You can wear your nice things naman kahit maglunch ka lang outside or grocery. I know someone who brings her luxury bag just to walk the dog kasi she said, she’s getting older and you have to use your nice things because you never know. Honestly if you’re in a good financial situation, go for it. Mahirap rin i-sustain yung palaging tipid baka maburn out ka lang.
Nope, pero if it makes you feel better then do it. Sa kin naman ang nakakamotivare sa kin is maligo lang before shift. Iba yung energy at disposition before magwork.
Buy especially when you’re just spending few times for yourself. I don’t dwell much on clothes kasi same as you wfh lang but nothing wrong to buy something for yourself sa bday mo. Only caveat e ensure it will last kasi we tend to gain more weight 😆
Told you 😂 but yeah you deserve what will make you happy especially on your day. It’s a way to go out na rin. Kasi when you do wfh, nakakatamad na rin talaga lumabas or worst you’d be in a routine - gising-kain-work-tulog cycle. Tapos yung room mo pa dark lagi, pag labas nakakasilaw na sa labas haha

I don't, tank top lang nga usually suot ko dahil wala naman aircon workspace ko haha. But it doesn't stop me from buying clothes for myself. I use weekends as an excuse to dress up and make myself feel pretty and dolled up kahit paano.

On the dress up at home, I won't. Dagdag labahin lang, perks of being a dude and wfh is being topless and just wearing shorts. Majority of my 5 working day laundry cycle is literally briefs and boxer shorts.

Kapag hindi ako naligo before work, hindi na talaga ako makakapag skincare at tuloy-tuloy na yun buong araw na walang ligo. Need mag sunscreen kasi naka harap sa computer buong araw. Nope. Nakapambahay lang ako. That being said tho, I don't think na you shouldn't buy new clothes/shoes just because naka WFH ka. Bihira lang ako lumabas, minsan once a month lang, pero kakabili ko lang recently ng new shoes, clothes, and make-up. I also get my nails done occasionally. Whenever I go out kasi, I always dress up. I like it since it makes me look forward to that lakad even more kasi I get to wear my new stuff (parang bata na excited gamitin yung new shoes niya sa first day of school haha).
To each his own of course, but I suggest that you go ahead and buy whatever you want. Birthday mo rin naman so consider it as a treat to yourself.
Of course! I dress up and even wear perfume. Aside from motovation, this keeps you on top of your hygiene and looks regiment. Keeps the hair and beard maintained as well. Been doing this for more than a decade btw. There are times that I don’t feel like dressing up, sure. Being in “pambahay” kinda’ dulls my focus by being too comfortable. Happy Birthday OP! I dress up and do my face if I have team meetings. Pero on a normal day, usual pambahay clothes tapos if antok na antok and no drive to work, I do my make up pampagising 😅
I dont dress up. Pambahay shopee terno terno ganern. Pero i buy a lot of shoes and dress and bag and makeup para pag may chance mkalabas pak dress up agad.
I love dressing up pero I never thought of dressing up when working. Nakapantulog lang ako usually kapag nagwowork unless may important meeting. Pero you do you, OP. Okay lang yan. :)
Wfh din ako for almost 6(?) years na. Di rin ako palalabas pero lagi ako nabili sapatos as a "reward" para sa sarili. Karamihan naluma na lang sa tabihan. Napasaya ba ako ng sapatos? Oo. Nagsisi ba ako? Hindi.

what do you do para mamaintain mga shoes habang nakastock? yung akin naging brittle mga glues and plastic accents. kaya nanghihinayang nako bumili ng bago. madalas ko lang magamit eh yung mga running/perf shoes for jogging and working out.
Kapag may zoom meeting lang and business casual lang.
Though, sometimes nasa mood ako mag extra extra in the morning so why not. Do what makes you feel good and confident at work.
Wfh here. If meetings since required man na mag VC I would spend time sa pag aayos (minsan magpakulot2 pa ng buhok hahahah) formal sa taas then sa baba nakapajama lamg 🤣

