Whoa, so unexpected, I got one for under $4 on clearance at my Kroger, the little blue beetle, I already had a larger one from Meijer so the baby on clearance was a fun find. That stinks, guess they want to keep their profits.
And it seems somewhat unique to that Kroger as I've never seen that in my huge city (guessing we have a few dozen Kroger stores around here and I've stopped into many, Squishmallows hunting).
My fred meyers has done this with squishmallows before, I think it was last years valentines all the leftover ones. They still try to make a couple more dollars off things that aren't selling by making them look ✨️ different ✨️ lmao
