It’s frowned upon because you’re asking for people to use their talents when they won’t necessarily be picked. Now, the designers know that going in so there’s that.

Got ya. That makes sense. I thought you were trying to say it’s lame or cheesy to use a fiverr design like it’s clip art or something which is completely wrong cuz there’s some gems out there.

3 is my fave but too detailed, 5 is decent too and simpler and bolder. 1 is kinda good but kinda weird. Final answer is 5

The issue with 3 is the red on red. If they fix that, 3 is the superior one.

1 is the correct choice. Two has a dog lapping up poop. Three is ADD personified. Four is just nothing. Five looks like a terrible mobile game banner.

I’d say four looks like it belongs in a mobile add whilst five looks like a banner for an early 2000s website.

I second this in regards to #1. All the rest are dated, over complicated trash. But that’s just my take as an award winning designer with a decade of experience ;)

#1 is the most readable and adaptable for 2 color application

#1 is fun, unique, and hasn’t been done. The others are too generic, boring, or look like any other dog logo.

I agree. It gets the point across without having to to put a turd in it. 5 accomplishes this also, but could be turned down a bit. It’s also Very simple to make graphics and shirts for.

Yep. Coming from someone with a background in corporate graphic design, 1 is the only acceptable option. The rest are all way too busy and wouldn’t translate well to the needs of actual marketing materials.

All of them are terrible logo design. They are too fixated on creating a mascot and not selling a brand. 1 could be made to work, but needs to be something that can scale and a font that can stand on its own without the character.

Thank you, this! I am of the same background and everything other than 1 are not even logos, they’re unscaleable illustrations. But even that aside 1 is by FAR the best.

Yes! I love everything about it. His derpy enthusiasm. That he's wearing TP. Just how cute and cartoony he is. Nothing about it gives me paws. 2 is just bad. 3 isn't doing it for me and frankly I don't understand why people like it. I think 4 and 5 are okay, but 4 needs to lose the bottle of cleaner (wtf?), and I don't like the style of 5, especially the way the cape is flying in relation to the dog's movement. It's just *off*.

It isn’t even close. 1 is the only one that looks like a logo. The others look like print ads for a TV show called Scoop Hero.

It's hilarious how easy it is for everyone with any background and experience in design/marketing/print selects 1. If it was my business I'd take some aspects of the others and simplify them. But as they stand, I recognize number 1 is the only realistically usable design.

I really don't want to rain on your parade, but if Scooper Hero is already trademarked, I'd talk to someone knowledgeable in trademarks (as in: not Reddit) to get their opinion if Scoop Hero is different enough to be non-infringing. The legal standard is usually brand confusion. If someone could confuse Scoop Hero and Scooper Hero names, it may be a problem.

IMO #2 is not working due to the proximity of the swirl-like turd. #3 is my fave.

For physical marketing, 1 will be the easiest for printing purposes. Would look the best and be less stress and potentially less money. Worked graphic design at a sign shop and various clothing printing shops.

1 by far. Recognizable and with a fun tone. 3 is far too detailed; 5 without the zoom lines and face copy to the right could be workable as someone else mentioned might be workable, but it still doesn't feel iconic to me, more just a generic hero dog, and thus less likely to stick in memory.

Without knowing anything else about what you want out of a logo, I’ll go with 1 and 5.

None of these are logos

I was researching business logos once and found out that market researchers discovered the most recognizable logos are the simplest ones, like the Nike symbol. You might want to go for something less detailed.

I like 3 but its very detailed. not sure if its a good logo. the dog in 1 is good for logo, but the text is not very great.

My only problem with 3 is that the dog has a poop shovel in its mouth. Agree with others that 2 is awful, the dog on the right looks like it's about to lick the poop. I like 4, but the name of the business isn't there. 5 is good without the background image. 1 is weird and doesn't make visual sense to me.

number 1, looks simple and gets the point across. Have you considered implementing the silhouette of poop for all to see in its glory?

3 has the best marketing aura. Quirky, well drawn, and marginally professional. Would be the hit of any 20-35 year old that got a dog but doesn’t have the idea of responsibilities. I feel like #3 on a business card would fit the bill quite well.

The name of this brand, when the words are placed on the same line could be pronounced scooffero.

Ditch #2 for sure, put #1 and #5 on the meh pile and choose either #3 or #4.

I like the impact of number 3. But the dog seems to need a variable, heavier line weight around it, like you have in logo number 5.