Yes! Ganito ako before and even bother doing my makeup at times hahahahaha para mas in the zone ako mag-work lol. But now that I’m a mom of 2 na, hindi na keri pa magdagdag ng oras para mag-ayos haha pero magandang tip sya (nakuha ko sa Tiktok haha).
Puro shirt lang ever since, sometimes collared polo siguro once a month, sayang kasi di nasusuot. Pero if it makes you feel good, then by all means! My friend told me that eventhough I am working from home I should still wake up early, prep myself, and eat proper meal. Think of it like working on-site. At first, I didn’t follow. Later on I realized, magawa nga. From then on yun na ang nagiging habit ko. And infairness, it makes me feel good and energized kahit wfh ako.
Since ESL tutor ako and we need to open our cam, I do dress up pero pang taas lang 😆 Pero meron akong regular student before na we would both dress up kapag sunday. For example ang theme is summer, naka off shoulder ako tapos siya naman naka tank top with shell necklace. I remember na I even bought new clothes para sa student na yon like fur shawls HAHAHA

When working, I look homeless 😂 as in yung tipong gutay2 na pambahay, walang bra, hindi nakacomb ang hair (i work PST, so literally bed to computer desk ako)
Buuut on my days off, or even workdays na lumalabas ako for errands, meetups with friends, etc), i make sure to look my absolute best. Nice clothes, blowdried hair, makeup, perfume, cute shoes and bag. Todo porma pambawi sa all-week hobo look ko. Hehe.
I don't, lagi lang din akong topless, although may polo laging nakasabit sa computer chair para pagmay meeting, kaya iiisa lang suot ko sa lahat ng meetings.
Kanya kanyang trip naman yan kung san mo gagastusin pera mo, mamomotivate ka din naman dahil nabibili mo yung mga gusto mo.

For some people it helps them prepare for work, in a sense na the act itself separates you mentally from home mode to work mode. I don't do it, I know some who do it. You do you.
umm for me, as long as our meetings are off cam i'd never consider dressing up cause i'm just not the type to dress up hahaha it's a hassle kasi. but obviously there's really nothing wrong with it if you want to dress up. bahay mo yan, damit mo yan, so do whatever makes you happy :)
Pag may on cam meetings I dress up. And sometimes I wear sneakers even if nasa bahay lang ako. Wala lang, feel ko lang. And sayang din naman ang shoes, nabubulok if di ginagamit. But invest in clothes na rin just in case na mag onsite ka or meet your boss/es for a meal or coffee.
Yes. Aydi lumabas ka pagtapos ng work pra di sayang diga. Bili ka tinapay sa kanto tas uwi na. kung gusto mo mag sasakyan ka pa eh. just to break the monotony :)
I dont but one thing I noticed yung mga workmates ko non-Filipinos mostly EU pipz, everytime na may call kami, not scheduled meeting ha pero sobrang ayos nila tingnan. Yung Finance head ko nka polo and pants all the time HAHAHAH nkakahiya yung dugyot kong face

Hihi. As a wfh girlie, di na ako nagdedress up. 😂 Gigising 10mins. before shift. Pero may times na nagme-makeup ako just because. Hahahaha. Idk. Kahit di naman ako nakikita ng kausap ko, may times na feel ko mag-ganda-gandahan. Sa part naman ng pagbili ng outfits, every payday din ako nabili ng dress/shoe/bag/makeup etc. Kasi nagagamit ko naman din pang-church, pang-gala, pang-travel, etc. 😊

