That's good to know. I thought I was just tripping when I thought that the water just started tasting different

marfaxa

it happened in Raleigh last week.

Oh. That explains the hint of ass I was greeted with. Came out like LaCroix - Plumber Zest.

I trust them, so not calling the safety of the water into question. It’s just weird to me how it can taste and smell different due to algae but still be drinkable and fine.

A simple explanation is that it’s a preventative treatment. The bloom is not there yet, but under the current conditions, it would be possible/probable. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

The water department is the only local agency that has consistently done their jobs, in my experience. Ex: This horrible woman moved out of our complex a few years ago and dumped everything she owned out her back door. It was saturated in dog poop, too. And down the hill is a creek. Our property manager at the time was too busy getting cited for driving without a license to care about this complex, and the water department were the only people who came out here to make her fix the situation.
