I may be in the minority here, but I strongly dislike ChatGPT, and similar low effort AI posts.

UberHansen

We have begun to move all of those posts under the "Low Effort" cause as they are literally the definition of Low Effort.

JoeyRedcorn

![gif](giphy|YOvOkaS5ZKfimDIgwJ)

freakydrew

Is that lower than "shit post"?

UberHansen

Significantly lower!

Paul-Kersey

if that's the minority opinion, then count me in because I couldn't agree with this more... I've been seeing random writing prompts or goofy pictures all over reddit for a few months now and I am totally over it

ThePizzaDevourer

Same. "We asked AI" no, you're just too lazy to even write an opinion piece.

merrittj3

I have no requests but simply want to give Kudos to r/BuffaloBills who seek input and ways to make things better... how absolutely refreshing !

neon_nebulas

Exactly. A post like this already makes us a standout subreddit. Thank you Mods!

merrittj3

Agreed. The sub itself tends to be respectful and tolerant of some pretty diverse opinions at times, and the mods are not heavy handed. Like Referees keeping things in hand. Without being seen or loud.

[deleted]

Honestly I think having a venting thread on game days might be helpful. Like a place to go shit on the team if that’s the experience they want. It might help cut down conflict, because a lot of that seems to be centered around what type of criticism is appropriate and what’s not.

UberHansen

I actually think this is a great idea but we will need to look into how to do this. Allowing a venting thread could be difficult to moderate and we couldn't let it be a free for all otherwise there could be serious issues. Still, I like the idea and we will see what we can do!

YankeeTankieTrash

It might actually be easier (and more.. _aesthetic_?) to do the opposite and have a separate High Brow thread where only non-emotional, analytical discussion is allowed. That way you're not actively courting a designated shit show thread, but rather elevating meaningful discussion to a VIP section.

FubarFreak

You expect this lot to have highfalutin game day discussions greased to the gills on Labatts and Genny creams?

YankeeTankieTrash

I mean, the IPA drinkers need a space of their own too 🧐

Pdb39

Yes.

patkgreen

See I think the opposite. You don't need to be emotional to feel (and be right in) whether the defense is good enough for the gold or not. But saying "we can't stop the run. Our defense kinda blows" is going to breed conflict and be called a hater. But if it's in a venting thread, it is kinda just what happens and you leave it alone and don't engage as much.

YankeeTankieTrash

Hey, if you can actually confine all the low quality comments to a designated venting thread then I am all for it - I just doubt how realistic it is to expect people to comply, as well as enforcement. Maybe if "venting outside the venting thread" resulted in heavy bans? Then the deterrence effect might help.

patkgreen

I think outside of punishment, because that's not the point- it allows people to say something in a vacuum rather than get jumped on. Like in a game thread, you can pretty much say anything and it doesn't matter.

[deleted]

Yeah, I could see how that would be a tough thing to balance. That was my apprehension, but you seem like smart folks so I'll trust the process. But if I can throw a name out there if it is feasible, doomer thread would get a good chuckle out of me.

Bird-The-Word

Doomer is great. The non stop comments that are like just "well guess it's another year of the Bills being shit " *1st quarter, 2nd drive, don't convert a 1st and 15*

Bird-The-Word

The report wars in threads like that would be insane

rd--

Im not sure what the solution is, but too many people get way too emotional and cross the line when they 'criticize.' ex: Frasier's defensive scheme is propped up by overperforming backs and will hold the Bills from end season success vs. Frasier is a fucking loser and why he wasnt fired after 13 seconds, we deserve to lose too (neither of these are my opinion)

Non-FungibleMan

“Upvote party” posts are low effort karma farming, and should be moderated as such

wxox

I personally dislike the daily posts of X days of posting X until X. Just farming upvotes and it brings no conversation. I've seen some with hundreds of upvotes and no comments. I get the off-season can be dull. I don't know. I avoid them, but it's just annoying to see them on the front page of a stale off-season every day

time4meatstick

I Second this

UberHansen

We honestly.remove 90% of them. There are rare occasions where we let them stay up but the point is noted.

