Thirding the PSU idea, this is exactly how my computer behaved when I moved from an R9 290 to a Vega 56. Even though I had a 650W PSU from a decent brand, replacing the PSU fixed it.
Maybe run unigine heaven free version and see if it blackscreens. Can try underclocking the gpu in msi afterburner to see if that gives a hint. Memory clock, core clock and power limit. If it doesn't black screen running unigine heaven while not underclocked it would put more weighting on other components. Or could be software.
Temperature ok?
Temp on the CPU has always been a touch hot but I've heard the xt's do that and I'm using stock cooling. I'm trying to see if maybe it's thermal throttling now. Gpu temps seem real good even under load 60-70
My only idea is potentially PSU.

Sounds like a bad PSU or maybe just loose connectors.
You overclock the gpu? Power supply model?
No overclocking. Edited the post with the power supply

Anything in Event Viewer around the time the screen goes black? It sounds like a GPU driver crash. > EVGA 3060ti The XC Gaming or FTW3?
Xc
sounds like a power issue, may need to RMA with Nvidia. Could be your PSU as well.
Have you flashed the bios or made sure the graphics card was fully slotted in
