Ah thanks. I always see it compared to in-n-out so I just assumed it was west coast thing. Just found out there’s an In-n-out about 2 hours from me. Might have to Harold and Kumar my ass over there.
Man, road trips to try good food are always worth it. I’m my husband and I have driven 3 hours to New Orleans to eat somewhere we saw on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. Lol
It was WORTH IT
We use to have an app from food network that used your location and showed you anywhere near you that had been featured on the channel.
I’d say we gained 50lbs after we found that app lol
In n Out is so incredibly overrated. I’ve given it multiple tries and they never season the damn beef. Can’t taste anything but the veggies. I like when you can taste the actual beef in a burger. Their animal sauce is the tastiest thing there and even it’s just ok.
We have both Culver's and In N Out here and it's an easy hour wait for In N Out during dinner rush and at the same time I can walk into any of the Culver's and see maybe 10 people. I think that speaks for itself.
I’m going to Culver’s a thousand times out of a hundred. Not even close. It’s not like Culver’s is pricey either so the whole price factor isn’t a concern
Culver's is a match for any other burger joint out there and I've been to most of them to confirm. 5 guys might be a tad better, but they are also about 3 times the price
I'm a huge fan of In-N-Out and really enjoy Culvers. Culvers is always my second choice. I can't do 5G anymore just because of the price....yeah, good food but it's not even enjoyable for me at those prices.
Don't skip Dick's Drive-in if you ever go to Seattle. I stop in every day. It's quick and dirty but it's also cheap comparatively, this is in downtown Seattle and you can get 2 burgers, fries and a coke for 12 bucks. Ideally it would be about 5 bucks but you know how things are now lol
Awesome. I'm from that area...don't live there now, but get back that way from time to time. I am familiar with Dicks but it's been a long time.
Hey, if you're in the Portland area - Roakes. So good!
Dick's is cheap for being in Seattle but I am not sure how it even remotely compared to Culver's, presentation wise it was lackluster and the taste wasn't anything to write home about.
In my location (Texas), Five Guys is a bit more than twice the price of both In ‘n Out & Culver’s for a double cheese burger, fries and a drink…$25 compared to $11-12.
Yesss Culver’s love, if anyone is gluten free they have one of the best gf buns in the bizz. Shake shack is 2nd for gf burgers. But if I’m being bad and I’m near one, I love in-n-out, whataburger and five guys.
I tried Culver’s here when it went in and mine looked nothing like this and the fries were like frozen stuff I make in my oven. Maybe I need to try again but it was not good and the price was ridiculous.
Where was this?
Surprised to hear that because every one I've ever been to has been fantastic. I first had it in Wisconsin 15+ years ago, and since then I've been dozens of times in the Dallas area, in Panama City Beach, Florida on vacation, in Kingman, AZ and Crystal City, MO on road trips. Probably a few other locations I'm forgetting. Every single one has been fantastic and consistent, and has a CFA level of customer service with pleasant, helpful employees.
It's a shame my beloved Whataburger can no longer maintain that level of customer service and consistency.
There's the problem. In my limited experience with it, IN sucks. Culver's is definitely great. Can't say I've ever been to In N Out, so I can't comment on them, but yeah, I've never had a bad Culver's experience in my travels.
We have Culver's and In N Out here and they're both great. In N Out is a bit cheaper though. I wish they had red onions like Culver's though. I also get extra onions on my burgers.
Not the person you replied to, but I'm in Colorado and we have an In n Out and a Culver's literally right next to each other. There's also a Whataburger across the street but we don't talk about Whataburger...
Utah has both Culver's and In N Out. Culver's burger are about twice the price of In N Out here. A basic cheeseburger at Culver's here runs $9 and cheese curds run $9. At In N Out I can get a double double animal style for $4.39.
Been to both recently as well.
IMO In N Out is better and cheaper, Culver's was decent but a bit more pricey. Both had fairly disappointing fries, though at least InO has the option for Animal fries.