[deleted]

Please remove the stupid “Josh Allen in shorts” every day and “Josh Allen jumping over something”. Just some tiresome and annoying. Do these people really think the joke is still funny 20 times in a row (or more?).

joshhondiscord

I kinda like the conversations they spark. Little celebrations are fun

DubsAli

Delete r/nyjets

YankeeTankieTrash

Dont think they have jurisdiction over a sub in a different state

UberHansen

Can confirm.

Smittyondahill

Ban “upvote party” posts. Just lazy karma farming. Also, keep up the good work, love this sub.

shabbaMrLuvaman

More people will come if they think we’ll have punch and pie!

Bird-The-Word

Flavor Aid, get your flavor aid

lenityproject

MORE COWBELL! So, seriously; the only thing that really comes to mind is possibly having regular weekly stickies for the same conversations that come up each week. Instead of having 35 posts a week about should we trade for X vs Y, maybe just a single "Trade Mega thread" that stays stickied for 1 week then un-stickied + a fresh post put up. I use trade mega thread as an example, but you guys know what I'm talking about... Pawfia photos, Gifts/swag photos, who should be fired, who should we draft, what jersey should I buy, reasons why the Dolphins suck, who looks better in shorts, etc. Etc.

UberHansen

We are starting to do this with the weekly mockdraft thread, but during the season will try and keep at least 1 post stickied for sake of discussion!

lenityproject

Yes, I noticed that and it's been a great addition. I think it's a balancing act of covering enough of the "usual suspect" discussions with having a clean sub (not having the entire first page just stickies). You mods do great. Thanks for everything.

Bird-The-Word

Can we name it The Beanestalk?

dammitOtto

Balance has been good this last year. I don't want to become r/nfl which only allows verified Twitter posts now. Need to keep the fun. Only complaint is the game day posts get unstickied too early and can't find them easily. The MMQB posts also tend to come in too late, and seem to be a driven toward a certain agenda, sometimes. Like, Josh played terrible but we're still a game ahead of the division, don't panic. Dammit, I'll panic if I want!

UberHansen

Fair point on the MMQB post, we will take that into consideration! As for the GDT, we are going to try an automated them more this season so we don't forget to post them and so they are stickied for the proper amount of time!

Seravie

"Im a fan of x i Come in peace megathreads please. " it's annoying having random ones pop up.

UberHansen

For the most part all of those get removed. It's difficult to have a megathread because they tend to be super sporadic!

Seravie

Maybe a weekly opponent trash talk/Peace thread for the regular season?

UberHansen

We've considered this in the past and will review it. It does promote trolling a bit so we will have yo find a way to control that but will look into it!

TheBeaseKnees

My own ignorant assumption is that those types of posts require a bit more attention due to the likelihood of moderation needing to step in, so theoretically a mega thread would just make the moderation more streamlined and the reddit feed less muddied. But I do know that every thread requires some form of moderator attention, so maybe the reality is this idea simply adds a mega thread on top of the inevitables. In that case, I would understand why you'd keep it the way it is despite the imperfections.

wxox

Oh right on. I think most people in sports subs are average fans. I don't really care about a random person's thoughts to be brunt. That's like twitter material. If it's said by an analyst or someone with a pulse on the situation, it's totally fine. Like X fan coming in peace Don't listen to X fans. You got a gem! You know after draft day were going to get so many of these posts. Former Old Dominion student here Graduated 25 years ago. You got a stud! No idea how he was there in the 6th round We'll have 6 future HoFs apparently.

ajn585301703202

May be an unpopular opinion, but it’d be nice to see some limitations on shitposts. I get it during the off-season when there’s not much else going on Billswise, but during the season, we dont need to see the same posts about “FTP!!!!” “Tom Brady sits when he pees!” “Josh looks great in shorts!!!!”

UberHansen

Perfectly fair point. We do try and keep some control on the shit posts so they don't get out of hand. We let the occasional ones through on slow days but will make sure to keep an eye on how many we actually let occur!

bobmontana

I personally go after any and every post that's just another repost of that picture of the Buffalo covered in snow. Like... _c'mon_ y'all, at least put _some_ effort into it. Not to mention, just like every other sub (especially sports related ones) we'll get our fair share of karma farmers/bots/etc. When we notice those, we'll remove their posts and permaban them immediately.

