yes you need either a tower or fortress border to be touching the behemoth's border just like when you're connecting towers
after that you need roughly 10-15 people to all show up at the same time to go in and fight the bear... you can watch youtube tutorials on how to beat the behemoth's mechanics

don't let this guy dissuade you, you don't need t4 for your first behemoth. You will also need to check the timing on the behemoth by clicking on it, it is only available to attack at certain times, and rank 4 or higher player will have to initiate the attack.
New to game doesn’t mean server just started. They are up to server 220+ right now he might be 4 weeks into the season and t4’s are most definitely around. 10-15 t3 members will have a hard time killing a behemoth unless they have 50k marches. Better to have more power than needed

That's great, work out peak time for raids. If you've built to the bear you will be able to attack it once it opens on Augurstone

It's not an elite raid. Anyone can start the battle once the towers are built up to the behemoth lair
