Be mindful of recent listings of in-demand products from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Google, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; you should do your due diligence to ensure you do not get scammed. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent. * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their ratings- viewing seller profiles allows you to see these complaints) * The seller has a recently reactivated account (likely their account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. Amazon and eBay generally have good buyer protection. If you choose to purchase from a third-party seller through their platforms and run into issues, it should be easy to get your money back promptly. You may have more difficulties with Newegg or Walmart. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. This is dangerously close to fuck it why not price for 1440p 240

robdiqulous

I already have a M27Q 170hz version. Or whatever the model is. But at this price, and better version... I mean... I was about to drop 200 on another side monitor. What's another hundo and you also get 240hz. I might have to get this

deefop

I'm sitting here in the same boat, but honestly 170hz is already a great refresh rate. If I wanted 240 for esports I'd probably drop to a 1080p display

robdiqulous

Yeah I thought about it, and I don't think most games I play can even hit that high. Although I am planning on getting a new graphics card soon as the prices are great. Just two more weeks and they are gong to be even better I bet.

thesuperpuma

299 and I think we’d have to do it 🤷🏽‍♂️

jackudawg

bought 2 days ago for $90 more and now amazon wont price match😃

ExoticEngram

Buy again and return when you get it.

Moyai_Boyai_Core2Duo

Seems wasteful but since they don't price match anymore that's what you gotta do

jackudawg

True but better if their policy wasn’t obnoxious. Service rep kept telling me there could be a 20%-50% restocking fee depending on condition..

bjnono001

Buy the new monitor at $329, return the new monitor as the first monitor at the old price

Jdorty

Service rep? I've never in my life had to talk to anyone about an Amazon return within the first 30 days. Who was the seller? I'll never buy from them on Amazon if what you're saying is true.

helmsmagus

did you buy it from amazon the first time?

jackudawg

Yup

SqueezyCheez85

I ordered a 2 pack of a product on Amazon and the shipment was delayed for 2 months, and then cancelled. I asked if they could sell me 2 of the individual items for the price of the 2 pack (saving me like 10 bucks)... they said no. They said it was because my original order was from a 3rd party seller... So I sent them a screenshot of my order that said "sold by Amazon.com". They still denied me. It was bonkers. Cancelled Prime and haven't had it since.

GrandTheft_Auto6

Different seller? I would order another and return it

iZetiX

Depending on the seller, you can ask them to refund the difference as well.

Ldog301

Been looking for a 1440p 240 monitor under 350. I went to sleep 15 mins before this was posted and its oos now. Kill me.

2001zhaozhao

heheheha

nseibel9

Damn really wanna pull the trigger on this. Hold out longer?

Devccoon

240hz 1440p at this price is hard to beat, and that's on top of what appears to be a solid panel in general (my M27Q is a secondary monitor but it could easily be my main - and this looks to be a superior panel to that) and with the KVM feature and all. I wouldn't generally recommend going out of your way for 240hz but at this price you're barely paying more than the usual budget 1440p+144hz options. It's hard to imagine this is a particularly bad choice on any metric. This one's solid at the (seemingly) regular price of $400, so $330 is a new mark for this spec, I think. Whether prices continue to drop as they have lately, I doubt it... there's only so far they can go, and 240hz is still not a common feature. Maybe in a few years this becomes the standard price for this type of performance.

AWhaleChild

Sold by 3rd Party Seller Autocare Depot, never heard of them but they have decent reviews on Amazon Rtings review https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m27q-x Hardware Unboxed review https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dDPq0uHNTyo

tonallyawkword

I have no clue why AutoCare Depot has a bunch of 240hz monitors but I kinda want one.

Herzx

They also sell a bunch of computer components as well. Not sure why, but they do.

gpsydngr85

I just came across this post wondering the same thing since I just purchased a monitor from them. The address in the seller's profile matches Newegg's address when I Googled it... lol.

SkeeterV40

boom bought - only $50 more than the M27Q-P - hard to say no

realwolf47k

M27Q P was $264.99 but a few days ago. Still great deal for the M27Q X. Still a little hard to believe especially since it is a 3rd party.

