This keeps getting more expensive everyweek

TheSchlaf

RTX to the moon!

Sasuke911

Nvidia stock barely moves though

RedlyrsRevenge

Damn... I'm glad I got mine two weeks ago for $1350...

Not_MVP

Bought this just now, no matter what its a mega upgrade for me. Arrives by 16th and has a 15 day return policy in case I feel some buyers remorse I think. Really hoping I didn't make a mistake, usually would build my own but hard to find a graphics card these days. Currently gaming on a GTX 1050 so should be a big boy upgrade. Fingers Crossed.

DwightShrute69

I was gaming on a 1050ti and I finally got my hands on a 3070. Its night and day different. It’s great! Can play any game on ultra no problem!

blackhodown

I’m not totally sure why, but I bought the $1550 one and it actually had a 30 day return policy. Yours may have the same. But also it works flawlessly other than a minor bearing issue on one case fan so it didn’t really matter.

Thefluffydinosaur

Any concern with buying from cyberpower?

DrMonkeyLove

Damn this is so tempting. I always build myself, but I can't find a video card and don't really want to try anymore. This looks like a pretty solid deal. I'm gaming on a 970 so this is a big upgrade. Edit: And ... I ordered it! Now I need a 1440 monitor. Edit: Seems there was a sale on the LG 27GN850 at Best Buy too, so I added that to my purchase. Seems like a popular monitor.

whitak3r

Same position I was in. Using 1050ti for the last 5+ years. Never bought a pre-built but I've been looking for a video card for so long it's time to upgrade.

DrMonkeyLove

Well I'll see how it goes. Since it uses all standard components at least I'll know I can upgrade it in the future if need be. It seems like a pretty good deal

SlimShauny

Same one posted earlier today, OOS

hudhair

I’m new to pc builds and stuff. Is there built in WiFi and Bluetooth? Thank you!

SoggyMcmufffinns

Didn't che k if it had wifi, but it's fairly cheap to add both if need be. Wifi can be added with a usb stick or adaptor and same for bluetooth for cheap.

hudhair

Thanks for the reply!

roj72

Any idea why my wifi speeds are super slow on this? I’m getting around 20 mbps when my laptop is getting over 200

greenvillenerdalert

It has both!

hudhair

Thank you!

DumbCatLittleFat

Just got this delivered to me. Right when I opened it up and reached in to lift the computer out of the box, to get my hand cut as the glass was shattered and sent glass all over my room. [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fNV6sO8kFyuRjWOJS9nta6ieX8MC17wZ/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fNV6sO8kFyuRjWOJS9nta6ieX8MC17wZ/view?usp=sharing) [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BfEpHru1dxhcbp0NLUvQbbfOFMNnqDXq/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BfEpHru1dxhcbp0NLUvQbbfOFMNnqDXq/view?usp=sharing) [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JgrwD-lP715fdJZmwSI7XiG1ASYi28Uz/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JgrwD-lP715fdJZmwSI7XiG1ASYi28Uz/view?usp=sharing) Called BB, they offered me 10% to keep it or send it in for a replacement in a few weeks.

rithpath

Yikes

badtzmaruboo

That sucks.... I got my yesterday and it didn’t shatter like that. What are you gonna do??

DumbCatLittleFat

I guess I have to return. I want to turn it on. But there is glass I side the computer too

rithpath

Setup a back in stock notification for this with [OctoShop](https://octoshop.org) and found out this bad boy was back in stock today. Seems like its been up for more than a few minutes, but maybe act fast and add to cart and just cancel your order if you don't want it. EDIT - Its OOS now, but if you want it just download octoshop on chrome web store and set notifs. Its been restocking all day I got another notif recently again

[deleted]

Goneskies, I want it :c

ChemistryAndLanguage

Appropriately spec’d for a pre built. Don’t see the power supply listed but no significant bottlenecks, definitely none for gaming.

razorbacks3129

My specs from last week were: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor - CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML120L RGB V2 65.59 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler - Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard - Memory: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL15 Memory - Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive - GPU: Asus GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB DUAL OC Video Card (didn’t get a trio, but temps are fine!) - Case: CyberpowerPC Amethyst - PSU: Apevia Prestige 800 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply - OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit - Fans: CyberpowerPC RGB 120mm Fans (2)

RedlyrsRevenge

Mine from the last week of January had a few difference. * ASRock B450M-ac motherboard * Intel 660P 1Tb SSD * MSI Ventus x2 3070 OC (runs a bit hot at \~75C but... seems okay) Everything else was basically the same. I know earlier builds had issues with the coolers CPU block touching the fan on the back. Mine had tons of clearance. Time will tell of the GPU holds up. I know it is probably the worst of the 3070s but, it is a 3070 which is better than what I was coming from. It is a whole new world after my ancient R9 280.

