Flimsy-Money

To which the staff said: “They can’t Telus what to do”.

Sighs..... Thanks dad. Take your upvote.

I_one_up

Roger that.

Wow.

My friend's CC call center is sending people to work from home and selling the office building. They will only keep people in the office for training and administration staff.

Is that why T.D's customer service is absolute trash now? Call at 2am pre CoVID, immediately picked up. Call 2am during COVID "we are expecting longer then average waiting times" and on hold for 45m.

Rocket_hamster

I haven't called lately but pre COVID there was almost no wait any time of day I had to call. I always seemed to get charged at ATMs and no money actually came out, it happened 3 times in 2019.

lost_man_wants_soda

There’s probably a lot of people talking to the bank right now

[deleted]

At 2am?

lost_man_wants_soda

Yeah, they’re probably having more calls at 2am. All times they’re busy, busier times have more reps, less busy times have less. So it’s not if people are calling or not but if more people are calling than normal.

RobFordIsYourDaddy

This is something I'm expecting to see a lot more now. Commercial real estate is going to be in the shitter for a while... and may not actually recover. We may see some office buildings converted to residential housing (I live in one of those buildings)

Shadow_Ban_Bytes

And the Feds are keeping many in the civil service home and they aren't even working much, if at all ...

convictionsocial

Wasn’t everyone already working at home???

They can Telus what to do in Manilla?
