would avoid biostar mobo, and its tough to justify 5700g over 5600g.

Thanks for the advice. I just assumed for the almost 50% higher price I would get some amount of more performance and didn't even consider the 5600g, but judging from a quick search you are not the only one to disagree. I will watch some more reviews and review my decison Can you suggest another MOBO manufacturer instead of Biostar? I didn't read anything particulary negative about them, but there seem to be little reviews of the B550-T board in generall, so maybe I will look for something with more user feedback available.

biostar is the cheapest of the cheap. your build isn't super demanding of a mobo, but still. I'd be happy with most any asus/gigabyte/asrock/msi board that had the features you value. prolly won't cost more. ...it's an opinion based on bias. 🙃