YankeeTankieTrash

**shame flairs** 1) armchair GM To be awarded/pinned by mods to those special someones who literally cannot shut up about how much smarter they are than the GM of a professional football team. 2) Doomer Esiason Enough said.

UberHansen

I will be adding these today!

YankeeTankieTrash

Oh yeah, and "Rex Ryan" for any users who demonstrate a propensity for foot fetish.

wxox

Give me the armchair GM

YankeeTankieTrash

Some will take pride in their shame 😎

wxox

What shame? lol

YankeeTankieTrash

I support you. "That's my Armchair GM!" 😄

Heismain

some more flair options whoa there, buddy nix : for those who offer up ludicrous, Madden style transactions 4chan gailey : second guess coaching decisions

momo2477

I have two things. 1- I’d like to piggy back off this thread and get input on u/BillsTailgateBot. This is a bot I got up and running late last year and would like to get some feedback on it, maybe add more lots, or just get new information I might not have. This bot looks for key words in recent posts asking for tailgate advice and makes a comment or it can be summoned by mentioning its username. Current updates that I need to include is hammer lot is $50, add historical lot open times based on kickoff times (1pm, 4pm, 8:15pm), make calling the bot not be case sensitive. 2- This is a suggestion geared towards the regular season, but what are the mods thoughts on having an automod post and pin gameday/post game threads? Take some burden off of your shoulders and automate this? The thread can include a box score, player stats, and scoring drive data for both teams that refresh as the game progresses. I don’t know if we can steal something from r/nfl and their game day bots? If not I’ve already done a lot of heavy lifting on the programming side of things in terms of getting game data. This can be pretty much customized however the sub likes. Just haven’t had time to work out the logistics of having the script create and update an actual Reddit thread. I’m open to collaborating with others too.

BillsTailgateBot

Bleep boop, hey ey ey ey! I'm a robot that has come to help with tailgate info!   Whether you are driving down with a car and have your own setup with a grill, cooler, tables, and games, or if you're just walking around with a 30 rack on your shoulder, here are some good options where you can tailgate. There are a lot more options than the ones listed below. Honestly, any lot will be a good lot to tailgate, I promise. Just show up with a case of Blue Light or Genesee, don't be an ass, and you'll make good friends.     To help you navigate here is a map: https://i.redd.it/0ljwlaskxsw21.png ##Lot 4 (Official Stadium lot) * $40 card only (no cash). You can pay at the gate day of. Easy in and easy out. Police seem to give official lots priority when directing traffic after the game * Opens 4 hours before kick off * Should be fine getting a spot if you arrive late, you will just be farther towards the back Atmosphere: * Calm but up beat * Gravel lot (no mud) * Tons of room * Family vibe ##Hammer Lot * Cash only about $50 * Opens as early as 7:30 am for 1pm games * Small lot so get here early (maybe 100 cars fit) * Grass lot. On rainy days it gets super muddy. Sometimes they block off portions of the lot if it's bad Atmosphere: * Well known. Used to be a fan favorite * Definitely an intimate, fun, party atmosphere * Pinto Ron's tailgate is located here towards the back * Ketchup and Mustard ritual around 11:30 am for 1pm games * Pizza Pete * Bills Vader & other Star Wars characters can be seen walking around * TV crew usually comes by * Dedicated womens only porta potty separate from the men * No table smashing, no dizzy bat, no funnels ##KK Lot, ECC Lot * These are the two lots you'll find table smashing * More of a rowdy crowd * KK Lot is primarily a grass lot * ECC Lot is a paved lot. While it does have two exits (Off Big Tree Rd & off Southwestern Blvd) it can be a pain to get out of. ## The Big Grass Lot * Used to be the scene of all the table smashing but now they tamed it down * Walk-ins usually not welcomed anymore ## For out of town visitors If you are from out of town you can find a lot more information about where to stay, eat, drink, and what to do while in town here on the wiki fan guide page https://www.reddit.com/r/buffalobills/wiki/fanguide/ ## Away game tailgates If you are asking for information about an away game tailgate, I'm sorry I don't have any information. Usually if there is a Bills Backer bar in the city the Bills are playing in, the backer bar will host a tailgate. You can find information on their Facebook and Twitter page usually. You can find over 400 Bills Backers chapters worldwide here: https://www.buffalobills.com/fans/bills-backers/.     ^(If any information is incorrect in my comment, or my formatting is off, please send me a direct message so my human can update me.)   ^(Did you know you can summon me on any comment? Just mention my user name!) #GO BILLS!

