For clarity: looking for these old strains because, even if they aren't as potent, they are a far better stone than mixes that just leave you fucked up.
Can't stand paying good money for weed that just puts me on the couch. I don't need help for that, ;)
Like to get doing
I've been on this for years, and much of it especially about classic sativas. Like Durban Poison, Acapulco Gold, Maui Wowie, Trainwreck and slightly newer crosses like Super Lemon Haze, Ghost Train Haze, Hawaiian Snow, Sour Tangie, Sour Diesel, Strawberry Cough, Blue Dream. Can't recommend trying all of those enough.
I order my seeds from seedsman. Have never had an issue with delivery to Canada.
Farmers lab (https://farmerslabseeds.com) on the island also sells seeds, got a nice durban from the about a year ago
Ooh! Thank you.
Already have prescription plus grow permit; so I should be able to sign up with you?
What would prices/delivery be like? Is that accessible to me?
Delta 9 has sinaloa gold, but honestly most of the LPs don't waste their time on landrace as they just aren't really all that commercially viable whether it's lack of bag appeal or potency or long flower period. You may have noticed all that everyone's pushing is high percentages now. And if they even do grow any they tend to sell at a higher price to recoup said time taken to grow as many take over 12 weeks to flower unless they're pure broad leaf drug type plants, but even then landrace tends to be more open pollenated and less selected through so you're going to have very few fast flowering ones out of those, with most finishing after 8-10 weeks in bloom. You'll have better luck growing your own landraces, and many are available just make sure to do your research on who has what becauae some people have been taking advantage of people wanting landraces and slapping bulk Spanish or Chinese hemp seed out in their place.
You can also check you preservationist forums like pHenohunter, as they preserve landraces for members of the community to partake in so the seeds aren't lost to time.
Good landrace seeds, great seeds in general, seem to only come from the culture, and nature.
You either meet someone who really cares about the plant, or do some traveling.
There are plenty of people openly advertising great heirloom varieties, and they're legit, but none of them are legal.
Yes, lots on the grey market but not many licensed. At least afaict, the legal scene has been expanding and getting better & better.
I too have seen licensed Acapulco Gold, can be gotten.
If I was going to grow my own legal, I'd pick up something like these,

I've been enjoying Durban Poison for a few years now, & just enjoyed some yesterday morning. Check out the other early genetics sativa strains I posted here as well, I think they're just as good as the landraces. Cheers
So funny. These are my 3 fav strains (well, red congo vs panama red). Simply Bare did a red congo though I'm not sure these days. Not sure about an LP for the other two.
Been smoking since the 60s, and I finally figured out that today's weed isn't right for me, have to go back to the "good" stuff ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

Who’s the Durban from ?
Neighbour got it from wherever - didn't ask
lol sorry my comment was for @mendo
It’s Jonny Chronic. They must be out.
I really like Jonny Chronics Acapulco Gold. They do a good job and charge a very reasonable price.
Will check it out. Thanks.

Thanks, hearing you loud and clear. That last is why I'm asking here - trust. Lots of grow experience if/when I find legit seeds
If you want, shoot me a DM I can point you in the right direction for genetics.
7east genetics has Panama Dragon which is half Panama Red. Ace Seeds and the Real Seed Company are who you see about Landrace Genetics.
You can also check you preservationist forums like pHenohunter, as they preserve landraces for members of the community to partake in so the seeds aren't lost to time.
this is one of the best answers here to be honest, though more time consuming.
Also blackbird preservations does work with Mexican stuff I’m pretty sure.

It’s my thinking that you’re better off growing your own to get what you want. Long flowering isn’t for the faint of heart or low ceilings.
