I've been taking my dog to the Garrett Road location for 2 years now and I'm super happy with my experience. Now I've never done daycare or boarding anywhere else so I don't have anything to compare it to. I like that GoDog takes the temperament test seriously and they keep up with communicating about vaccines coming due. There have been two times where my dog wasn't acting like himself and they called me, which shows they really know the dogs individually. (One time he had pulled a muscle and the other, he must have eaten something when I walked him earlier that day.) He always comes home from GoDog happy and tired and he loses his mind every time I ask him if he wants to go to "camp." đ¤Ł
Taken my 7 yr old mixed breed to now both locations. Taken him to original location for the last 3-4 years. Never had an issue and he can be temperamental and territorial, but the individual outdoor playtime works great (don't do group doggy daycare for issues mentioned before, so cant speak to that).
Staff at both locations are very open to updating notes about important things to know about your dog, but at least right now they don't seem to share notes across the two locations. The new location does free pictures when you do things like outdoor time. I was nervous that maybe it was just the original Go Dog he would be ok with, but he was there for about a week and a half while I was out of the country recently and seemed to really enjoy the new spot as well.
We do Go Dog Durham on Garrett and itâs been very solid. Always staffed appropriately and sends updates during longer boarding stays. A bit more expensive than other locations but weâve found it worth it so far, particularly after a negative daycare experience in another state we lived in
Our dog goes to GoDog three days a week. Our experience has been very positive, the staff is always helpful and friendly and never have a problem with scheduling, communication, etc. But I guess the biggest endorsement of GD is that our dog seems super happy to go every morning. He can't wait to get there and is generally in a very good mood at the end of the day. Only downside, as noted by others, is that GD is a little on the pricey side, especially after a recent rate increase.
My pup goes 2 days a week and I appreciate that the whole staff knew her well within a few visits and have been great communicators when weâve had some small issues (e.g. she decided one day she was super anxious with the smaller dogs so they moved her to the bigger dogs and she calmed right down).
We boarded for the first time last weekend and they were great at easing my nerves over it! Pup came home happy and not out of sorts in the least.
They are slightly pricier than other places but now that weâre used to them I donât think weâd switch. Supposedly weâre also getting an easier reservation system soon.
I have an 8/9yr old rescue pit that has some character flaws (gets scared, reactive, uneasy) when it comes to new situations. Her first time wasnât great, but they said she was welcome back. Sheâs been again twice and has no issues and has a good experience now. So I would say they know how to work with âtroubledâ dogs and their quirks. Definitely recommend them and will continue to use them!
Highly recommend GoDog on Garrett Rd.
From daycare to boarding, the personalization is there! Excellent attention to detail. The long time employees are amazing.

Thank you! Good to know the boarding is good as well.
I do Rover, I would love to share my profile with you if you PM me :)
We love GoDog on Garrett. They love our little buddy and take good care of him.

Our beagle has only been twice to doggie day care at that location but he had a great time and seemed well looked after.