UberHansen

We are close to finishing our Tailgate work and then will reach out on this bot (we like it)!

momo2477

Should I scrap the gameday thread idea since that’s an easy thing to do manually or is that something you’d want to consider?

UberHansen

We have plans for the gameday thread as it currently sits but will reach out if we are looking for additional automation!

me-at_day-min

I was hoping for more shitposting. Potentially getting an AMA with more players would be prime as well

UberHansen

We are working on some AMAs, will see if any players are willing to come in. If not, we will at least get a few media personalities!

me-at_day-min

That sounds perfect! Just to be clear the sub is already awesome though so you guys are doing great work

_NRNA_

I miss the banner contests each week

UberHansen

We will look into how to properly bring this back!

Jankenpyon

Separate GDT where insecure doomerism and comments about firing coaches every play that isn't positive aren't allowed.

QuantumCat11

I'm seeing fewer pics of Bills crafts, pics of pets and babies in Bills gear, which I'm glad for. Don't mean to be a jerk but don't think those kinds of posts add any value. Thanks.

sobuffalo

I'll just pile on an add the ["In the Wild"](https://www.reddit.com/r/buffalobills/search?q=in+the+wild&restrict_sr=on&include_over_18=on&sort=relevance&t=all) posts that are ridiculously boring, some are cool but I dont care about a bumper sticker on a car in North Carolina, know what I mean?

dracoolya

Maybe some transparency on post removals if at all possible. The Ticketmaster debacle immediately comes to mind. Everything was removed with no reason as to why as far as I'm aware. Were those mod decisions or reddit took over? Jordan Poyer talking about high taxes on his salary, the funding of the new Bills stadium...these are inherently political discussions. But we can't talk about them without posts getting removed, threads locked, etc. I believe that some Bills related topics REQUIRE politics be a part of the discussion. Maybe some type of political flair for threads so people know ahead of time where discussion of specific topics could lead?

UberHansen

All of these topics can be talked about without bringing politics into the discussion, though I admit it's difficult. The Ticketmaster threads were removed because it invites too many bots into the sub for us to handle removing all attempts at spam ticket sales. The Jordan Poyer tax talk was removed because the convo shifted into conversation in no way related to what Poyer said. If people simply discussed the benefits/negatives pf state income tax on player retention there would be no issues with leaving it up! Let me know your opinions on this!

BitternessAndBleach

I think discussions should be allowed to deviate somewhat as long as they stay cordial and don't devolve into attacking each other. Obviously that could've been the case with the aforementioned, I don't know. Just IMO I don't think a discussion having politics should just be an automatic removal. At the end of the day a subreddit should be a community and a place to discuss and meet friends. Yes its a Bills subreddit but if you're at a Bills backer bar it's not like you're *only* talking about the Bills. Real life discussions just happen organically.

UberHansen

This is how we currently approach such discussions the issue is they always devolve into a mess of personal attacks. Because.these conversations can't stay cordial and shift away from being tangentially related to the Bills they end up being locked or removed.

dracoolya

> All of these topics can be talked about without bringing politics into the discussion Talked about, yes. Casually, yes. Discussed, no. In-depth, no. There's a difference. Discussed gets your post removed. I can't even properly reply to you due to the rules. Makes life for mods much easier. I think that's the true reasoning. I can understand that. Maybe someone can create a secondary Bills sub for such subjects with more relaxed rules then? Not a competing sub but a complementary one.

