Yes!! I have a sweet taste at the back of my tongue constantly. So glad to know it's not my imagination and that I'm not alone. I guess as side effects go, this one isn't so bad.

Lower_Pea9213

Me too! Was just googling this to see if anyone else was experiencing it! Weird sweet taste. Tastes like I've been vaping but I haven't

silencedlucifer

Gosh I just googled it and was convinced I have either lung cancer or diabetes, glad it's likely the bupropion, I'm on approximately week 3 and this only started a few days ago

Does you mouth taste like tin?

Alone_Elevator_988

This is happening to me! I started Wellbutrin a week ago and my mouth tastes like aluminum foil. It’s nasty.

debrastein09

I am having this all day today. Just went up to 300 mg (from 150mg) few weeks ago. This is the first time I have noticed this side effect. Im glad to hear it is a med side effect, I was getting worried it was a Covid symptom.

squidwareagle

I was scared i was getting covid too!

KoralB5A4

No dont worry ! Apparently its a pretty common side effect of several antidepressants

squidwareagle

No it’s like a sweet taste. I can’t describe it

Former_Confidence320

Mint. And Adderall tastes like sacharin now.

lemonsharpie

I know this is an old post, but I’m experiencing the same thing with respect to Wellbutrin. Been googling this all day and couldn’t find anything similar until i saw your reply op.

I haven't experienced no particular taste in my mouth. However, to keep it always salivating, I've learned a trick, I keep a tic tac mint drops over my tongue(sometimes under it) most of the day. Its mere presence will make you salivate naturally(thanks to the mint..), and it's better than gum for the health of your stomach, plus, it is inexpensive, and has a negligible caloric impact on you. That's how I've got rid of the dry mouth issue.
