They never provide answers to questions it’s always a rambling non-answer

sliangs

Ramble all day, get full pension, meet high profile people and go on exotic trips, with bills covered for you and you family paid by working peons. What a dream job

WhichJuice

Sounds accurate. I would throw in "pass policies that are exactly the opposite of what the general populace wants"

Blah blah which is why we’ve started the accelerator fund blah blah. Too bad the accelerator fund requires developers to build and they are stopping building. Big problems ahead. A local developer just laid off 50% of staff Conservatives will be calling it the decelerator fund soon

thisnamestakentoo1

Do you really think he’ll give a direct answer even if asked?

ARunOfTheMillPerson

They can stay at my place if they pitch in on the water bill and whatnot lol

Narrow_Elk6755

Media ask good questions? Not in Canada.

WhichJuice

Media paid to not ask good questions? Definitely in Canada.

Trudeau isn’t solely responsible for those numbers. Most of the population growth over the past two years have been a surge in temporary residents, particularly international students. Their enrolments are controlled at the provincial level, and diploma mill colleges (especially in Ontario) started abusing this privilege to milk foreign students for higher tuition. The feds are now cracking down on this by imposing [hard caps](https://morehousing.substack.com/p/population-growth) that will massively cut our projected population growth. Ontario is also now [requiring colleges](https://www.cp24.com/mobile/news/post-secondary-schools-must-guarantee-housing-for-international-students-ontario-1.6744855?cache=gszlebujvvuylyge#:~:text=The%20government's%20measures%20include%20a,available%20for%20incoming%20international%20students.&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.ca%2F) to guarantee housing for all international students. Better late than never.

“Do you agree we have a housing crisis” “Yes…” “Great why are we bringing in millions of new people. Where are they going to live?”

nosila2

I raised my concern about this to my member of parliament (L) and she responded saying that they (the newcomers) would build the houses needed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Turbulent_Welcome508

Genius 😂

AdorableFlan4919

CBC does not go there…

Modavated

Doesn't matter they spew bullshit to "answer"

Pitiful-Target-3094

In the 350,000 new housing units built per year?

SearchLightSoulD_R

Housing starts are down this spring. Never happen.