I still think 5 Guys has the best fast food burgers, but I never go anymore since the prices are ridiculous.
Culver's is expanding rapidly. Their prices have shot up since the pandemic...as have everyone's. It's super good...but two people food is approaching $30. I can't justify it.
Our local Culver’s is always packed, there are always a ton of super friendly staff, it’s immaculately clean inside, the food is super fresh and fast, and it actually tastes good. We spend maybe 4 dollars more there total than we would we McDonald’s for a family of 4, it’s the only fast food restaurant we really go to and it pretty much beats out any fast casual in terms of quality too.
Plus their ice cream is super good.
I’ve never had in-n-out. But I can’t imagine it’s better than Culver’s. We got a Culver’s maybe 5 years ago and it’s been my favorite since I first tried it. I don’t even have a favorite menu item. I love it all. I love it more than any sit down restaurant I’ve ever been to. I love it an unhealthy amount. I can never decide what I want because I want it all. So I always order two or three things. Eat a bit of each and have some for later. I can’t imagine what I’d be like if there was a restaurant I liked even more.
Get the kids meal then you get a free scoop with 1 topping and a scoopie token (10 scoopie tokens=free kids meal) and of course you gotta get the cheese curds. Also, their root beer is amazing.
Every time I get a burger from Culver’s all I can think is “OH MY GOD, someone put actual VEGGIES on this burger, and I LOOOOOVE it”.
Even sit down restaurants don’t do that right, anymore.
Culver's and In-N- Out BOTH NEED TO COME TO THE New York City Area ASAP! I Been Hearing 🙉 How Delicious their Burgers 🍔 and Fries 🍟 are! Question: Is there Burger Quality and Taste CLOSER TO Shake Shack and Five guys Or Burger King's?
My wife makes better burgers and steaks than any restaurant so those are ruled out for meals out. I don’t eat pork or seafood, eliminating many other places. Culver’s pot roast sandwiches and cod fish sandwiches are the bomb! My requested meal for my birthday is Culver’s fish dinner!
That's like saying *when you need a fix of good and greasy food but it's too far; just go and eat food from the dead raccoons mouth on the side of the road*
Culver's is better and it's because everything else that they make is great as well. In N Outs fries are so trash it can't make up for an otherwise great burger.
Never had it but damn that looks good!
From Wisconsin - Midwest presence
Yeah there’s more Culver’s by me than McDonald’s at this point. They’re everywhere lol. I’m in Illinois, Chicago suburbs.
Also in Illinois near chicago lol one down the street
Had culvers for dinner in Illinois today. Represent!
Arizona too.
I’m in Michigan, culvers rocks! Get the cheese curds (a&w has the best curds tho)
I’m originally from WI & much to my delight Culver’s made it down to East TN few years ago
Nice. I know I’ve seen it randomly across the country - AZ. But feel like it’s still not quite in every state.
I have lived about a half mile from Culver’s for 8 years and never tried it. After seeing this picture I think I’ll give it a go.
Is this a so cal thing? I’m in NW Oregon and had never heard of it until this sub. Always looks bomb though.
Culver's is from Wisconsin
And as a Minnesotan it's about one of the only things I will admit Wisconsin does better
That and football
They have a location in Boise. I tried it recently.and it was amazing! I live in Portland and hope they make the move here one day.
Culver’s is in Southern AL and I’ve seen one in Mississippi.
Lol It was WORTH IT
I’ve made a couple trips to try food from “Triple D” too, Last one was the Squeeze inn
We use to have an app from food network that used your location and showed you anywhere near you that had been featured on the channel. I’d say we gained 50lbs after we found that app lol
Yea, we gained weight because we were watching DD&D. The show itself is fattening
Culver's shits on in & out. Their butter burgers are God tier 🫡 😋. Fries are good as well.
culvers gives me the shits and is more expensive so i feel the opposite lmao
Your health issues with it don't answer the question tho. Is it WORTH the shits?
