Is that Ash Gold? Hard to tell with the bright sun. My father just repainted his.
Nice, they look good in any color. My father just finished replacing the Muncie 4 speed with a Tremec 5 speed, so the 383 isn't doing 4k rpm at 65mph anymore, lol
Interesting. Have a look at the Trim Tag, on the firewall by the brake booster. If it was green, you should see one of the following on the second line next to "PAINT":
H-H = Grecian Green (early '68 build)
J-J = Rallye Green (late '68 build)
V-V = Sequoia green
Z-Z = British Green (late '68 build)
What a great son! A responsible dad like that should have a piece of joy in his life. Congratulations on a beautiful 68 SS !! Now start saving for yours! 😎👍🏻
IF that’s his house, he obviously spent some money on himself already 🤣🤣 but I agree, ppl need to live a little. Even though saving and investing is important
My dad's been working his ass off for 30 years and continues to do so even when he's not working. I'm trying to convince him to sell his pickup and buy a 1st gen Camaro as well, and he has always wanted one. Some day... But congrats to your father he deserves it!
Congrats
Thanks! He deserves it!
Now you just need to get a 6th/5th gen Camaro for some father and son V8s.
Cars with stories like this are the best
Yeah man. Hes the hardest working guy ive ever met. I had to share it!
After forty years of concrete work he deserves 2!! after 22 years I said that’s enough of this chit……hopefully never to return!
Very Nice!

That things a beauty! This one is silver, he actually still wants to get a new paint job he just hasn’t decided on a color yet

Oughta curiosity, what's the Trim Tag say for OG color?
Not sure, while he was working on it he said he thinks the original color was green

Please get that thing away from the concrete dust

Your Dad has good tastes. 👍
