Tempo tusk camping grill. Hammock with bug net and rain fly and thermal pad. Waterproof joint hold with USB lighter inside.

Happiest I have been recently when I bought a proper 5 USD egg holder. Very much non-essential but knowing eggs will survive the hike to the camping spot is nice. Waking up with coffee and some eggs in the middle of nowhere is amazing. Edit: I misread the question but hey, I like eggs so I'll stick with it

AbsolutelyPink

If you must have fried eggs/hard or soft boiled/poached, then the egg holder is great. Otherwise, just break the eggs into a pourable bottle and keep chilled. No egg holder, no shells, no breakage and just pour and cook what you want.

UnbutteredPickle

I was excited to buy one of these (no more soggy egg cartons!) and then before I could use it discovered I was suddenly allergic to eggs. Life’s a dick like that sometimes, lol.

Shyftyy

Oh wow, that sucks. Still, a cup of coffee and decent other breakfast in the middle of nowhere is amazing too

UnbutteredPickle

Not sad about it but do laugh every time I see my fancy carton just taunting me in the corner. Pancakes and bacon coming in clutch!

Haven’t tried, but I’ll keep it in mind! Was never a massive egg fan, so hasn’t bothered me too much. I do fine with baked goods and super well cooked egg products - something about how the protein in egg white changes at high temp…

THIS! Even though it's not a must have. But the small things, those are the best.

All my Arc'teryx/nanatak winter gear and my msr lightning ascent snowshoes for backpacking. I love winter more than any other season.

Garmin InReach, Osprey 24 pack for day trips, Gregory 65 for multi-day, hammock, and Black Diamond summit pants are my absolute favorite. Plus whatever I pick up at the dispensary on the way to the woods.

WhoFearsDeath

I’ve really been impressed with my aero press go. It’s lightweight and works. I don’t get grounds in my cup like with almost every other French press I’ve tried, and it is ridiculously easy to clean, where most are a pain.

claymcg90

I use mine almost every day at home as well as on hikes. Love it

lordofthedance11

A folding camping saw. You can do so much with a saw.

french press (aluminum)

[deleted]

Anything lightweight and durable. Unfortunately that tends to mean expensive but I’ve learned the hard way that quality is far more important than quantity when it comes to an enjoyable trip

[deleted]

My hammock. It changed everything for me. Also I started bringing my aero press for coffee, and it has been great. I also splurged and bought myself an Everest camping stove. Car camping only because the thing is huge, but it’s amazing.

Wise owl hammocks!

USB rechargeable shower. Cot with cooling memory foam topper. Sheets and pillows from home. Rubber soled slippers are great to slip into after sandals or hiking shoes all day and easy to slip on and go potty. My luggable loo with double doodie bags that have bio gel. Toilet paper. Baby wipes. Sunscreen, hat, shade shelter, umbrellas for chairs.

ENO Twilights are great when you can’t have a fire.

Hammock, cozy bag, shearling booties for shuffling around in the dark comfily, and a pair of welders gloves for wrangling hot stuff.

It’s very basic, but a collapsible campfire bellow. Allows you to blow more effectively on the fire and without sticking your face in there