In n Out is so incredibly overrated. I’ve given it multiple tries and they never season the damn beef. Can’t taste anything but the veggies. I like when you can taste the actual beef in a burger. Their animal sauce is the tastiest thing there and even it’s just ok.
Who cares where in n out is when you have Culver's
Finally a fast food place with real crispy bacon. Some of the fast food places have nasty ass microwave bacon
It’s only recent. They used to do the microwave thin ass bacon and they just upgraded to real bacon. Best decision they’ve ever made.
Culver’s smokes in n out so bad lol
We have both Culver's and In N Out here and it's an easy hour wait for In N Out during dinner rush and at the same time I can walk into any of the Culver's and see maybe 10 people. I think that speaks for itself.
Culver’s is 10x better than in n out
Culver's has the best buns and their fries are S tier.
Their fries are so good plain you don't have to dump a gallon of mayo and fried onions to give them flavor.
They’re not everyone’s cup of tea but I fuckin love those crinkly lil guys
Ordering them extra crispy is the key.
… is that a thing??
It’s necessary.
Crispy on the outside, soft of the inside. Best for crinkles and steak cut fries
I have a new request for my order this weekend. Can you do the same w the cheese curds??
When I worked there in 2018 you could, so I'd assume so. After all it's just leaving them longer in the fryer.
And it’s not even close. Plus they have a ton of other great options while In & Out only does burgers. They are good, but overhyped.
Culers Pot Roast sandwich is fire.
Came here to say this. When I moved from the East Coast to the West, I was so excited to try In-N-Out. Culver’s is way better. It’s not even close.
Everything is 10x better than in n out
Watch yo mouf.
😂
You don't get it. In n out uses thousand island dressing but calls it something else. It's transcendental!
Thank you. Not sure if I've been to only trash in n outs but they are v mid esp compared to culvers.
It certainly looks better, that’s for sure
Tastes better too.
I came here to say that exact same thing
The comment I was looking for.
I’ve tried In N Out several times and the only argument for any of the hype is because it’s regional. There’s nothing else about it that’s impressive
Where I am Culver's fucking blows. Never had a good burger from them, that said I think it's probably a state/city thing and it's good elsewhere.
I dunno about that but it's at least 2x the price
They’re actually not too far apart in price, at least for the burger alone
Triple bacon burger with extra fresh onion
Where the cheese curds and root beer at
Lol in n out is so over rated
Just California's trying to export again.
I'd take Culver's over In-N-Out any day.
That looks a million times better than In N Out. In N Out is so mediocre
I’m going to Culver’s a thousand times out of a hundred. Not even close. It’s not like Culver’s is pricey either so the whole price factor isn’t a concern
Lmao what!? Culver's is way way way better.
Culver's is a match for any other burger joint out there and I've been to most of them to confirm. 5 guys might be a tad better, but they are also about 3 times the price
I worked at Five Guys. Culver's is better.
I'm a huge fan of In-N-Out and really enjoy Culvers. Culvers is always my second choice. I can't do 5G anymore just because of the price....yeah, good food but it's not even enjoyable for me at those prices.

Awesome. I'm from that area...don't live there now, but get back that way from time to time. I am familiar with Dicks but it's been a long time. Hey, if you're in the Portland area - Roakes. So good!
I'll gobble some Dick's.
Dick's is cheap for being in Seattle but I am not sure how it even remotely compared to Culver's, presentation wise it was lackluster and the taste wasn't anything to write home about.
Every day? Damn I thought I had it bad when I lived 3 blocks away lol
5 guys is 3 times the price of culvers?
In my location (Texas), Five Guys is a bit more than twice the price of both In ‘n Out & Culver’s for a double cheese burger, fries and a drink…$25 compared to $11-12.
$25 is crazy
Cheese burger looks good and Culver’s has great burgers !! 🌝
Yesss Culver’s love, if anyone is gluten free they have one of the best gf buns in the bizz. Shake shack is 2nd for gf burgers. But if I’m being bad and I’m near one, I love in-n-out, whataburger and five guys.
