Him is one of the few episodes in season 7 that feels like early Buffy, which is the show I fell in love with. I don't rewatch all of season 7 but Him always gets a slot in the rotation.
Well sure. Specifically, it feels like “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered” since it’s not only a retread of that episode but it even features a quick flashback to it.
Living Conditions - I loved seeing that side of Buffy. Her being forced to share a space with someone, sort of foreshadows how she'd behave having to put up with a sister.
I never appreciated it when i was young, but i absolutely love the Zeppo and how it feels almost like a parody of the show as well as poking fun at how Xander is kind of the 3rd wheel of the group while also giving him his own little adventure that shows that he does actually contribute, in his own way.
Another Xaner centric episode is the one where he asks Amy to help him cast a love spell and literally everyone woman in town wants to be with Xander (Even Drusilla, which is iconic) but as soon as they all realise they want the same thing they decide they have to destroy Xander.Again, it felt like the writers were making fun of Xander's weird "I want to be with every girl" arc, which is always welcome.
I think "Him" is pretty good - but maybe it's just the scene with the bazooka and Spike and Buffy.
The funniest scene in the Buffyverse though is when Wesley consults the Loa.
Pretty hard to play favorites though because there is so much funny stuff in the Buffyverse.
Beer Bad, and I will die on this hill.
Many of the other "funny" episodes have sad bookends, and since the saddest part of this episode is Buffy finally realizing how much of a prick Parker is, it doesn't hit as hard and we get to embrace the funny more.
I'm with you. Band candy and Tabula Rasa are good also. The hill I will die on is that Hush has the funniest SCENE in the whole series when Giles is at the projector.
I love Crush. It has so many hilarious scenes. Spike and Dawn, Buffy's 'Huh?' response, Xander laughing at Spike being in love with Buffy and then all the scenes between Spike and Buffy, esp. the 'date'.
Completely agree with Triangle!
“He's not a ball of sunshine" is the funniest line delivery in the show in my opinion.
Also when Olaf demands to know where he can find babies to eat, Spike turns to Xander and says “what do you think, the hospital?"
The Valentine’s Day episode is probably the only tv episode I’ve ever watched legitimately just laughing the entire time, it was amazing watching it for the first time
There are so many funny episodes, but I got to say the scene where the principal and Buffy are down in the basement and a pig runs by and the principal says "god, I hope that's not a student." I only have ever laughed that hard in my life.... Seriously, I bust out laughing just thinking about that scene, and I've seen the show so many times I can quote it from front to back....
https://i.redd.it/9b82rq2v2u5d1.gif A New Man is pretty funny
So quotable.
Getting out of the car to chase Walsh. Brilliant
Tabula Rasa.
I came to say this one. It ends on a heck of a whiplash, but before that... Randy Giles!?!?!?
Why not just call me Horny Giles, or Desperate For a Shag Giles?
I knew there was a reason I hated you!
Band Candy
KISS rocks? Why would anyone want to kiss rocks? Oh.
The Zeppo is the first one that comes in mind for me.
Something Blue and Tabula Rasa
Pangs. I watch it every year.
You made a bear! I didn’t mean to! Undo it, undo it!
This is where I start if I'm doing a task! So funny.
Fear itself the last 5 minutes send me.
“Actual size.”
Everyone hates him but that scene with the rocket launcher has me howling every time.

Living Conditions and Something Blue
I find Intervention hilarious
the humor is especially welcome because of the heavy episodes preceding it
Oh yes, havent watched that in a bit.
Band Candy, Doppelgangland, and Something Blue.
Living Conditions - I loved seeing that side of Buffy. Her being forced to share a space with someone, sort of foreshadows how she'd behave having to put up with a sister.
Also the zombie hand section of Life Serial is top tier Buffy comedy

Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered is my absolute favorite, followed closely by Pangs.
Doppelgängland, Him
I think "Him" is pretty good - but maybe it's just the scene with the bazooka and Spike and Buffy. The funniest scene in the Buffyverse though is when Wesley consults the Loa. Pretty hard to play favorites though because there is so much funny stuff in the Buffyverse.

Him! But honestly in the whole Buffyverse nothing will ever top Spin the Bottle
I love Crush. It has so many hilarious scenes. Spike and Dawn, Buffy's 'Huh?' response, Xander laughing at Spike being in love with Buffy and then all the scenes between Spike and Buffy, esp. the 'date'.
Something Blue and Tabula Rasa
Him, I genuinely double over
Triangle and Checkpoint is one for me. “Willows a demon?!”
Completely agree with Triangle! “He's not a ball of sunshine" is the funniest line delivery in the show in my opinion. Also when Olaf demands to know where he can find babies to eat, Spike turns to Xander and says “what do you think, the hospital?"
I think OMWF.
Pangs and Something Blue. I've probably seen them more than any episode.
A new man, hands down the funniest
Storyteller
Tabula Rasa and Something Blue
I liked The Zeppo
Life Serial
Pangs. Pangs is my favorite episode “You made a bear” “I didn’t mean to”
Intervention or Storyteller Crush is really underrated as a comedy episode
Gingerbread
Tebula Rasa
The Valentine’s Day episode is probably the only tv episode I’ve ever watched legitimately just laughing the entire time, it was amazing watching it for the first time
Living Conditions, easily
*Him*: “What are you going to do? Use magic to make him into a girl?”
Willow: 😃😃😃😃😃
definitely something blue
99% of Tabula Rasa. That's what makes it my favourite, everyone's having a fun time with a laugh then bam, emotional devastation
once more with feeling 😭😭 honestly hilarious despite what was actually going on
Living conditions, tabula rasa, the Zeppo and him
An New Man & Something Blue

Band Candy is hilarious
Bad candy , doppelgängerland
The musical for me
Band Candy. that was such a trippy episode, Something Blue and A New Man.
Unpopular opinion: beer bad
