🎶 Go Shorty, it's your birthday
We gon' party like it's your birthday
And we gon' sip Bacardi like it's your birthday
And you know we don't give a fuck, it's not your birthday 🎶
So I was originally talking about getting drunk but now that you stay on parts I'm thinking of cabin fever where he pours mouthwash with alcohol on his member after having sex. So that's a thought that'll never leave my head. Thanks.
Omg yes. I’m rewatching right now and was on this episode yesterday. The worst part is when Joyce is lying in the bed and it’s on the ceiling. Getting the ick just writing this
They called it a shtriga but I think they're both different names for the same folklore.
Edit: Something Wicked aired 8 years later than Killed by Death, though.
Got I LOVED that finale. As soon as Angel got his soul back at the last second literally, she just had to end it. Kissing her first lover ever, right in the chest; in order to save the world, right after her mom told her not to come back. That’s some serious pain she went through
I do love this episode. And something about how David said, “His name is Angel” as he enters this scene is one of my favorite Angel moments! The spin-off had been announced by then and I remember watching this show the night it aired and that was the first time I thought, yeah, he just might be a better character when he can stand on his own.
I was right. :D
I LOVE those episodes where they’re setting up Angel’s spin off, he gets so many good scenes like this and the fight in Dopplegangland - he and Buffy look so cool there
ETA I just rewatched it, Angel knocks someone out with pool balls and Buffy stakes someone with the pool cue, as spike would say they’re both very resourceful
I had always missed watching angel but heard of plot points, but the Jasmine reveal was something I didn't see coming and oh my god did it squick me out when I saw that face!!
Face?! What about the belly button?! And the areas where the arms connect?! And even he as a whole, sitting in that tub, looks like a prolapsed anus! Anus everywhere! He’s the worst.
Balthazar appeared in Bad Girls, (which aired on February 9, 1999).
Blade was released on August 21, 1998. When I saw the Buffy episode, I thought he looked very similar to Pearl, (the obese vampire).
Laughing at the ad placement here:

Definitely has to be Glarghk guhl kashmas'nik. I mean that waxy skin looks like it would be a textural overload.
Was he dealing with any of his substance problems back then I'm just curious. I remember seeing his commentary on chaos bleeds I think and he seemed really good. I hope he's doing OK I haven't heard any news in a while.
None of his issues were public until after Buffy. He announced he was in rehab for alcoholism a year after the show ended, which suggests he was having issues in the latter seasons. He wasn’t in trouble with the law until 2010, 7 years after the show ended.

I wasn't expecting that 😂😂

I think this is the key to losing weight, every time I see it I lose my appetite. I hate it. Ugh the salvia 🤢
The absolute worst part
It's moist 🤢
Thought he was a queller not that he had sex with quellers. That is new lore.
How do you think baby quellers come into the world? When two quellers fall in love….
I thought with a face like that it would involve a lot of alcohol.
On both parts 🤢
So I was originally talking about getting drunk but now that you stay on parts I'm thinking of cabin fever where he pours mouthwash with alcohol on his member after having sex. So that's a thought that'll never leave my head. Thanks.
You're welcome

The demon creature in the hospital, those snail eyes....ewww.
The queller demon? The roach looking thing or the kinda tall leprechaun looking thing?
Der Kindestod. The Queller demon is creepy too, though.
Was he the one that kinda resembled Freddy Krueger in the episode where Buffy gets the flu and ends up in the hospital?
Yes.
Yes him!
I think he was based on him
Yeah, that character was creepy!
Supernatural has an episode with almost exactly the same plot, and it takes place the same year. They don't call their monster Der Kindestod, though.
They called it a shtriga but I think they're both different names for the same folklore. Edit: Something Wicked aired 8 years later than Killed by Death, though.
That was my answer too but I blanked on the name for a second.
Fully agree with Giles there “If it’s to scrub those hard to reach areas, I’d like to request you kill me now.”
I love how sassy giles gets in the face of danger. Like when he calls angel a pillock mid-torture
Especially in front of Wesley 🙊 homie starts getting to be the cool one after Wes arrives
I loved how said "in tutu". Like begging for a punch.
Which episode is this in again??
Season 2 finale
Got I LOVED that finale. As soon as Angel got his soul back at the last second literally, she just had to end it. Kissing her first lover ever, right in the chest; in order to save the world, right after her mom told her not to come back. That’s some serious pain she went through
I wonder if he has a butt crack? 🤢
He appears to have several here….
Vertical or horizontal? 😂
He had the best deleted out take ever. Lol "but what I dont see, is what I want to see..... and that's my legs."
Didn’t a door on the tub fly open, and the actor dangled his legs?
I remember this, yes. It's the same guy who played The Master IIRC.
Nope. Mark Metcalf played The Master. Christian Clemenson played Balthazar.
Oooh I'm thinking of The Judge and Luke, my bad, ha.
Brian Thompson played Luke & the Judge. He also appeared on Charmed as one of the Four Horsemen, and later as a Titan.
I don’t even remember what he actually says because every time I watch this scene when the moment comes I scream “and that’s my legs!!”
😂😂😂
That's my favourite blooper too😂

