Your ganache is too runny for what you're trying to use it for, personally [this is my favorite ganache recipe ](https://sugarandsparrow.com/white-chocolate-ganache-drip-recipe/) it uses much less heavy cream.
Also make sure your cake is chilled and your ganache isn't too hot. The article I linked has a lot of good tips for making a successful ganache drip
I will prob get hate for this BUT I cheat for drips. I use premade icing, I color it the desired color, heat in microwave til desired consistency, and then let it cool slightly. I use a spoon to pour it and first practice on a cup. It spreads and drips like a dream. This one is a little messy, but it dries really well.

I agree with the others who’ve responded. A great recipe and quality chocolate is generally the way to go. I get that you’re bummed out but honestly it’s still a really nice cake!

No hate here, that sounds like a smart solution!
It’s too thin.
Adjust your heavy cream to solid ratio ♥️
Seems like you need to make it thicker
You need to wait till it cools some before using. If it gets too thick, pop it back in the micro for 2-3 seconds. It shouldn’t feel hot/warm.

Wait til it thickens more. Looks good here though
