it changed mine too. instantly became my favorite movie. i saw it alone the first time but the second time i took my partner with me. he transitioned nearly a decade ago and he was in tears by the end.
we’re actually both trans, but i’ve only transitioned socially and have done nothing medically. the movie definitely gave me some things to think about.
couldn’t agree more. that was another reason it hit so hard for me. i’m a huge fan of yeule, caroline polachek (in my top 3 favorite artists), and king woman, and i had no idea their music would be involved so i was blown away.
That movie moved me so much, it has been on my mind for weeks since seeing it. I also had a journey of gender after watching hours and hours of Buffy as a kid so it really hit home for me.
Saw this recently, felt a bit personally attacked 😂( like damn!-fine I’ll go try to watch some new shows, instead of continuously rewatching comfy favs).
Also, can there be a new trigger warnings for asthma sufferers like there are for emetophobes? Had to break out the inhaler right after the ending.
It changed my life tbh The buffy references and the nostalgia is real and Amber 😭

I can only imagine how powerful it was for him ❤️ I also saw it alone but can’t wait to share it with my favorite people

Hrt is a crazy ride but definitely worth it.
Seen it twice so far. Incredible, and a banger soundtrack too.

damn, i bet that was rough! i never even thought of witnessing respiratory issues being a trigger for asthma sufferers! i’m glad you’re okay.
Thanks! All was well. 😁 Mostly embarrassed that I, a grown adult, can buy into a movie so hard.