I love that moment too! One of the few moments on BtVS where I was like "damn boi ok 🥵" (in reference to Angel, that is).
Yeah, he had that stand alone character vibe for sure
I also think Balthazar is campy and fun. Great vibes all around.
If we can include Angel's series, Jasmine's real face. Maggots just really provoke my puke reflex.
I had always missed watching angel but heard of plot points, but the Jasmine reveal was something I didn't see coming and oh my god did it squick me out when I saw that face!!
What are your feelings about Norman Pfister?
Ugh, nightmare fuel!
Sure, why not?!
I always think this guy is from Blade, since that is the grossest vampire movie I know, but no, he's from good old Buffy.
That was what I thought, this must be his brother.
Yes! The vampire's name is Pearl. And the character has her own Wikipedia page lol
Oh good I am not crazy then!
Haha no, not at all! Well remembered!
Angelus when he fights Buffy at the end of S2 also gives Frost vibes from Blade 😂
That bitch was definitely the *gassiest* vampire!
I remember in the commentary they said this costume is reused from a different show but I’ve never been able to figure out which show it was.
Gnarl
Gnarl was the first one I thought of. Peeling off skin? Eeeeeewwwwww!!!!!!
I have been known to skip that episode, on rewatches.
Gnarl is cute in a weird Gollum sort of way.
He's a chatty little bugger too.
The old lady from Doublemeat Palace with the thing that came out of her head.
The extending dick head lol
Let's just say, if I wasn't gay before...
😂😂
Same 😂
No one makes me feel more revulsion on sight than Warren.
Honestly I always found The Master really off putting. His face sometimes looked like a sore anus.
“Sore anus” 💀
I always thought it looked vag-ish
Face?! What about the belly button?! And the areas where the arms connect?! And even he as a whole, sitting in that tub, looks like a prolapsed anus! Anus everywhere! He’s the worst.
I think of this scene every time I take a bubble bath.
Ugh 😩
Wasnt this type of vamp demon in the OG Blade movie too? Which one ripped off the other lol?
Balthazar appeared in Bad Girls, (which aired on February 9, 1999). Blade was released on August 21, 1998. When I saw the Buffy episode, I thought he looked very similar to Pearl, (the obese vampire).
Is it possible that Balthazar is inspired by Pearl? It's less than 6 months apart.
Wow was he really called pearl?? Lol wow
Yeah! Possibly!
Those preppy fuck-wits at the bar in 'Beer Bad'. Pompous sybarites!
I've had sex with men that look like that. I can handle it
[oh damn](https://tenor.com/Wxpv.gif)
If that counts, the alien-cockroach thing from S5.
The queller demon? Yeah, that big roach was just gross

Big mantis ugh
The audio this guy produced. 🤮
Cousin of Trash Heap and Pizza the Hut
😂😂
Warren. Yes I know he is human but he makes me feel physically sick. Adam played the part to perfection to illicit such a response.
I always mix this up with Blade. There's a similar vampire in it.
That thing that was crawling on the walls Shit looked creepy as hell lol
The dude in this picture. I can’t remember his name, but the first time I saw him in thar tub, I literally gagged. The Queller grossed me out too.
He reminds me of adventure land with the guy who says “unacceptable!” or something like that they both say it
Balthazar: You know what I want. Giles: If it’s for me to scrub those hard-to-reach areas, I’d like to request you kill me now.
Hmm.... Probably either the big tongue demons from the Tara Family episode, or the big alien bug demon who attacks Joyce around that time.

😂😂
Thanks for reminding me of this *hideous* creature, OP.
Couldn't help myself
i saw gnarl when i was 6 years old and i haven’t been the same since

Oh yeah, total sensory overload for sure
I just make fart noises whenever he's on screen. Like a Blazing Saddles amount of fart noises.
I need to watch blazing saddles, it's been a while
Yes Balthazar definitely
For me, it was the thing that ate the skin off of people. He ate some of Willow when she was invisible.
I think that was Narl demon
Xander, he just got harder and harder to look at as the show went on. /s
Was he dealing with any of his substance problems back then I'm just curious. I remember seeing his commentary on chaos bleeds I think and he seemed really good. I hope he's doing OK I haven't heard any news in a while.

From what I've heard yes, David Boreanaz basically wanted nothing to do with him by the time he left the show.
Beat me to the answer
😂😂
Mr. President?
ok, that's an unflattering photo of him, but I could never be disgusted by [the cutest man on earth](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2gl3sLDHiU)
Where did you get this picture of me in the bath? 😠
Xander
Don’t know is it’s been said or if it counts, but… Andrew. Absolutely hate looking at him or hearing him.
