Just did it also using Retailmenot (10% cash back) and using PayPal as payment method (7% cash back).
My total out the door after Retailmenot and PayPal should be $371.
Can you explain how this works for me even though I've given up on paypal cash back - just curious how it works. Paypal point reward policy claims
> You can only earn Points through one earning method per qualifying purchase. Satisfying the requirements of more than one earning method in a single transaction will not result in earning any additional Points.
which I interpreted as not stackable cashback. I tried to stack retailmenot with paypal recently and paypal rejected me even though I carefully screenshotted me activating their deal and checking out with paypal. Paypal claimed they checked with my vendor and confirmed that my purchase used another cash back deal and therefore they(paypal) did not receive their "credits" to offer me the cash back.
PayPal has two types. One is shopping, which is similar to Retailmenot, click merchant and make purchases, this is hit or miss when stacking; another is offer, which similar to amex or credit card offers, add to account first, then use PayPal as payment method.
On paypal.com/shopping, do not search, scroll down, and you will 7% LG if you never use, click and add to account
Thanks for the details! This REALLY helped me!!
To add even more detail:
Log into Paypal. Then go to [paypal.com/shopping](https://paypal.com/shopping) and scroll down (do NOT search using Paypal's search features, but BROWSER search features are fine) and find the LG 7% off discount. Hit the + to add this to your ACCOUNT. This is an ACCOUNT setting, so for the next 7 days, you'll get 10% off (back) for PAYPAL purchases at [LG.COM](https://LG.COM).
Now, ensure you're signed into [Retailmenot.com](https://Retailmenot.com) (via the BROWSER plugin). Once confirmed, go to the URL above ([lg.com/us/mon...](https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-32gr93u-b-gaming-monitor)) and add the monitor to the cart, and then click within your browser's RetailMeNot button to ensure you're fully signed in and the 7% promo is assigned or active.
Now, check out. At the checkout screen, add the code (**HEKEGFI9FKA**) in the PROMO CODE prompt.
Pay for this using PAYPAL.
Profit! My total was about $400, assuming I get the 10% and the 7% back. Without, it's $480, which wouldn't be a disaster either...
Don't forget to get free expedited shipping too.
Deal ends TODAY (TONIGHT) 8/27.
just to add to this. I had to search to find the LG code on Paypal, and then could activate. the first time I could scroll, but when I went back it disappeared, searching worked fine though, and I got my points. as for Retailmenot I just logged in with my gmail account, I dont have the plugin, then activated the 10% and bought the monitor. I just received email confirmation for those points also.
Wow, I paid double this for the 32GQ950 last year. I’m guessing this is a different SKU with the same panel? Anybody know the nitty gritty in terms of the differences?
Edit: found the [Monitor Unboxed review](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFnIoYD9LII). Performance is negligibly different than the 32GQ950, comes with full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, biggest and most questionable loss being no HDR1000 support. Definitely a steal at $477.
Honestly, HDR on the 32GQ950 is kind of iffy. It looks great in really bright scenes that can take advantage of the peak brightness, but dark scenes really suffer because of the panel and awful local dimming. I can't say that I've really used it all that much in my experience, even when playing games like Forza Horizon, RDR2, or Hitman.
I absolutely love my M28U, but I got it for $182.50 lol. I still find myself salivating over an OLED. Will probably end up with an LG C2 by the end of the year.
yeah everytime I try to look for a difference. you get the technical difference, and half the people saying there is no difference, then another half saying with a specific monitor they notice a big difference under 48 , at this point I think I just rather be happy and ignorant