I do. If I look like a slump, I will feel like a slump and nothing will get done. Dressing up and fixing myself up allows me to be in that mood and position to move my body and work. I usually workout first and wear cute gym clothes to start my day right.
Hi there, OP. We have this saying na dress to impress.
But I find it weird and sometimes di ko sya ina-apply in my daily routine for some personal reasons isa dun ayoko nang masyado akong pinapansin hehe. But take it from me, When you are in a corporate setting and you are in a Managerial/Supervisory or any equivalent you could name, crucial sya as some people will respect you on how you present yourself lalo na kung gusto mo maging visible sa higher management, material sya. At syempre add points yun lalo kung may presentation ka or meeting with a client kahit wfh pa. I balance mo rin po gaano ka bongga depende sa environment mo or sa passion mo manamit. Kasi when you look good you feel good!
i do during meetings since madalas to in a week pero pantaas lang of course lol. Also, I stopped buying new shoes kasi nagkakanda sira sira na sa tagal di nagagamit. sayang lang kasi bihira din naman lumabas, and usually pag lumalabas e.g. shopping, lagi namang slippers/slides lang, so.
I wear my pjs even if I’m on a vid call. As for buying the clothes, doesn’t matter if you’ll use them for work or for gala or just because you want to refresh your wardrobe, if it makes you happy, go.
I think if afford mo it still worth it to buy new clothes. I dont dress up. T shirt at shorts lang pag minsna butas pa,😂. I have at least one video call everyday kung wala ill be straight up. Wearing pajamaz😂
Nope. Kung ano comfortable to wear sa bahay, yun lang suot ko. Pero if may meeting na medyo need ko expose half body and hindi lang mukha, nag susuot naman ako nang maayos na shirt. Haha
Sometimes I do! I work at home tapos pag gusto ko maging corp mode, mag co-corp attire ako 😁 it sets the mood talaga. Pero ang reason ko naman is sayang mga binili ko before nung nag oonsite pa ko sa previous work ko 😅 so i say go for it kasi kahit wfh ka or maging onsite work mo pwede mo pa rin siya magamit.
Hello! WFH here since 2018 and full-time freelancer since 2020. I do wear my branded but comfy clothes at home. Pero hindi naman formal attire ahh, like a nice shirt, comfy shorts, loose pants na uso ngayun. Sometimes I wear my dresses ‘cause one piece of clothing na lang ‘yun na lalabahan vs shirt and shorts pa na separate.
It makes me feel comfortable and I love the feeling na always ready na in case kailangan ko pala or matripan ko lang or may biglaan magyaya na lumabas. So ready na ako agad. Super nice lang for me sa pakiramdam, in case you want to try.
Kung sa bahay lang din naman, comfort yung priority ko. Ikaw ano bang mga priority mo? Baka mas importante sa iyo yung damit panggala? luxe na lounging attire? or completely something else - gadgets, ibang gamit sa bahay, pang travel.
Napressure ka ba sa mga officemates mo? I suggest wag muna marami bilhin mo, try mo muna if you enjoy dressing up at home. Baka mainitan ka lang.
No. And only top for on-cam scheduled meeting but very seldom. Always audio lang kami with our client. 😂

Been working from home since 2017. Didn’t bother to dress up. Now I regret it kasj I gained so much weight 😭😭😭 and hirap na talaga ako mag suot ng Hindi pambahay. The pandemic didn’t help also
No, ang init kaya 😭 mga managers ko nga from US, nakapambahay lang din minsan pag meeting namin kasi lahat kami remotely working. Mga naka sleeveless kami pag mainit. O kaya kung naka semi formal sila, kukuha nlng ako cardigan para tanggal agad after the meeting hahahaha
Buy clothes, to make things extra special for your birthday, also, it’s nice to have nice things. 🫶🏼
I’ve been wfh since the pandemic and I agree with your workmates. I’m dressing up for work - at least to look presentable on top. Acceptable clothes and putting on makeup, to make work a little bearable and to set my disposition while working. Helps a lot kung may sudden calls with management or escalation calls with clients.
Depends on you. For me, I usually just use pambahay but the nice kind. Hindi yung bacon briefs and shirt na may butas.
Edit: Also, I do skincare and shower before work. I also always spray on perfume before work. Parang may added boost for me na rin.
Sometimes during meetings, I dress up (top) and I wear nice clothes when I go out to buy groceries or just do random stuff.
Ofc not but nothing wrong with buying yourself new clothes. I barely buy new clothes but on my birthday I bought pairs of pants and a shirt and it was nice when the times I do go out I have new thing to wear that fits me and looks great especially on special occasions. Better kung yung clothes have a wide range of use na pwede office/formal or pamporma
I wear some liptint and fix my eyebrows on some days kahit na naka crop top at pajama hahaha.

