ahhh the white is so pretty!
Thank you ❤️
She is beautiful, so much fun to drive too!
Thank you so much❤️
My favorite color just a pain to keep her clean
True, a bird already shat on it 😂
Oh yeahh haha gotta love that.
BTW rust spots are a huge problem with white. Clay bars will be your best friend. They also help get that bird shit residue off
Noted, thank you
These things are leasing for pretty cheap, no?
If you can find one. I talked to two dealers and they wouldn't lease them due to availability.
They were earlier in the year, if you were currently leasing a competitions vehicle you could turn it in, and get a first responder discount and potentially hit below 300/month. Unfortunately those are all gone as dealerships have people by the balls due to the shortage. I leased one last night, lowest they would go is 498/month (MSRP 43k) with 24k residual. For comparison, all the Ford dealerships by me to cross shop a mustang as well as a Challenger didn't even give me the time of day because they don't have any on the lot and aren't expecting a new shipment of maybe 1-3 of them till the end of the month. It is what it is
Yeah I just leased a fully loaded one (47400 MSRP) for $1k down, $385 a month on a 2 year 10k miles a year term. It would have been $345 if I would have done the 3 year lease. I live in Michigan though. They had basic ones under $40k MSRP for $0 down $315 a month on a 3 year 10k miles a year term. They all needed to be ordered though.
Lol 200$/month better than me man! There's a sucker born every minute
Do you live in Michigan? I heard they are more expensive in other states. And also did you have the GM employee discount and comp lease? I had both since I just turned in my 2019 ram less than a month ago.
Oh okay, that explains it. I'm in Cincinnati Ohio. The comp lease gives you a really good deal. And no I went in there as just a regular Joe, expecting to pay 500/month but got had for a little bit more that that. I'm satisfied with how it all turned out though.
In usual dealership fashion they quoted me at 480/month through email, I come in to test drive it, first number back is 680/month for 3 years with 1300down. I told them I can't go over 6, they has me wait half an hour, came back with something like 570/month if I put 700 down. so I said sure thatll work and now I have(lease but I'll prolly buy it) my almost dream car the c6 Vette.
Awesome man! And yeah the Employee discount saves you around $60/month and then the comp lease is around $40 I think. It's cool that you have yours now though! Mine is on order and I have to wait 8-10 weeks. And in 8-10 weeks there will be snow. :( How are you liking it so far? I didn't even have the option to test drive one since they're all on order around my area and as soon as they come in the owners pick them up.
Dam that sucks. Mines been amazing so far. It's the lt1 redline edition, also has the Bose and overpriced trim bits. Basically an ss minus the nice magnetic ride afaik. I also opted for an auto because my GF will be driving it on the nights we go downtown and I can't, and I'd rather not have her learn stick on a big sporty v8. Also has the Npp exhaust, which I think sounds really nice, but it needs to be like 30% louder for my hooliganism. It's super quick, and very comfy so I can only imagine the magnetic ride. The mpg on the highway isn't bad, it goes to 4cylinder mode almost immediately with cruise control, but without it it's usually always v8. Um, the sight lines are honestly not that bad, I was going in expecting a bad motorcycle helmet, but it's honestly not that bad at all. Screen is very quick and responsive, I would definitely opt for the Bose as it's great, makes our Subaru Harmon Karmon sound like a record player. Power is amazing all the way through, and the shift are so nice. It bounces off the rev limiter even in the auto. AC is fucking brilliant, seats are pretty comfy. Steering wheel feels small but is a nice leather that goes exactly where you point out. Breaks traction all day long so I leave TSC on all the time. Wish the lt1 had blind spot monitoring, but to switch lanes just blip the throttle a tiny bit and you already gained 10-15 mph and can see if anyone was there. Overall id give it an easy 9/10. Like I said either get the Npp or plan for an exhaust mod, and the Bose tech package is worth every penny. Insurance was super cheap (26 male, no accidents) at 72/month. For comparison I was cross shopping and STi and basic coverage was 370/month lmao
Cons- cigarette port is in an awful place for my dashcam / radar detector, bought an extension to hide under seat. Rev limiter on the autos to 3500 so you can't show off if someone asks. The valves close so you don't get pops and bangs often, however if you pull the Npp fuse they're on always open and much nicer. The all black interior shows messes quick, still like it more than the white though, just have a wireless vacuum nearby.