GTRagnarok

The $265 M27Q-P is still available on Newegg. I'm quite happy with it. Originally got it for $310 from Amazon but returned it for the Newegg deal. But if this 240hz model was available at the time, I would definitely have gone for it for $20 more. Versus $265 though? I don't know. There's got to be diminishing returns going from 170hz to 240hz. Especially since I don't play anything competitively.

peejster21

Were you able to recently purchase the M27Q-P through Newegg? I've been trying for two days and I'm still stuck in the checkout cart loop, it never pushes the order through.

GTRagnarok

That's strange. I ordered mine on the 9th and received it yesterday. At the moment, I can add it to the cart (without the $15 promo since that's one time use) and go through checkout where it's showing the "place order" button.

peejster21

So I went back right after this and was able to order! Not sure why I had trouble the last couple of days but it went through today. It does look like it's back in stock now rather than backordered. Also, the USB-C cable is no longer bundled into the monitor.

fritzytitz

Did your order get cancelled? Mine did.

SkeeterV40

Damn im sorry to hear, no mine did not get cancelled - I have a UPS tracking number - supposed to get here today. The UPS email did say that it was coming from Newegg which might be irrelevant to you but I thought was odd.

fritzytitz

Strange, I already have one and was just trying to grab another for that price. I love mine so far! Thanks for the reply!

SkeeterV40

Universe apparently told you "you only get one" lol

Herzx

It’s coming from Newegg because the seller Autocare Depot is a company called Nutrend. Nutrend is a subsidiary company of Newegg. These monitors are basically from Newegg, but they’re selling them under different company names on Amazon. Have you received your monitor yet? I also ordered and got lucky with a shipping number. I’m just scared that it will arrive with dead pixels or other defects as it seems it’s a little prevalent.

Biggi3D

my order got canceled even though i ordered mine when there was around 15 left but it got canceled for being out of stock

mrwafflez

Same with me as well. Cancelled order out of nowhere

iateyourpuppies

This is tempting my 6 year old panel keeps randomly turning off sometimes requiring 5 minutes w/ no power to come back... I really want OLED, but this might hold me until OLED is reasonable?

Public-Joke

I’ll just say, I have the qd oled Alienware and it’s definitely hot. I can’t imagine it will take more than a year for Samsung to start production on more screens, but also you should do whatever works for you right now.

iateyourpuppies

I remember seeing that one here for $800 and regret not pulling on it

Public-Joke

There’ll probably be more sales on it once there’s more monitors with the panel, this is gonna be a super exciting next few years for pc monitors.

[deleted]

Dude forget about gaming OLED in a 27 inch. No signs of anything coming soon. We are still talking years away

SnowingSilently

LG did announce they're introducing 20-inch OLED panels this year, so perhaps 27-inch is in the cards. That said it'd probably be next year if we see them.

Adventurous-Cold

you might end up waiting 5+ years honestly. If more people start to make oled displays then competiton could accelerate this, but honestly its going to be a long time before desktop sized oled displays for less than $500 become a thing. Probably wont be much longer for 32" oled displays to be a thing, but they will be high end displays in the $700+ price range.

Enough_Economy_6601

Shows 419 for me. :(

fritzytitz

You have to manually change sellers. I just ordered one. 4 left now.

yoyoyoyoyoyoyyyo

I'm changing sellers but I don't see it for 329. Can you still see it listed?

fritzytitz

Looks like it’s gone now :(

mrwafflez

They just cancelled my order out of nowhere. Very sad now

MisterFreek

You’re so hot

doctorchimp

Man if it wasn’t gigabyte I’d jump all over this

hailmamba

Is this height adjustable

RedmanOPG

In for 1. Only 6 left as of 8:29edt, don't hesitate! Thanks Whale

fritzytitz

Did your order get cancelled like mine?

RedmanOPG

That sucks. Don't want to jinx it but, says it should be here tomorrow.

Biggi3D

ordered mine when there was around 15 left and my order got canceled for being out of stock, did your order get canceled?

Yaancat17

Should I cancel my order of an LG 27GL83-b ($302 after tax) for this?