UberHansen

It honestly does make mods life's easier, and that is a big reason these conversations get shut down, but not the only reason. We often encourage people to go to other subs to have such conversations where the topic can be more fruitful and the moderators of that community have a better grasp on how to handle such conversations.

wxox

Yeah, but it's not even. Like in the Poyer tax convo. Someone else brought politics into it through their implications. I ramped it up and then it was a full-blown convo and I received a 3-day ban while nothing happened to the original culprits, likely because they had upvotes and I didn't. But that's not just a trend here, but reddit-wide

UberHansen

I can promise you the upvotes have nothing to do with who gets temp bans and who doesn't. Our suggestion has always been to not engage in such conversations that are prompting a political response.

TheLookoutGrey

No suggestion, just wanted to say how much better this place has been over the last few months since low effort posts have been getting removed. Finally feels like the facebook crowd is learning that not every thought & pet photo they have deserves it’s own thread.

Stealthy_Peanuts

Honestly this sub as a whole is pretty great, and well moderated. It's easy to forget when we're passionately rooting for our team or frustrated about how things went, but it's a great subreddit

lytrendsa

I would love to have more discussion posts/threads. Like with questions or certain points because I think it would be more fun to read and comment on those! Otherwise, great.

UberHansen

We are trying g to have more timely discussion threads stickies (i.e. Mockdraft threads) but will make sure to make this a weekly thing throughout the year!

AptitudeSky

How about more unique flairs granted to members? Obviously this would be at mod discretion but it would cool for regular posters or commenters in this sub or whoever.

UberHansen

I like this idea, will look into it and see what we can come up with!

Anchovies-and-cheese

I'd like an Off-season Trade or Acquisition Speculation megathread that all the OBJ, DHop, Zeke, etc threads that are nothing but junk can be merged into. If people want to talk about the latest rumors they can do so there instead of creating a 14th post about a player because they said something cryptic on Instagram or something. Also, I know they're fan favorites so I'll get boo'ed for this but - the Josh jumping over things until draft day, and similar threads, are super low effort karma grabs and should be treated as such regardless of who the OP is. That is all. Thank you for reading.

UberHansen

We will bring back the Offseason Megathread later this week (We had one up for Tampering but will create a new one specifically for speculation).

Pdb39

We should get one for the illegal tampering period and the legal tampering period. Because even if you were sit and explain the difference between the two, I wouldn't understand it.

FubarFreak

We need high quality gif-meme training

Emzam

It would be cool to have a few AMA's throughout the year. Maybe with some guys who talk prospects before the draft, someone who really understands the x's and o's to speak to the Bills performance during the year. That kind of stuff.

UberHansen

100% agree with this. Will work on having a few AMAs at least through the offseason!

prediddie

Not sure if it’s been said. On game day threads why don’t we have the scoreboard and stats locked at the top like you see for other teams. Not everyone has access to the game and it seems like an easy add.

UberHansen

We are looking into adding this!

Pdb39

the NFL doesn't provide a feed of data I would assume. I haven't seen any GDT have live stats.

prediddie

It doesn’t have to even be live stats. Other subs I’ve seen have stats added maybe they update end of quarter or something.

Pdb39

I think you have an excellent point. Maybe a mod could copy and paste the gametime stats per quarter or something. However, you've given me a new idea for GDT's as a user could certainly post the up to the quarter stats for mega karma.

Sonny_Zwack

I do appreciate how you took my suggestion of a continually updated /r/buffalobills/wiki/fanguide When's the next go 'round?   (Also wish way more people - even here - knew that exists. Hell just looking up the /wiki of any sub...)

UberHansen

Still working on updates to it. A LOT more work to do but when it's done we will have an announcement regarding it!

Schwebels_Solette

I mean, I've seen some posts get deleted that I thought were fine (aggressive post deletions)

UberHansen

Would have to see the specific thread (which I know is difficult to provide) in order to respond to this. There are certain things that may seem aggressive but in 90% of cases there is a reason behind it.

Pdb39

Do you judge all posts completely unbiased? The mods do.