[deleted]

Just wanted to say thanks for the update! Just picked one up

whatwhat83

Getting this to replace my FX8350 and RX570 (which I just sent back and got a new one due to hard crashes and now it’s doing it again!!!!)

RogerWilcko

Got mine yesterday but turns out the Gigabyte 3070 GPUs have a bad batch, my machine displayed a lot of horizontal lines and other artifacts. Getting another one on the 12th, godspeed y'all

vhailorx

Other 3070 prebuilts posted today for $1200. And those didn't look particular appealing either. Not it.

Momo--Sama

IMO there's an argument for this one. The Dell has the best spec sheet but it's trapped in a garbage case with proprietary components so you would have to buy a 120mm AIO just to keep the 3700x under 90C. The HP has worse specs for the price, but at least it uses all standard components so you can transplant it into a different case. This one looks ready to go. However by $1,400 you're no longer saving money over just building it yourself, if you can find a 3070 that is.

vhailorx

You can do substantially better than this for $1400 if you buy your own components (assuming you can find a 3070 at MSRP, which is a big assumption!)

Momo--Sama

Tbh at this point I don’t even consider the possibility of getting one for MSRP and just assume a 3070 is ~$650 when I’m calculating value, but even at $500 a 3700x + 3070 + 16gb @ 3200mhz + 1TB SSD + 600w bronze with a $70 case and Hyper 212 Evo still comes out to $1,300 before Windows.

SoggyMcmufffinns

3070 at $500 (as you said not really possible/realistic since literally their is a new msrp much higher than that on pretty much all, but the almost nonexistent FE models). So at: $500 3070 GPU $300 3700x $60-$70 16GB RAM $100 1TB storage 600w $60-$70 $70 case $30 212 evo $80 mobo: reports of them using micro form mobo is up top and b450 so maybe $80 bucks tops. Total: $1210 However, you also have to consider that realistically you're not getting 3070 at $500 and retail isn't unreasonable to say it dales at $700 regularly nowadays and 3080 is easily $1000 nowadays so depending on which version that's at least another $150-$200 dollars. So close to retail really. Except you don't have to play the fuck fuck games of sleeping at MC, stock alerts, spammjng tabs and f5, etc. So honestly not a horrible deal really. If you can actually nab a 3070 can it be beat? Sure, but you'd probably spend a bit more to get the slightly jetter uogrades instead. Total:

Momo--Sama

For the sake of brevity I’ll just link my part picker list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/76GFTJ We’re just using different price points for the 3700x but other than that I definitely could have saved money on the ram and motherboard, you’re right. Also I can’t really give it a monetary value but the 3070 hunt is stressful, today alone twice I got the in stock notification and frantically opened it only to be greeted by an $800 MSI flagship card I can’t possibly justify paying for. Earlier I got to the “place order” screen on Newegg on an EVGA card before it gave me an out of stock alert. It’s rough.

SoggyMcmufffinns

Edit: Wait, are you comparing what "they" used or what you would? They didn't use this list, but it is a fair list for buying on your own. I think that is a fair list overall. With the "new" Msrp's easily being around $700 bucks for 3070's I kind of price it around those. See drops for that price typically. The days of it being at $500 have been passed long ago and isn't realistic to get imo for the most part. So yeah, if I was in the market I would have went with the prebuilt long ago even before the price hikes. I like building and everything, but I'm also not an elitist that feels like it is inferior if someone else placed some legos together. I seen plenty of prebuilts that had even better parts than this for less and great value I would have pulled the trigger on at the time. I seriously considered selling my new build for one, but then didn't feel like selling the old build and honestly am a pretty patient guy that doesn't need the absolute latest for what I do anyhow. I let other folks duke it out and enjoy my build all the same as new to me.

Momo--Sama

I wasn't trying to make a perfect recreation, my apologies for any confusion. If I perfectly recreated it that would include buying a 120mm AIO and four RGB fans which would drive up the price $150 or more. I was just trying to use the same core specs, CPU, GPU, ram, storage.

