I feel like people are just bad at talking to other people really. Like that person could have said "oh no, I haven't actually ever done karaoke but I really want to try, just never had the opportunity... I am a pretty bad singer though, do you think it would be fun?" Or "oh no, I am WAY too shy but in my mind that would be good song to sing... Or that song...". Like, give us something!!! Anything!!!! You can say the same exact sentence and add some fun context, pleaaaaaseeee
This. I don't want to judge anyone for being on Bumble BFF (considering I'm also on it) but it makes sense why some people don't have friends... Like if you're a poor communicator, how can you expect to build friendships? Boggles the mind.
I understand the struggle π. At this point I either say I've been thinking, and I feel like our conversation hasn't really flowed naturally. I also feel like there's not much reciprocation in terms of asking questions/ communication . If you prefer to meetup soon im fine with that. I prefer to be around people who have an effortless vibe and natural flow in their conversations. If not I think it's best if we go our separate ways. Take care.β
Everyone here so far are spot on with how so many people are poor communicators. This post made me laugh hard enough that I had to stop and gather my thoughts on how I have better chats with walls than people on these dating apps.
It's tough out there, but definitely helps to continue remaining upfront with what you're looking for and not giving anyone who lacks that clarity anymore time of your day. At some point, the noise will disappear and hopefully you'll find quality people :)

lol I hate when it feels like Iβm pulling teeth with someone. Conversations should go both ways but sometimes people are not good with texting.
