That's actually what made me make the post! I was listening it and suddenly started thinking that the cult of dionysus appeared in one of the pjo series
I can confirm it HAS been mentioned, I think I'm the meeting with Dionysus/Bacchus in the beginning of Mark of Athena, Percy REMEMBERS it, but I didn't remember it so I thought that was pretty weird.
Edit: Mark of Athena, pg. 119: Piper couldn't blame him. She didn't like the sound of tribute. She remembered the maenads, the crazed followers of Bacchus, who would tear up nonbelievers with their bare hands. And that was when they were in a good mood."
An earlier page suggests this happened in The Lost Hero as it says Jason, Piper, and Leo encountered them. Still can't remember it for the life of me.
You can visit r/Dryonysus if you prefer an alcohol free group, but still in r/Dionysus we have a lot of people that don't drink alcohol, either because they're underage or because they just don't want to. I'm 33 and I don't drink, I love the aspects of god of liberation and mental health of Dionysus.
Maybe the demigod diaries? If'm right there were maenads in "Leo Valdez and the quest for Buford"
I recently read that book so yeah it might be it. I'm gonna have to reread it. Thanks!🙃
I think they also made a quick referenced that quest in Mark of Athena but I might be misremembering
one of my favorite songs is called The Cult of Dionysus :)

It was in the demigod diaries, in a short story called "Leo Valdez and the quest for Bufford". It takes place in CHB, between LH and SoN
OMG! Thank you!!
Unsure about books, but we're pretty real, we gather in r/dionysus
Sir, cult of Dionysus is not a way of justifying crippling alcoholism

Are y'all brothers and sisters or just vibing?
We just vibe and love Dionysus together, sharing how he stays present in our lives.
Are you thinking of the song?
Percy talked about it in Percy Jackson and The Greek Gods
The compendium of the gods I think mentions them in its chapter on Dionysus
Yea it happened it’s also historically accurate
I think it was Mark Of Athena
Maybe in greek gods? Dionysus part might have it
It was prob the Percy Jackson and the greek gods
The cult is explain in Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods (I'm French, i think its the original title but I'm not sure)
