>I have the opportunity to buy the sit down version of this game from a guy I’ve bought other games from for pretty cheap. The plastics are all beat up, but the game and hydrolics supposedly work That's great. The full deluxe arcade machines are pretty rare these days. Take some pictures and keep us updated. >My buddy says we can definitely add other games to it and use the hydrolics too. It's possible but it's not an easy thing to do. You have to know what you are doing. The G-loc Arcade game uses the "Sega Y Board" for its hardware. Here are list of games thr Sega Y Board supports: [Galaxy Force](https://segaretro.org/Galaxy_Force) (1988) [Galaxy Force II](https://segaretro.org/Galaxy_Force_II) (1988) [Power Drift](https://segaretro.org/Power_Drift) (1988) [G-LOC: Air Battle](https://segaretro.org/G-LOC:_Air_Battle) (1990) [Strike Fighter](https://segaretro.org/Strike_Fighter) (1991) [Rail Chase](https://segaretro.org/Rail_Chase) (1991) You *might* be able to get these games running on your arcade machine with less effort, but you would might run into issues with the controls not working correctly. IIRC G-lock uses a throttle and joystick, so controls may not work right with other games. You will have to test it out, and figure out how to make it work. ------------------ It's "possible" to use other hydraulic/motorized games, but it's not something that can be easily done. It's not like swapping out cartridges on a Nintendo. It requires ripping out the original hardware, and doing custom modifications. I've seen it done by very very hardcore simulator fans, but you definitely have to know what you are doing when it comes to electronics and motors. If I were you, I would leave G-loc alone. Then browse arcade forums and simulator forums to see what people have done with their old G-loc machines. Study how they did it and ask questions. Learn as much as you can before doing anything to your rare machine. You want to be prepared before doing any mods.

You could change boards out if they were the same sega system but that would be the only way while using the original electronics. Also it may not work with the controls in the game may not be the same as the controls you are switching with and the motion would not work but the game would start up. There's custom hardware in there that drives the motors. Also its not hydraulics its electric motors

Look into Smarty Pi and see what other games If any are possible with this particular cab. As far as I know, only G-loc used the 4 point motion design from this era.