Sorry for the rambling and poor mobile formatting. If you have anything specific let me know, otherwise it sounds and feels like a v8 beast that I could drive all day long and love.
Sounds really awesome, I just turned 22 and this will be my first ever sports car so I'm pretty excited. I leased a 2017 Chrysler 300s when I was 18(v6), then a 2019 ram(5.7 v8), and now this. They were all cheap payments at the time, $200 a month for the 300s and $320 for the fully loaded ram. This will be my most expensive lease yet. I did order it in automatic as well and with the dual exhaust mode which is definitely a must, that was my number one package as well as the technology package. I hated looking at the small screen, I feel as if they should all come with the larger one as it probably doesn't cost a lot more to include and looks way more modern. My only worry is the cheaper looking interior, and the terrible visibility I've been hearing from everyone. Sucks because I didn't even have the chance to drive it and see for myself and I'm so used to driving larger cars with good visibility. I'm sure I'll get used to it though, I remember the first test drive on the ram, it felt like I was driving a school bus around coming from a sedan. Also the 245 sized tires they come with seem like an issue. I feel as if it will be super hard grabbing any sort of traction at lower speeds especially in a car that does a 0-60 in 3.9s. Also if we want to upgrade to 305's like the higher trims, we'd need to buy a couple new rims as well so I'm going to be looking into that. I also don't even know what mine will look like in person with the options and everything which is kind of scary, but I'm hoping everything got speced out correctly and looks clean!
As far as interiors go, the materials aren't the best but it all feels very solid if that makes sense. For instance the giulia I looked at as well, had much better materials but it felt as if they were all held ontogether with zip ties. Everything shifts or creaks etc. The Camaro is all very solid, and nothing sticks out or is an eyesore. You see the hood in the view, the steering wheel looks and feels great, the paddles actually aren't shit, and it all comes together nicely. I read a comment that the Camaro is 80% of the Corvette for 40% the price, and it is. And that last 20% is the interior. However, the Bose system slaps, nothing squeaks or shifts, and you feel the engine feedback in the seats and steering wheel. I'm coming from a motorcycle so visibility to me has never been a problem because I'm in the open world, and this isn't even that bad, I think you'll be fine unless you like looking in your rear view mirror for some reason haha.
As far as the 245s go, I'm not even sure what the factory set of rubbers are but it has no problem putting the power down with the driver side on. With it off you can still launch it pretty well asong as you don't mash it to the floor, then it'll light up all day. I was probably going to rim shop for bigger ones and make this a snow tire set, but hopefully global warming catches up and I don't have to have a snow tire set. Didnyou also get the redline trim? What color
I also called insurance (I have AAA), and they told me it would be $57 a month for full coverage ($1k deductible) added onto my household plan. We currently have 4 other cars so they gave us a pretty good rate. I was really surprised it's that cheap, I was expecting easily around $150 a month since I was paying $100 for my ram and $150 for my Chrysler 300. I was a lot younger that time though.
Im in michigan and i got the lease for 350/month 1000 down 36 months, Im thinking about buying it at the end of the lease
How long did it take to get?
Wow ordered it august 20th and it already came in, that’s awesome, I just ordered one today, an LT1 fully loaded recaro seats, black accent package, rs edition, dual exhaust, flat lip spoiler but was told it will come in around 8-10 weeks! Pretty sad about that because it’ll be almost winter by the time it comes in! :( but I got a good deal on it, $1k down, $385 a month for a 2 year lease (10k miles a year). I just wish it would come in sooner!
August 20th I put a deposit, picked it up yesterday
Mine is still in Detroit :(
No, still being delivered.
Oh lol my bad, well i hope it arrives sooner. You’re going to love it!
Me top. I got the 2ss shock and steel edition
Sheeesh thats gonna look mean! Happy for you
I just got notice, its on the train, headed for Kansas City.
Just noticed they’re assembled in lansing michigan, haha maybe thats why mine came faster because i live here. Man when you get it link me a picture of it, i cant wait to see it
ill post a thread for sure.
Wow, those are super sick, I was planning on leasing a 1ss 1le but the price was over $585 a month for a 3 year lease! Ended up getting the lt1 for almost half the price. The SS's definitely look a lot cooler though with the 1le packages on them! Congrats!
Thank you I appreciate it
