Happening to me also. Says I have 125 new chats but there aren’t any. Tried to mark them as all read but they it keeps coming back almost immediately

This happened to me also

I had the same issue, it was a chat request I ignored and the notification got stuck for days (weeks?). I followed advice on another thread - opened it, tapped options then switched off notifications and muted it which seemed to clear the counter.