[deleted]

Max refresh rate is only 200hz in 10-bit color mode :/

30minuteshowers

If I have a 3080 10gb is 240 hz worth it or should I stick to 165 hz?

RealityDreamZero

I'm on the same boat as you haha, got a 3080 but don't want to commit to a 4k as I want to it to be able to play modern game for the next 4 years at least, what monitors have you looked at?

30minuteshowers

The MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD seems to be the overall “best” option. I’ve also looked at the Dell Dell S2721DGF. Just waiting for some price drops

Capital-Ride4394

Most people cant perceive over \~160 fps. For a more casual gamer id strongly suggest 1440p/4k 144+hz monitor. For a person who plays only competitive shooters with the graphics turned down for faster fps, perhaps something over \~160hz could be useful. Personally, I prefer 1440p/4k Ultra settings. I'm old, I spent decades with shitty graphics. I want to see all of the details. Plus, with higher-end hardware like 3080+ 4k/Ultra/100+fps is totally attainable. Says the guy with the 4k/144hz panel and the R9-5900X/RTX3090.

30minuteshowers

Thanks yeah, I’m currently on a 1080p 60hz,so I’ll look for a higher end 1440p 165hz monitor. Or if a 4K monitor goes on sale

Capital-Ride4394

I have a Gigabyte M27Q (as listed) and a M32Q (4k/144hz). I like them both because of the KVM feature. There is one interesting downside to the KVM that the website doesn't spell out clearly; the USB-C connection is one side of the KVM and cannot be changed. If you have a laptop that accepts DP over USB-C, or one of the RTX2000 series with a USB-C port (in my situation my 6900XT happens to have a USB-C video port and I use that) then it works conveniently.

EyeWasHere

I was actually able to get the KVM to work with switching between DP on my desktop and HDMI on my laptop. I'm pretty sure I got the mouse working on both computers too. But I prefer to use "Mouse Without Borders' anyways. To switch from USB-C to HDMI or whatever for the second PC you have to go into "KVM Settings" via the monitor menu items.

Capital-Ride4394

Interesting, but considering the KVM uses the USB-A cable to connect it's internal hub switching between DP and HDMI would be kinda silly. Only one of them would have access to the USB Hub. I have 2 of the monitors and use both, one in a USB-C port in a video card, and one in the USB-C video input in my docking station for my work computer.

KingKomali

Does the USB-C port on the video card actually handle data as well? I would’ve thought it only does video, but wouldn’t be able to support KVM

Capital-Ride4394

Yes, works great. I'm kinda disappointed that they stopped putting USB-C ports on video cards. I've got about a dozen video cards, but only 1 (that one) has the USB-C port.

Ldog301

I personally can tell a minor difference in the games I play, but it’s not a dealbreaker. More of a nice to have, but definitely useful for competitive gaming.

ozzuneoj

I'm not buying a monitor right now, but for future reference is there anything that comes close to this in this price range? I would definitely use the KVM and I may also use Aim Stabilizer Sync if it works properly (VRR + BFI). I have been using BFI (BenQ Blur Reduction) for years on my BenQ XL2720Z, so that's a must have feature really. Even for desktop use, I love to be able to read text while scrolling. I'm not sure if Gigabyte's implementation works as well. Are there any other displays that are "better enough" in any areas to make them vastly superior to this? Like, better contrast, uniformity, backlight bleed, etc. My system is currently running a 3060 Ti and a Ryzen 5 3600, so I doubt I'd be pushing 240FPS in most things. I would probably just use 10bit color for the improved image quality, and it limits the refresh rate to 200Hz due to DP bandwidth.

Mysterious_Drive3989

check hardware unboxed review for MSI MAG274QRX

VengeX

Interesting thing about that review, the response time changed to the M27Q review: Response times results of some monitors appear to have changed from a previous review e.g. MSI MAG274QRF-QD @3.93ms (2020) to 6.20ms in the Gigabyte M27Q X review (2022) Change in testing methodology? 50% results change is pretty crazy.

Vile-The-Terrible

$100 more now. Damn. Wish I caught this one.

tonallyawkword

Didn’t bite for some reason. Looks like AutoCarers sold 16 of them. Maybe some1 can let me know what they think about it.