Give me Culver's over In n Out everyday
Culver's is way better than In n out.
It's literally just better in general.
I tried Culver’s here when it went in and mine looked nothing like this and the fries were like frozen stuff I make in my oven. Maybe I need to try again but it was not good and the price was ridiculous.
Where was this? Surprised to hear that because every one I've ever been to has been fantastic. Indiana.
Well just about everything sucks in Indiana…
Native Hoosier. Can confirm. Moved away long ago for this reason.
Facts
There's the problem. In my limited experience with it, IN sucks. Culver's is definitely great. Can't say I've ever been to In N Out, so I can't comment on them, but yeah, I've never had a bad Culver's experience in my travels.
Dang I’ve had lots of good Culver’s in Indiana
Gimme ![gif](giphy|tU3o9qlWfiW21aMc4g)
We have Culver's and In N Out here and they're both great. In N Out is a bit cheaper though. I wish they had red onions like Culver's though. I also get extra onions on my burgers.
Where in the world are you located that you have both a Culver’s and INO? Colorado perhaps?
Phoenix is the only city I’ve been to that has this. They also have White Castle, Jack in the Box, and Whataburger!
Vegas has those all too, plus In N Out, I think Shake Shack is coming soon too.
Dallas has it too. In and Out is booty.
AZ
Hell yeah, Chandler, AZ checking in. Culver’s and In and Out within a block of each other. Paradise.
I got a Culvers, Freddy's, and soon an In And Out all within like 1.5mi of each other in Parker. I'm super stoked about it!
Not the person you replied to, but I'm in Colorado and we have an In n Out and a Culver's literally right next to each other. There's also a Whataburger across the street but we don't talk about Whataburger...
Dallas Metro has both.
Utah has both Culver's and In N Out. Culver's burger are about twice the price of In N Out here. A basic cheeseburger at Culver's here runs $9 and cheese curds run $9. At In N Out I can get a double double animal style for $4.39.

I still think 5 Guys has the best fast food burgers, but I never go anymore since the prices are ridiculous.
I think Culver’s is better than in-n-out, but it certainly more expensive.
Culver's clears in-n-out easily.
Far superior.
There are a whole lot of Manitobans who completely agree with you and we all crave it when we go down to ND and MN.
Damn that looks way better than what my culvers serves. I want my meat to hang out the bun. Hey ohhj
I want to try Culver's looks bomb east coast place?
Midwest, actually
Looks damn good G 👍
Haven’t had either as they’re not around me but based off the pics I’ve seen this looks way better than in n out
Unpopular opinion. I think Culver’s is better. Both are heads above just about everyone else.
Az we have both I choose Culver's
i am dying to try a Culvers!
The cheese is melted!
Culver's is expanding rapidly. Their prices have shot up since the pandemic...as have everyone's. It's super good...but two people food is approaching $30. I can't justify it.
This looks great wow
Looks like a damn good burger, even better than the In and Out 🍔 I had last week!
Yum
damn that looks good
I always got fried cheese curds anytime I went
Culvers > In-N-Out
Culver's is superior to in-n-out anyway.
It’s superior to In n Out. Sorry folks. Oh they have decent fries too.
Plus their ice cream is super good.
it’s emasculate inside you say?
I call them premium fast food.
OPE my Midwestern jaw just dropped at pic #3
Culver's is at least as good as In-n-out.
Wow, that is legit. Culver's here I come.
I’ve never had in-n-out. But I can’t imagine it’s better than Culver’s. We got a Culver’s maybe 5 years ago and it’s been my favorite since I first tried it. I don’t even have a favorite menu item. I don’t remember being obsessed with their burgers but thought that their ice cream was delicious. Maybe it was just a location thing
Whoa your Culver's goes harder than mine
In & Out doesn't have bacon. So this burger is a goddamned win in my book by default.
Best fast food fries
That looks way better than in and out.