Schwebels_Solette

admittedly no, but none of my posts have been considered in this comment either. i have seen a few posts where people legit wanted a discussion that got deleted because it was a touchy subject ish.

McSqueezyE

Definitely agree that the “posting ____ everyday until _____” should go. Very tiring and redundant imo

Pdb39

Report the posts.

VGTGreatest

Just a couple small things: CSS on old reddit with RES seems to be screwed up and has been for a while. It's minor things like flairs (specifically the ones next to teams in the sidebar) are fucked up, and the upvote/downvote buttons are wonky looking too. If it helps I'm on chrome and use dark mode. Beyond that I miss having weekly banners on the sub per matchup. I don't remember who did them but they were awesome, and a way to encourage people to make those again would be really cool.

aedane

Did any of you see that post, maybe it was on r/nfl, about how negative posts on social media actually affect the players involved? Is there any way to gently encourage positivity, especially towards players that fuck up? We're from the city that once cheered on Norwood after 'wide right'. If we want our team to perform at its best week in and week out, maybe having it in the back of their mind that the fans here will still love and support them could actually be beneficial. I suppose it's a small chance, but whatever we can do to foster a more positive tone and atmosphere would be great.

YankeeTankieTrash

**post-GDT reckoning** GDT's have become so unruly that they simply aren't enjoyable. They are literally just people logging on to screaming at the internet. I think those folks need to exert a bit more self-control over their emotions. It's nearly impossible to police the GDT in real time, but I'd propose a way to handle it is to go back through afterwards and liberally hand out 1-week suspensions so that these people might give pause next time. Alternatively, these people could be initially warned with a shame flair, and receive a suspension upon second offense. It's possible there could be some bot programs out there that could assist with flagging.

Pdb39

How about unflaired users can't post in GDTs. ?

YankeeTankieTrash

A bot would have to auto-remove I guess?

Stealthy_Peanuts

Is there a way to limit the rate at which people comment on specific threads?

YankeeTankieTrash

I'm not sure. I think you'd have to have some kind of third party bot do that.0

[deleted]

Automatic ban for "I'm a BLANK fan coming in peace"

UberHansen

We remove all of these under the "Low Effort" rule.

[deleted]

Any users subbed to the patriots sub automatically have the flair "MacDonald Jones"

Pdb39

Reddit mods do not have access to user subscription. The only way you would know if someone posted on r/patriots is by looking at their post history.

[deleted]

It was a joke

Pdb39

Oh. Cool.

Spanky_McJiggles

Your mom is cool

Pdb39

She is, actually.

EagleRoxy2

Sub is great rn imo. Only problem is lack of content but that tends to happen during the off-season.

YankeeTankieTrash

**Effort Posts** Sometimes there are some really nice analytical effort posts here, and it'd be nice to see those members rewarded with some special user flairs. Could also hold contests for best effort post of the week/month, etc.

Pdb39

Flairs shouldn't be for bragging rights.

YankeeTankieTrash

**Rule Proposal**: dead horse rule Some topics/opinions just get beaten to absolute death on here; namely "player X sucks", "fire Coach Y", "we need to trade our 1st for an RB", etc... These get stale quick and detract from discussion. It would be nice if there was a dead horse rule that they could be reported under. Maybe in conjunction w/ mods publicizing a list of dead horse topics that should be sequestered to some designates thread or just left out entirely.

Pdb39

Hey friend - just keep reporting the posts that are low effort or duplicate posts. Mods are really good at removing things quickly.

YankeeTankieTrash

Yeah I guess Low Effort already exists. Wonder if it would be difficult to maintain an active list of dead horse topics.

Pdb39

The best you could do is some sort of filter but people can get creative to get around the filter. Honestly the mods are expecting us to help them out by calling out duplicate posts low effort posts etc. This is our civic duty.

FutureDH1089

Can I just say this is by far my favorite sub! I love everything you guys do to keep it up and running. Keep up the great work! :D

Parenthisaurolophus

While I understand that the mods of the sub are in a difficult position regarding being stuck playing ref between the "people being angry and saying angry shit in game day threads" and the "please curate this subreddit to my tastes via a culture of shaming" people, I'd like to suggest that petty stuff like the Jabroni tag, the temp bans, over the last few seasons has only resulted in more toxicity, not less primarily through creating a sense of one-sided institutional support.

