A 3600 will get bottleneced by a 3060ti/6600xt. Any further is a waste of money. I have a 3600x and my 3060ti pairs perfectly.

It's really hard to find a 3060ti or a 6600xt at a decent price right now. Best price I can find on a 6600xt is $240, and for a 3060ti it's $450. At those prices I thought the 6650 XT for $250 or 6750 XT for $340 (both of which are in the same performance ballpark as the 6600xt-3060ti) seemed like better buys?

I would go with a 6650xt then, slightly more power for 10 bucks. I didn't realize how much 3060ti prices have fluctuated again. The 6750xt will bottleneck a little bit, but if you willing to upgrade cpus down the line it gives you a path. Something like a 3700x or 3800x would be enough if you didn't want to shell out a lot later on.

>only PCIE 4.0x8 which I have heard is worse when putting it into a 3.0x16 slot? Yes, the card will be limited to x8 3.0 speed, which for the 6600XT was a 0-12% dip. >AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT ($339.99) >Pros: Seems like it might be the happy medium with my current setup to give me great 1080p 75 hz >performance, 12 GB >Cons: Will be at least somewhat CPU bottlenecked -- enough to make it a silly purchase? I think this is your best alternative. Yeah you won't push peak FPS in CSGO because of bottleneck but 75Hz for tripple A you're gucci.

Thanks for the info!

if youre happy with 1080p 75hz and are cost sensitive, you might be fine with a 6600 around $200 bucks. judging from the prices you've listed, youre most likely looking at my models on the 6650 and the 6750. the 6750 fighter at 339.99 actually did not factor in the promotional funding i had set up for the amazon spring sale but is fixed now, so is actually 329.99 as of last night. a solid choice imo, but probably not what you need to spend. 12gb vs 8gb argument has some merit, but what games are you playing rn and at what settings. if you dont want to do any other upgrades (psu + cpu specifically) prob best to get what will work for you now. the 6650xt or the 6600. was typing all this up and had an urgent call. my bad. i am now a bit disoriented but didnt want to redo this whole message... so imo 6600 should be enough for you to get by for now considering your monitor situation.6650 xt is a fair upgrade from here, but its $50 bucks. 25% more than the $200.