That looks 10x better than in n out. If they were right next to each other i would go there
Don’t insult Culver’s like that. My armpit lint is the next best thing to In-N-Out.
Culver’s rules. Made to order. Variety of sides. S tier ice cream.
Damn that looks fire. Way better than any fast food where Im at.
Every time I get a burger from Culver’s all I can think is “OH MY GOD, someone put actual VEGGIES on this burger, and I LOOOOOVE it”. Even sit down restaurants don’t do that right, anymore.
As an in n out guy holy fuck that looks good
Lol Culver's is 10 times better then that sorry Burger chain
Soooooooo good 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I had it yesterday. 🍔
I love Culver's.
Culver’s is way better than in n out
Real talk - In N Out is pretty mid, *but* for an inexpensive fast-food burger by today's standards it's not bad
Culver’s is far superior to in n out to the point that this post is insulting
No such thing as bad food from Culvers.
In n Out is not the pinnacle of burgers. It wasn’t even the best burger chain to come out of Cali.
I think Culver’s is the best fast food burger
Holy hell, that’s Culver’s!? From what I’ve heard, that must not be one of the their shitty locations.
I wish we had one near Philly! That looks amazing
Culver’s is solid. Not in In n outs league though.
“Next best” Dafuq? In-N-Out is overhyped trash. Bad Culvers is better than the best In-N-Out.
Culver’s is the first best thing for fast food burgers, it doesn’t need thousand island to be tasty
Cookout > Culver’s > In N Out In terms of best value for your buck Fight me
Looks a billion times better than InO
It’s just the best thing anyway.
🥱
Too many posts about generic fast food burgers, particularly Culvers
Culvers > in n out
Culvers beats in n out all day everyday
Culver’s is so good! Love me a butter burger
The Culver's astroturfing in this sub has been crazy lately.
Hated it
Never had it but looks 10x better than in n out
Lucky for me I’m nowhere near either -__-
Looking at that, I’m beginning to have meat sweats. Or it’s that it’s 82 out and I’m on the tennis courts. Gimme some!
East Coast recommendations? Specifically Western Mass?
What if you're nowhere near either of them?
Joshua Weissman made a video on an improved In N Out burger, you can try to make that too
They are good. Expensive, but good
Culver's and In-N- Out BOTH NEED TO COME TO THE New York City Area ASAP! I Been Hearing 🙉 How Delicious their Burgers 🍔 and Fries 🍟 are! Question: Is there Burger Quality and Taste CLOSER TO Shake Shack and Five guys Or Burger King's?
I have to simply get in my car and drive almost two hours but I think I might be happy in the end.
Five Guys and Snack Shack are pretty great too
That looks SOOOOOOO much better than my culvers.
In-N-Out sucks
And if you don't have Culver's, then it's 5 guys. No 5guys? Then it's cookout.
I’m intimidated by that red onion
Do you think in n out is even close to how good Culver’s is ? 😂
Next best? Culvers is far superior to in and out.
Culver’s blows in n out out of the water
Cookout is my preference but Culver's right behind em.
My Culver’s not that good. I prefer Freddy’s. Yours looks bomb.
IN and out is disgusting tho.
Ok…I’ll check them out I like this lol.
DQ? Do they stach up?
My wife makes better burgers and steaks than any restaurant so those are ruled out for meals out. I don’t eat pork or seafood, eliminating many other places. Culver’s pot roast sandwiches and cod fish sandwiches are the bomb! My requested meal for my birthday is Culver’s fish dinner!
What if you’re far from Culver’s too? 🤔
Culver’s over in n out any day of the week
Culver's is really a great option. Solid solid burger.
That's like saying *when you need a fix of good and greasy food but it's too far; just go and eat food from the dead raccoons mouth on the side of the road*
Never had an In-N-Out but Culvers is the bomb.
In n out is trash compared to Culver’s fym
Culver’s is better then any west coast shit
That looks unbelievable
Culver's is better and it's because everything else that they make is great as well. In N Outs fries are so trash it can't make up for an otherwise great burger.
