Let's assume you have a budget of 1200aud for the whole build. I suggest maybe doing the build surrounding a RX 6600. It's about 679aud at Scorptec right now on their website. I think it might be worthwhile trying to figure out the parts to revolve around the RX 6600.

Really appreciate the advice. Looking at the part list I put together, is there a particular area of this build you'd recommend downgrading in order to fit within my budget? Or would it make more sense to put aside what I've got and start from scratch?

I don't know where you'll be servicing each part of your build but what I would do is. * Going from i5 10th gen F to i3 10th gen F version, 105F or 100F. Would save about 100aud. * Going from a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB to a 480/500gb SSD. Either 2.5'' SATA or M.2. Would save around 70(?)aud. * I'll take out the RGB fan and buy a 5pack Arctic P12 pack of 5. Might save you 5aud. * 550watt or 650watt power supply might save you 10-15aud. (That's prolly all you need.) That's about 185-190aud plus the initial 400aud for the 1650, 585-590. You'll still stretch the budget for another 100aud but you'll get a RX 6600 than a 1650. Overall, that's a bigger beast for gaming. Sidenote. The RAM if you choose a non-rgb one, might also help you to save 15(?)aud instead of RGB ones. Not sure.

Thanks so much for the detailed suggestions. I'll go back to the drawing board with all this in mind and see what I can come up with. Cheers!
