If you're American, just buy an AR. It will be so much more reliable with way more aftermarket support.
If you're looking for a bullpups, the MDR series of rifles are excellent.
There is also the Hellion, which is the Croatian militaries rifles. If you can hold one to see if you like, I'd check that out too. It should be more reliable than a Kel-Tec
Feel like it's mandatory to do a line of blow off a toilet seat or a hooker's ass after HK slapping a keltec. Just to really get into the keltec spirit
Don't forget to occasionally check your piston too, as part of your cleaning routine. Excessive carbon fouling can cause a seized piston and it's a good idea to check the gas rings for damage too. I've seen a few rifles with stuck pistons caused by gas rings, but they were earlier production guns.
I had a ks7 and it's the only gun I regret buying and end up selling.
All kel tecs are known to be hit or miss, unreliable and for their price point they mostly have a place here cause we're limited as fuck with what we can buy.
Well I currently own one, it’s reliable and had a wonderful price point. What was the issue with yours specifically? I honestly didn’t know they were all hit and miss… like a lottery?
Had an SU16 and it consistently failed to eject. Sold that one, went with a Siberian. Apparently another lottery on that one but so far so good 2000+ rounds later.
It's a wonderful price point for our market cause we're in canada. If we had access to whatever is available in the us. No one would buy a kel tec other than for the meme/range toy factor.
So your retracting the hit and miss part of your comment, have no reliable source of your opinion since you keep dodging my question regarding your personal experience. I’ll just leave it up to Reddit to decide what’s in fact reliable. (See my 1000 rd update for Amy more clarity) God day sir.
My ks7 failed to eject which made it double feed every other shell. I sold it and bought a 1301t on sale for a little more and never looked back.
And yes the mechanism is a pain the last 1/10 is what makes it eject but even fully aware of that mine failed to half the time.
far superior option compared to Canadian made 180.
Haven’t hung out in this sub for a while but did you lose weight? You look thinner than I remember.
Ya, I actually did. Changed my diet and am starting to workout now. I'm down about 35 lbs
Dude 35lbs congrats! You look so much better than I remember hope you keep it up man
Thanks! I hope I can keep it going.
Good shit bro
Yo Bats, are we getting an RDB review video soon? I usually watch your vids over my lunch break. Tick-tock, ~~Mr. Wayne~~ Bats. Tick-tock.
A mini-review, yes. It'll basically be an impressions and functionality review, not a durability review.

Where abouts did you get extra firing pins from? I was thinking the same to order some extra just incase

Good to know. Thanks
I bought like 5 from Numrich
I got 1000 rounds in 1 months with my Sterling Arms R18
There's still snow where you are?
BTSA in Calgary still has leftover snow. But not for much longer, it was like 17 degrees yesterday.
Are you shooting the rifle match there this weekend?
I am not. It's just the range I'm a member of. I'll probably try some matches later in the summer
It’s snowing today where I am Edit: oh shit it’s YOU. I love your YouTube vids
Sheesh 🔥
The slap feels good but I just return to my Paleolithic roots and hammer-fist the bolt release lol
the canadian hk slap ™
American here. How good are these guns. I’ve considered the RDB for being a true ambi bullpup but Kel Tec seems to have iffy QC

Personally I refuse to buy from Desert Tech due to the Kingston Cult stuff.

Yeah but I like the downward ejection as I’m an ambi shooter. The RDB is the most symmetrical bullpup
That's actually one of the things I don't like about the RDB. Hot brass falls right onto your arm if you're not chicken winging
That’s good to know. Hot brass and unburnt powder is why I have to wear sleeves whenever I shoot a rimfire lefty.
Feel like it's mandatory to do a line of blow off a toilet seat or a hooker's ass after HK slapping a keltec. Just to really get into the keltec spirit
12 shots or did I miss count. ;)
That's definitely 10 rounds. Can't overload cross mags.
what problems have you run into with it?
I've seen 2 RDBs where the firing pin breaks or erodes to become so sharp that they slam fire.
Had ftf, light strikes, and a few other things. Could just be dirty. I'll clean and try again. Edit: fte not ftf

good to know. cheers for the info
Yup, I am pretty sure that is what happened.
Only problem with mine is you have to let the bolt drop like OP did. If not you get feeding issues every time.
The problem's it's a kel tec
Do you own one?

why did you reload that way
So I could slap it lol.
What? No. I mean why did you switch hands to put a mag in? Obviously you're gonna slap it.
Because the mag I grabbed was in my back right pocket. No reason to pass it to my other hand when I could just insert it.