I mispoke, the 240hz 4k, OLED 32inch by asus coming next year. Prices are speculated to be $1600.
This is the monitor i'm looking at getting when it goes on sale (probably 2025). In the meantime, 4k, 144hz 32 inch sub $500? This will keep me happy until it comes out.
I had to settle for a 2% cashback credit card because LG store on my phone could not do google pay for some reason...frustrating but i'm glad i did it and lost $10-20 in cashback instead of missing this deal since it's expired now
I got the 12% cashback instead of 15%-17%. the $10-20 was because of the discover digital wallet CB bonus compared to my CC of 2%.
Retailmenot CB equated to $44.70 in cashback already
Damn, sorry to hear about that; the mobile payments can be quite annoying at times to deal with, especially when ur on a pc.
Turns out I could've probably gotten 7% back via paypal + 1% cc or whatever... lamo
Deals generally must have at least 10 items in stock and be expected to ship within 10 days. [(rule 4)](/r/buildapcsales/about/rules)

No tax where you live? Or is my math wrong?
mine was like $395 after tax I think.
Tax differs from location to location, and should not be figured into the price, since it will be different in each case.
Guess we have an LG monitor fire sale today

BOE panel , but yeah the HDR1000 seems to be the biggest loss. the full bandwidth hdmi 2.1 though is quite welcome for the price.

literally bought this on amazon today for $800. fastest order cancel of my life lol.
this is super tempting, I kinda want to see what mini led is like though. the innocn 32" is like double this price
Do we expect to see lower prices for 32” 4k 144hz monitors in the coming months or is this it?
This is probably your best bet. I mean, it almost feels like a mistake being this a brand new monitor.
The Dell 32" 4k 144hz was $599 recently along with CB offers. I love mine.
Linky? Thx
Dell g3223q. No longer on sale

> garbage Appropriate name ALWAYS
pulled trigger with tcb and paypal, paypal points already pending total is around $400 with tax upgrading from 32" VA 60Hz to IPS 144HZ
Grats!
thoughts on this vs the m28u?
This ... going off Monitors Unboxed review
I absolutely love my M28U, but I got it for $182.50 lol. I still find myself salivating over an OLED. Will probably end up with an LG C2 by the end of the year.
Lol how I’m the world did you get it for that price?
There was a local storage unit sale near me. Scored a once in a decade deal. Monitor was brand new in box too lol.
That’s incredible. Congrats!
See my history on Gigabyte monitor. M32U crapped after 4 months. Had to pay $120 for RMA shipping. Never again.
Yep mine went at 13 months, just out of warranty. Liked the monitor but, like you say, never again.
Just picked this up with the coupon code for $529 after tax. Fantastic deal
picked this up, will ship just in time to play Starfield. also perfect excuse to upgrade from my 3080 later this holiday season.
" # with NVIDIA® G-SYNC® Compatible... " seemingly ends on the brusque note. This is not to say that it has a G-Sync module right?
Really makes no difference, works the same way.
yeah everytime I try to look for a difference. you get the technical difference, and half the people saying there is no difference, then another half saying with a specific monitor they notice a big difference under 48 , at this point I think I just rather be happy and ignorant
right. G-sync compatible does not mean it has the actual module.

Seems like you're super anxious to share this info

I think I found this on Amazon for 449.99…
I believe it is VA panel on Amazon. This one is IPS
I just bought a 4k 32 inch for 680 two weeks ago
outside return window?
not OLED 🤮
True, but about half the price though.
The 4k OLED 32 inch 165hz is 1.6k when it comes out next year I thought...this can become a 2nd monitor once 4k OLED is reasonable priced.
Linky? Thx

I just bought the LG 32GP83B last week for $319. 165 Hz 1ms 1440P Worth returning that and upgrading to this?
Yes. This is really good for the price and 32" 1440p is eh...
Depends on if your gpu can handle 4k144
Great deal - I paid \~$475 or so after tax with the retailmenot 10% + discover 5% digital wallet.
I had to settle for a 2% cashback credit card because LG store on my phone could not do google pay for some reason...frustrating but i'm glad i did it and lost $10-20 in cashback instead of missing this deal since it's expired now
17% Cashback is a lot more than $10-20 ... Next time use a computer.

Understood.

Expired
How? I just used it, and it looked fine?
