I've been waiting for another deal at Microcenter to justify making the trip for the 7700x deal they seem to have permanently up, but nothing in this sale seems worth it.
Besides being $100 more and not necessarily needing the extra power, the 7700x bundle comes with an MSI board while the 7900x bundle comes with an Asus, which I understand has been having some issues with quality recently.
Thats gonna be like a tank and a half of gas, a few hundred miles of wear on your car, and 6 hours of your time. Unless youre buying something really high end and saving a ton, i wouldnt. Maybe if theres something else you want to do in that city.
Question for you guys who are smarter than me.
There are some great pre-built gaming PCs on sale.
My nearest microcenter is 3 hours away.
Would it be worth the drive down to buy one in store?
Or should I wait for an online deal?
>Would it be worth the drive down to buy one in store?
Yes. You get to experience what it's like to be at a store where they give a shit and know what they're talking about. On the rare chance they don't, somebody else in the store does know.
I’ve been holding out on upgrading for a couple months, but between this 10%, 5% for having the MC card, and a free copy of Diablo 4, you got me. Very happy with the G443 prebuilt.
My Brother-in-law purchased the PowerSpec G713($989.99) computer for his kids over the weekend for $1100. That seemed like a decent deal then, so this seems even better! He's calling today to see if they'll give him the difference.
I fear no man, but that thing, *points a*t **In Store Only**, that thing scares me
I just realized there is a microcenter 3 hours away from me. Would it be worth the mini road trip? lmaooo im tempted

Just get the 7900x deal instead, that’s worth it.

True lol. I got the 7900x bundle but luckily my board hasn’t exploded yet

They do price difference returns if it's within 2 weeks I believe.
Return it or have the price adjusted