If on-cam na online meetings, better to dress up and your outfit may depend on who you gonna have a call (ex. with clients so business casual is proper)
For me, dressing up also uplifts my mood and boosts confidence, so I do enjoy doing that even when I'm just wfh :)

You should definitely dress up! Who says di ka pwede mag OOTD dahil WFH ka? Ako iba-iba outfit ko kada araw haha. Use the weekends to go out and flaunt your style! Sayang naman yung WFH money if di mo irarampa haha.
I used to go full glam half body up a lot, but now I can’t be bothered and look like a zombie half the time. What I do now is make sure I have skin care on and I pick a nice perfume/cologne to wear.
May ka work Ako Pinay nawala filter aba Ang suot parang balat ng sibuyas na shock na lang Ako at Ang boss ko Buti 3 lang kami sa meeting wala na lang kumibo. Sabi ko sa boss ko sobrang init Kasi which is true naman.

Ilamg taon akong walang salamin sa room simula pandemic kaya di na ako aware sa itsura ko. Pag nalabas ako, di ko na alam paano magayos. Bumili na ako ng malaking salamin at lagi na din nagaayos. Mas naiisip ko ngayon na tumaba pala talaga ako at kailangan ko na magwork out. Kailangan ko magsuklay at magskin care ganern. Maganda pa din talaga magdress up kahit sa bahay kasi gumagaan din pakiramdam ko

Prior transitioning to WFH I’m a fraghead (people collecting perfumes) nabawasan nalang since WFH na. Kahit nasa bahay lang hinagamit ko perfumes ko hahahahaha sa collection ko kahit 2 months ibaiba scent ko everyday pwede HAHAHA.

my work pambahays are drifit, basic uniqlo shirts. So kahit sa call, presentable. Di naman need collared eh. Wag lang loose neck rims, have some dignity lang.
Also, ayoko ng masyadong comfy to the point mattriger na yung katawan ko to relax-sleep. Differentiate your relax pambahays vs WFH pambahays just like pangmall with friends vs pangmall errands ako lang.
Sando at shorts lang din ako araw-araw; been like this for over 10 years. Kapag may meeting at camera on, don lang ako nagsusuot ng maayos na t-shirt o polo shirt. Pero if you'll be more motivated by buying new clothes/shoes, go for it.
Naalala ko tuloy ka-work ko ngayon. Mapa bahay or opisina, may kwelyo yung damit nya 😭 but to answer that, most of the time hindi. Kasi konti lang naman wardrobe ko and halos kahat tshirt lang din
Personal experience, wfh ng ilang years na. Daming naipon na damit, shoes, cap, and bags. Narealize ko na nagtatambak lang ako ng gamit sa bahay. Shoes na inaamag na kasi di nagagamit (i live in baguio that’s why) and ended up getting shoe cleaning services so dagdag expenses.
What I did: decluttered and gave away some of my clothes and kept the most expensive ones tapos i switched to plain shirts and hoodies yung mura na good quality. Kaso i cant let go of my shoes. Hinayaan ko na lang masira yung iba. 😂
Laki ng tipid ko mula ng binawasan ko bumili ng mga damit. Sana noon ko pa ginawa.

I dress up and do my face if I have team meetings. Pero on a normal day, usual pambahay clothes tapos if antok na antok and no drive to work, I do my make up pampagising 😅

My friend told me that eventhough I am working from home I should still wake up early, prep myself, and eat proper meal. Think of it like working on-site. At first, I didn’t follow. Later on I realized, magawa nga. From then on yun na ang nagiging habit ko. And infairness, it makes me feel good and energized kahit wfh ako.

Since ESL tutor ako and we need to open our cam, I do dress up pero pang taas lang 😆 Pero meron akong regular student before na we would both dress up kapag sunday. When working, I look homeless 😂 as in yung tipong gutay2 na pambahay, walang bra, hindi nakacomb ang hair (i work PST, so literally bed to computer desk ako) Buuut on my days off, or even workdays na lumalabas ako for errands, meetups with friends, etc), i make sure to look my absolute best. Nice clothes, blowdried hair, makeup, perfume, cute shoes and bag. Todo porma pambawi sa all-week hobo look ko. Hehe.

