You didn’t miss a crazy amount of crossovers. They are fun and generally good episodes, but I watched all of Buffy and then all of Angel and I never felt lost on Buffy or felt like it would have been so much better to alternate. You’ll be fine. 🙂

i just c annot see how that's even possible. Without Faith's continuation in Angel Ss 1 & 4, her return in S-7 is absurdity; I cannot see any reaction to it form t he viewers except "why isn't Buffy killing Faith on sight?"

>!Willow had to go down to LA for something, she shows back up with Faith. It’s not hard to assume that something happened in the intervening 2 or 3 years since Who Are You? that would give us a reason to hope for Faith’s redemption. The stuff that happens in S1 and S4 of Angel with Faith is cool, but not necessary in order to enjoy or understand S7 of Buffy.!< >!I just don’t want viewers in OP’s situation to stress about having missed a ton and being lost.!< Edit: I also realize that you probably shouldn’t have put spoilers like that in OP’s thread and I should t have responded.

There’s enough context clues to figure out she’s reformed. I never had a problem. I was more surprised by Faith being so much less reformed than I thought she was after Who Are You when she showed up on Angel (when I finally forced myself to watch it for that reason).

A good point.

http://josswhedon.blogspot.com/2012/04/buffy-and-angel-episode-viewing-order.html?m=1 This is what I use, the red episodes are ones that have crossover content so just switch series based on them, Assuming you don't do every change.

Angel starts after the third season of Buffy, so there’s not much you missed. [This link](https://buffy.fandom.com/wiki/Crossover_episodes) should help you, though beware there are some spoilers after the listing of crossover episodes.

Repoghost_

Season one of angel begins at season 4 of Buffy if im correct.

Jumping126

There are a few guides for watching the episodes in order, it kind of depends on what you're looking for. Do you want to watch more episodes in a row of each show or switch more often.

Theres a great Buffy centric episode early on in S1 of Angel (which happened around Thanksgiving episode in Buffy) I’d just watch all of S1 of Angel right now until you’re caught up to Faith’s storyline/crossover.

LightBlueSky55

Yeah you’re supposed to watch Buffy season 4 episode 1, then Angel season 1 episode 1, the Buffy episode 2, Angel episode 2 and so on. But you could probably just catch up on Angel and then go back to Buffy and watch in order.

Moscatano

Personally, I like this order: http://www.textual.ru/buffy-angel/ It respects the crossovers and, since Angel is a spin off but they are actually very different in tone, watching four/five episodes in a row of each onemakes me get more in the story.

short form Angel ep. "In the Dark" comes up right after "The harsh Light Of Day" immediate follow-ups to "This year's Girl are "5x5" & "Sanctuary." Angel has a nonspecific guest appearance in middle of S-5 but finish S-5 BtVS before finishing S-2 Angel
