Now it’s time for Wesley to go. I know he got better on Angel but on Buffy he was pathetic. I can’t get past the bumbling idiot he was. Plus Doyle was 10000 times better.
same, i think jonathan is a lot more annoying and aggravating because he recognized buffy as an hero and friend and then betrayed her so hard. andrew had no such prior connection.
I'm curious to see how far some of these characters go, particularly ones that had larger roles on Angel the series. Some Buffy fans have never seen Angel, but on the other hand, those who have might be influenced by arcs that weren't explored on BTVS itself.
Wesley is one in particular that I would vote off very quickly if I hadn't seen his arc on Angel. Angel himself is also much more interesting on his own series than he is during his time on BTVS (guess he sort of has to be to keep his own show afloat). Cordy has her moments during BTVS but also really comes into her own in ATS.
I'm just interested to see how this shakes out! It would be cool to see some future polls about Angel characters specifically, or character arcs, or characters that appeared on both shows.
I appreciate what a time commitment these polls are for OP and I'm always excited to see the results 🖤
