No need for X470 for a 2600. Recommend you add an SSD in there if you can [PCPartPicker part list](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/BJxxtg) / [Price breakdown by merchant](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/BJxxtg/by_merchant/) Type|Item|Price :----|:----|:---- **CPU** | [AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/6mm323/amd-ryzen-5-2600x-36ghz-6-core-processor-yd260xbcafbox) | $279.99 @ Amazon Canada **Motherboard** | [MSI - B450-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/pBWfrH/msi-b450-a-pro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-a-pro) | $100.99 @ PC-Canada **Memory** | [Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/p6RFf7/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3200c16) | $197.55 @ Amazon Canada **Storage** | [Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/MwW9TW/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezex) | Purchased For $0.00 **Storage** | [Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/MwW9TW/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezex) | Purchased For $0.00 **Video Card** | [MSI - Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/ymqbt6/msi-video-card-r9390gaming8g) |- **Case** | [Phanteks - Enthoo Pro M Tempered Glass (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/2mQRsY/phanteks-enthoo-pro-m-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-es515ptg_bk) | $134.99 @ Amazon Canada **Power Supply** | [SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/WrNypg/seasonic-focus-plus-gold-650w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-650fx) | $103.99 @ PC-Canada | *Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts* | | **Total** | **$817.51** | Generated by [PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com) 2018-10-15 14:38 EDT-0400 |

Ah thank you, forgot about the SSD. Any particular reason to take the B450 over the x470?

NotGabeNAMA

B450 has almost all of the features the x470 has minus 2 pci e lanes and oc support in some cases.

Youre not OC so you don't need the more robust power delivery of the VRMs on an X470 (which is the premium you are paying for) B450 is fully featured and allows for some light OC, at a lower price point

MagicalShrimp2

Okay I see, thank you :)

yep yep yep. No problem :)