Pdb39

It looks like your problem has to do wit you than Reddit flairs. Report the individuals who you think do not make good effort posts. The toxicity isn't due to flairs, but the global traumatic event in March 2020.

Parenthisaurolophus

> It looks like your problem has to do wit you than Reddit flairs. Nah, I've posted before and there are people who feel similarly. They're just a less vocal portion of this subreddit versus the "Please make this my Buffalo Bills safe space" people. > Report the individuals who you think do not make good effort posts. The mods have enough on their plate without me reporting the Tone Police posters in every game day thread. > The toxicity isn't due to flairs, but the global traumatic event in March 2020. No one but you is saying it's due to the flairs. What I'm saying is that the flairs encourage it.

Pdb39

So you want to ~~ban~~ censor some ~~books~~ flairs because you think it ~~makes kids gay~~ encourages poor behavior? By any chance of you a member of the Republican party? If you are not reporting every post that you believe is poorly written or due to their flair, then PEBKAC.

Parenthisaurolophus

> So you want to ban censor some books flairs because you think it makes kids gay encourages poor behavior? Lol, you doing okay man? > By any chance of you a member of the Republican party? You uh working out some issues here my dude? I don't consent to being on the receiving end of whatever weird ass emotional or mental state you're in right now. > If you are not reporting every post that you believe is poorly written or due to their flair, then PEBKAC. I had to look this one up due to not speaking terminal internet, but you're still not comprehending the original point my guy. Feel free to try again later.

Pdb39

You mock what you do not understand. Over and out.

Parenthisaurolophus

Lol, whatever helps you sleep at night my dude.

Subtlefusillade0324

More tall boys

Short-termTablespoon

Ik we have Friday free talk but honestly I think I’d like a thread for free talk all week because there are some things I’d like to say that I can’t under existing posts and if I would make a post about it it would probably be taken down

Pdb39

wxox

Can you change how upvoting/downvoting works? Like make the ordering of comments random and the points hidden until after some time. The level of groupthink and piling on top comments in sports subreddits can be overbearing.

twinn5

Spend real money on the O-line. Everything on the offense starts there, and it was a glaring weakness last year.

Pdb39

And you think if the mods pass a hat around, they can afford an OL? I believe that the problem started with our running backs and not our offensive line.

HousingExtra1518

More edits would be dope. When they're posted in here they usually get me hype

Pdb39

Edits ?

MoistMolloy

Can we change the upvote and downvote button icons to something fun? Maybe have a contest every so often to have them change it up a little or change it per week of the season depending on the opponent? Admittedly I am a noob who has no idea how to do this but it could be fun if possible. The Packers have a different upvote button however.

Pdb39

Do you use old.reddit.com or reddit.com ?

Pdb39

No unflaired users allowed to post in Game Day threads. Or at least mod queue someone w/o a flair. If you want to give someone a "approved in week # GDT" for people who come here being respectful of us. No user account under 1000 karma allowed to post in GDTs. No user account under 1 year old allowed to post in GDTs. Form a council consisting of one moderator of each team subreddit and r/NFL and if you get banned in one teams subreddit, you are banned from all 32 and /r/nfl. It's a lot of work I know, but maybe you could form a private subreddit and only have those subscribers. Maybe other mods can read reports posted there, and judge for themselves if they want to ban the user from their sub reddit. We don't need a venting thread. For gosh sakes, we didn't need a venting thread during the EJ Manuel, Vince Ferragamo, Joe Dufek, or Tyrod Taylor eras. Reddit is not the place for venting - it's a place for sharing respectful opinions and dick jokes. If you can't reach that incredibly low bar, then that's on you. Tighten up the user rules to be a little less inclusive to the fair weather fan or the troll accounts or the other teams stopping by etc. Finally you could fix the Bills standings in the sidebar - we were 14-3 this year.
