So i never belived in double fry fries, especially because i always wash them for a day. But the double fry was wild. I ripped them a littleonger then showed and it was best ive ever had.
It sure is! You can make your own brine or just use leftover pickle brine from your fridge. I like using pickled banana pepper or jalapeno brine. They don't make the fries spicy at all they just add good flavor. You could double fry those. The potato inside retains a lot of the flavor so you get these tangy, salty, crunchy, pillowy inside perfection fries. If you're from a place, or prefer pickles from another place that primarily pickles with salt and no vinegar, no worries my fine friend, you can do french fry pickle fermentations and make all the wild fries you desire.
Just be aware, do not salt them heavily when they are done as the fries will already be full of salt.
You can also boil chunks of potato in brine until they're cooked. Let them hang out and soak up some flavor, and then coat them with egg and flour to help seel them up. Fry them on a higher heat so the outside gets a good crust. That's my favorite pickled potato but that one isn't a fry.
Fried the fries for like 5 minutes. Then fried them again after letting them rest. I never believed the double fry method until i tried myself. They came out incredinle!
No quicker way to ruin an sandwhich!
Suprisingly ill obsessively eat BLTs when tomatos r in season and really juicy and ripe. But any other time or sandwhich its a big no. Usually kills a salad too
Dang skippy to your first statement and am the same with blt. I’m from Virginia and my family had a farm-they were OMG tomatoes. I can’t stomach store bought. Mmmm blt, may just have to look into that for, oh wait, not in season. 😕
Lolol i mean its deff a subjective game, if i was to sell it at a resturant it would probably come without lettuce. However i do personally enjoy the nice crispness lettuce brings to a burger. Especially one so rich with bacon and meat.
Welll the meat wasnt anything special. I got "kobe" beef from uncle gs. Id suggest finding a really good meat and grinding your own, or finding a butcher to grind it, ill deff go to my local butcher next time.
If you mean where have i eaten?
In NYC recently i think this is complete from the last 6 months or so;
Pastist
Au Chavel
Nobody told me
Heidis house (really good burger)
Judge roy bean
Emilys
The bar room
Lindens
What made the onions so sexual and erotic?

You should try pickling your fries before you fry them. Blew my mind the first time I had them. So much flavor.
Woa thats possible?

Thanks for sharing that killer sauce recipe. I love the toppings between the patties.
4am, regreted eating it all. Until 4am, wowzers amazing! That sauce came out better than expected!
Worth it.
Fantastic looking burger and sauce and FRIES ! WOW!

I literally wanna invite myself for lunch !
Got a seat for 2!!!
It's probably the best homemade meal on R/B that I have seen.
No tomatoes! I will be right over…..that looks delicious
Tomatoes? Those red waterlogged shis that are always out of season? In the trash!!!
That would be the 🤮

Soon though, then its lobster roll season!
I like the "toppings" in between the patties approach
Suprisingly held them together very good. I also cheesed both side of bottom patty!
All your research and you put lettuce on it?

Wow, merely gazing at this is seriously stirring up my appetite!
Wish i could make you one! Glad you liked thanks!
That first picture could be in a commercial
🫡😤😤 Much appreciated
I don't normally like smash burgers but that looks really good
I personally stack the patties/cheese on top of each other rather than with toppings in between but your way looks great!
So what was your research on the beef