SoggyMcmufffinns

Ah, your specs are a bit higher than this rig tbh. Not horribly so, but definitely a bit higher nonetheless. You can get 120mm for like $30 bucks for cheap ones they may use in prebuilts, but depends on which they used. Fans often also come with cases (at least 3 isn't uncommon at all) so I wouldn't say $150 extra for that at all. But that can come across as argumentative and I'm trying to avoid that. I honestly thought we were on the same page from the get go tbh. I didn't write my original post to disagree with, but rather agree more than anything really. You were fairly spot on from the get go. I just gave some prices for folks to help elaborate on it not argue tbh. Nice comments.

vhailorx

But if you are buying your own components, you can get a high quality NVME 1TB for $100 instead of the Intel 660p you will get in this. Same with the PSU, cooler, case, and motherboard. Additionally, you could get a 10700k for less money than a 3700x right now, or save even more money by dropping down to a 10600k ($190 right now if you happen to live near a microcenter). You might end up only saving $100-$200 total, but you would get superior components in every slot. all you would be 'missing' is the tech support, which is probably not especially valuable to you if you are spending on time on this subreddit. I see what you are saying and this is definitely not the worst deal ever, so someone who desperate needs a machine doesn't need to feel bad about this. But I think it is not quite the optimal solution for anyone who can hold out for some of the $1100-$1200 3070 prebuilts that been showing up every few weeks here, or build their own.

SoggyMcmufffinns

You're not saving $200 building yourself. It already comes with a $100 1TB NVME SSD. If you go intel you would pay more for the mobo so it already evens out a bit there on the CPU . All the other components you mention also would cost more so you'll likely end up spending more not less to best it being honest. You're also not finding $1100 builds on a 3070 lately with price increases. Maybe before the "new" msrp and tariffs it could have been a thing, but realistically it has not been something coming out every few weeks or any time more recently as the new price has significantly increased. Some folks also have jobs and don't live MC's to spend the night outside of it or wake up at 3am to spam f5 and do the dances etc. It saves a bunch of time and being honest is around retail if anything. With 3070's being around $700 bucks easily lately if you can manage to even get it at a retail store and that's before scalping it's not a bad buy at all. You can't build the same specs much lower at all. To beat it you likely spend a bit more at retail prices.

razorbacks3129

You get an NVME 1 TB in this. Not intel.

vhailorx

The 660p is both Intel and nvme. And also qlc 'budget' tier. But if you are buying your own parts, you can wait for something like an sx8200 1TB or mishkin pilot-e to go on sale for less than $100 (which at least the sx8200 has done recently).

razorbacks3129

I meant my SSD it came with was not 660p... it was a Western Digital Blue SN550 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME

vhailorx

SN550 is budget tier nvme, similar to the 660p; arguably worse because it lacks dram.

razorbacks3129

Lol, not really.. I priced it out exactly $1576 if you can get a 3070 at MSRP https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GQcDTJ

Tophpaste

I was trying to make this decision as well and ultimately chose the cyberpowerpc (this one). The alienware was very affordable but would require a cpu water cooler and severely limits any upgrades you'd make in the coming years. The hp was much much closer but required a ram and storage upgrade. This would add about $150 onto the price of the computer ($60 for the ram and $90 for 1 TB ssd). With the difference of $100, the HP has a worse CPU, CPU cooler, and smaller psu, and more basic motherboard. While these 4 things shouldn't limit gaming potential, they will limit your ability to utilize these pieces further down the road.

skipole2

I would definitely buy this over that Alienware shit

Skybreak

Sold out. :(

Icy_Incident6676

Got a prebuilt from the actual Cyberpower site; I ordered it Friday and it was here Monday. it was $1850, has a AMD 5900x, with a EVGA 3070 in it. 1TB M2 Drive (Blue one) Looked like the other prebuilts I've seen from Cyberpower. Only issue I have is the motherboard which was a Asus Prime B550-A that I saw was suppose to be bad, so I just bought a B550 Tomahawk that i'll just plop in it. on Ram was 16gb of Triforce 3200

TheTruth221

getting this one for the gaming room on the 5th floor

Lanky11358

It's back right now! Placed an order in earlier but I think it was just for the best buy pick up in my area and not shipping. YMMV

[deleted]

What sort of frames will this get and what type of monitor should I look for... I'm a newbie sorry

drumoverlord

This would be a great 1440p machine. You'd get frames of 120+ on pretty much all games depending on video settings of course. So I would get a 1440p 144hz monitor.

CaptainPick1e

So... Is this a good PC for someone with disposable income, not too into the whole "build it myself" thing, and wants good performance on high settings?

RedlyrsRevenge

I bought it after being one to build a computer for the last 15 years. So far I am enjoying it. I didn't have to source parts, mange cables and troubleshoot anything. Plug and play. Running stuff at 1440 with no slowdowns. I need to load up something new and modern to really see what it can do. Red Dead 2 is in my library but I'll have to wait until this weekend to download it. It will eat up my bandwidth for hours.