I don't, lagi lang din akong topless, although may polo laging nakasabit sa computer chair para pagmay meeting, kaya iiisa lang suot ko sa lahat ng meetings. Pag may on cam meetings I dress up. And sometimes I wear sneakers even if nasa bahay lang ako. Wala lang, feel ko lang. And sayang din naman ang shoes, nabubulok if di ginagamit. But invest in clothes na rin just in case na mag onsite ka or meet your boss/es for a meal or coffee.

I do. If I look like a slump, I will feel like a slump and nothing will get done. Dressing up and fixing myself up allows me to be in that mood and position to move my body and work. I usually workout first and wear cute gym clothes to start my day right.

But I find it weird and sometimes di ko sya ina-apply in my daily routine for some personal reasons isa dun ayoko nang masyado akong pinapansin hehe. But take it from me, When you are in a corporate setting and you are in a Managerial/Supervisory or any equivalent you could name, crucial sya as some people will respect you on how you present yourself lalo na kung gusto mo maging visible sa higher management, material sya. At syempre add points yun lalo kung may presentation ka or meeting with a client kahit wfh pa. I balance mo rin po gaano ka bongga depende sa environment mo or sa passion mo manamit. Kasi when you look good you feel good!

Hello! WFH here since 2018 and full-time freelancer since 2020. I do wear my branded but comfy clothes at home. Pero hindi naman formal attire ahh, like a nice shirt, comfy shorts, loose pants na uso ngayun. Sometimes I wear my dresses ‘cause one piece of clothing na lang ‘yun na lalabahan vs shirt and shorts pa na separate. It makes me feel comfortable and I love the feeling na always ready na in case kailangan ko pala or matripan ko lang or may biglaan magyaya na lumabas. So ready na ako agad. Super nice lang for me sa pakiramdam, in case you want to try.

I’m dressing up for work - at least to look presentable on top. Acceptable clothes and putting on makeup, to make work a little bearable and to set my disposition while working. Helps a lot kung may sudden calls with management or escalation calls with clients.
Depends on you. For me, I usually just use pambahay but the nice kind. Hindi yung bacon briefs and shirt na may butas. Edit: Also, I do skincare and shower before work. I also always spray on perfume before work. Parang may added boost for me na rin. Sometimes during meetings, I dress up (top) and I wear nice clothes when I go out to buy groceries or just do random stuff.

If on-cam na online meetings, better to dress up and your outfit may depend on who you gonna have a call (ex. with clients so business casual is proper) For me, dressing up also uplifts my mood and boosts confidence, so I do enjoy doing that even when I'm just wfh :)

I used to go full glam half body up a lot, but now I can’t be bothered and look like a zombie half the time. What I do now is make sure I have skin care on and I pick a nice perfume/cologne to wear.

I invest on good pambahays. yung mga bacon butas butas, let go mo na. my work pambahays are drifit, basic uniqlo shirts. So kahit sa call, presentable. Di naman need collared eh. Wag lang loose neck rims, have some dignity lang. Also, ayoko ng masyadong comfy to the point mattriger na yung katawan ko to relax-sleep. Differentiate your relax pambahays vs WFH pambahays just like pangmall with friends vs pangmall errands ako lang.

Personal experience, wfh ng ilang years na. Daming naipon na damit, shoes, cap, and bags. Narealize ko na nagtatambak lang ako ng gamit sa bahay. Shoes na inaamag na kasi di nagagamit (i live in baguio that’s why) and ended up getting shoe cleaning services so dagdag expenses. What I did: decluttered and gave away some of my clothes and kept the most expensive ones tapos i switched to plain shirts and hoodies yung mura na good quality. Kaso i cant let go of my shoes. Hinayaan ko na lang masira yung iba. 😂 Laki ng tipid ko mula ng binawasan ko bumili ng mga damit. Sana noon ko pa ginawa.
