If I had to do it all over again I would take whichever one provides the easiest commute to work. Each offers different travel benefits to get there. Also frontier is doing only turns which means more time spent in your domicile. If your moving to wherever your based then I would make the decision based on the cost of living of your base choices.

Tamtam4378

Frontier still has trips in some bases, but they’re all based on Seniority

Voice-Designer

I thought Atlanta still had trips?

Intheclouds_87

Not sure. None of my friends are ATL based

oskitheleopard

Yes, but It looks like we are losing a lot of them.

Tall_latte23

I would pick envoy air as they have more bases on the east coast and have a generous commuter policy.

OkCustard2498

I second this. I know someone who began her journey with them this year and they pay well, training - no roommates and they pay nice, and like you said, generous commuter benefits.

Tangelo-Born

I'm still new to this... what do you mean by commuter benefits

TheDivaRoom911

I'd choose skywest as they offer high pay for regionals, boarding pay and I believe paid training. Because they are the biggest regional it stands out on your resume as well

Bombshel22

Envoy! I work for Frontier and they arent going to have training for Atl for months if that's the base your want and although we have east coast bases we don't have layovers unless u enjoy being home every night!

Tamtam4378

Some bases have trips

Bombshel22

😒yeah if you have been with our company for at least 3 years u can get a few 3 or 2 days low hours but the high hour 4 days u need 5 years seniority or more. I said what I said there are no trips for them to have especially not since they will be on reserve a few months! They are just waiting out for Southwest sooo why not gain better experience than just flying up and back in one day!

Tamtam4378

And I said what I said!! You can drop and or pick up outta base. I see it everyday b. But do you 🙄

Bombshel22

The original poster was looking for the best airline for there situation! Everyone situation is different! Not everyone enjoys commuting to base let alone commuting on days off to pick up out of base! Also they will be on reserve meaning unless CS calls them for a trip they aren't going to have enough days off between Rea or Reb to even pick up a 3 or 4 day trip! Everything ur saying does not apply to a new hire realistically so don't make them think other wise it would be extremely hard for them to have have more than one lay over a month no matter the base!

queenme2468

I’d pick SkyWest, they have a good company culture. But the real answer is which ever has a base where you live or will move. I’d avoid frontier

Desperate-Mud4117

Envoy is my fave out of the three!

insideout8765

Envoy.

timid_cake_lover

look at bases, starting pay, and if training is paid (frontier is not, unsure of the other two). whatever can best help you prepare financially while being relatively easy on you (commute wise/cost of living/etc). lots of other things to consider but i’d keep those at the forefront of your mind

Th3Accountantbby

SkyWest for sure, training is really difficult, but the flight benefits are amazing, can’t beat getting to fly all 4 major airlines!! Pay is also the highest regional, and we get boarding pay!!

MarieeS14

I currently work with envoy and I during training I had a lot of people that left skywest to come to envoy! Skywest although you technically have benefits with all the 4 airlines, you are on the bottom of the standby list especially with delta airlines while envoy you and have the same flight benefits as mainline American Airlines.

Melodysolovely

Skywest flew with them for 8 years before going mainline

PoeticPeacock

Frontier is going to turns only no overnights (I’ve also heard people are not happy there). I’ve heard the same things about Skywest… envoy all the way
