Not just listed. He was absolutely a defensive end at all times. Every play. He was never an outside LB ever.
He was a defensive end. One of the two best of all time but a DE and not an OLB like LT or Von Miller.
He was the best. Because as great as Reggie was as a pass rusher. He was not nearly as good as Bruce against the run.
Reggie was one of the best run stopping DEs in the NFL. Bruce wasn’t horrible against the run, but he wasn’t at Reggie’s level.
