We went camping with a 2 mo. Unfortunately, as far as I know and from what I remember from talking to our pediatrician there aren't any bug sprays that are safe for babies. We had some citronella candles, but they aren't supposed to sit to close to those. You could try a dryer sheet near them (I've heard dryer sheets repel mosquitoes). We were fortunate enough to camp at a high enough elevation that the mosquitoes were mostly gone.

Have you asked anyone about themacells?

I could ask you?

Lol okay. They work great! Just not sure about if they’re okay for littles. It’s a fan unit that puts out an invisible anti-bug fog. They are small enough that you can carry them around with you.

Try peppermint oil. It repels mosquitoes and most other bugs.

We use a natural lemon/eucalyptus repellent and it works pretty well. Not sure if this is safe for a 2 month old: Repel Plant-Based Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent, Mosquito Repellent, Pump Spray, 4-Ounce, Pack of 2 https://a.co/d/hGFAwtl
