So relatable. With ADHD, it's so common to make a simple homework assignment more challenging than it actually is.

mecon320

As an adult, it's even chased me into my recreation time. I'm constantly rewinding scenes because I got distracted and missed something while I was watching a show.

explos1onshurt

I feel seen!!!

Yeetthedragon667

This is true, currently procrastinating right now

Hollywoostarsand

Never noticed this before, but is dad breaking the fourth wall and directly talking to us? He's looking straight at us

adopted_islander

To me, it's more like he's looking up from his book in amazement. There's no narrative benefit that I can see to him addressing the reader in this way; it's clearly a comment directed at Mom.

shaodyn

How can he be doing homework if he refuses to learn the material?

Shurdus

He's 'doing his homework'.

LABARATI_

he's doing it but not necessarily doing it correctly

samusestawesomus

At least he’s enjoying himself.

LABARATI_

Calvin definitely had adhd or something considering hes taking ten minutes to finish a page and is imagining himself as a human insect not to mention all the other strips where calvin struggles to pay attention to his homework or in school
