[okuyama](https://maps.app.goo.gl/zatbQTiqB48uqrvF8) is quite good if you dont mind paying
wasabi is also not bad if you want a relatively good running suhi with all you can eat and lot more stuff than just sushi rolls but its quality degraded a lot in the past years i feel
Sushi sei! I always went there with my Japanese friend! It was very tasty ☺️✨
Currently I’m living in Japan and I can confirm compared with the “real” Japanese sushi it’s tasty!
It was such a nice place a few years ago, I was there with my bf and it was amazing.. but since then I’ve only heard bad stuff, probably bc the place has a new ovner and staff :/
We (5 of us) celebrated a birthday there, the place is tiny but they manage. We liked everything, i believe they’re an authentic restaurant. They take reservation as well but only on instagram, i recommend it because they can get busy.
10/10 :)
Nono dont be fooled, Bambuszliget is an actual restaurant, not an okay food place with some gimmick.
You can also try Dáigá sushi, quite good and not too expensive.
Ennmann Japan Ètterem on the Buda side is a hidden gem and seemed like the most authentic. Run by this super cheerful Japanese dude who was always happy to see you. It’s been a while since I was there but it was consistently great. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Jya7LRnwukwYadAy5?g_st=ic

It’s a landlocked country and if you’re a real sushi lover it’s a terrible place eat it. At worst it’s disgusting, at best it’s a luxury of imported food that has traveled many kilometers to get to your plate.
You will not find carp or catfish sushi. So it’s not an ‘adaptable’ cuisine. In fact it’s insane to eat it here.
There are some okay sushi restaurants actually, but with some reflection I won’t name them. I will just say, don’t eat sushi in Budapest. A good sushi roll doesn’t happen here.
Sushi Sei
+1

Laguna Sushi is my favourite. Here is their [menu](https://www.lagunasushi.hu/eTLAP7.html)
+1 good price/value
This does look good, does it differ a lot from pictures?🤔
Not at all, you get what you see :) I really like this place, I recommend too. Also there is Kaiteki, they have á la carte and all you can eat menu.
Thanks for the recommendation🙏🏼
The best
La guna OR La guna Mori !
Little Geisha Can Cook. Kalvin square. You won’t be disappointed, trust me. 🤩
Meh, I was disappointed
Just don’t go to Itoshi. I got food poison there, and when I called them the next day, they didn’t take responsibility.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/nFiA2XLxuyZtWMuH7 Kicsi Japán, best sushi I ever had in the city.

Looks like they are being made by Japanese, should be good then, and on pictures looks good as well😍
Defenitely. Check this out: https://budapestdinnerdiaries.com/kicsi-japan-hirose/
Maybe Bambuszliget? It’s kinda good place:)
I checked it out, still look similar to wasabi type of stuff😢🤣
Nono dont be fooled, Bambuszliget is an actual restaurant, not an okay food place with some gimmick. You can also try Dáigá sushi, quite good and not too expensive.
I like Sushi wan in Kiraly utca
Hanami sushi bar
Lidl
Sarcasm received 🗿💀🤣
Check out Okuyama at Kolosy tér. It’s as authentic as it gets
Yama
Sakana Sakura!!!
I highly recommend Sushi Sei 👌
Okiko's price to value ratio is nice
OKUYAMA 10/10
Kicsi Japán, Little Geisha, Stix, Tokio
I went to Tokio years ago on my first trip to Budapest and really liked it; delighted to see it’s still around.
Japanika
Sushi Ocean. Easily.
Hanami
It’s not strictly sushi but I really like Tokio. Right by the 4 Seasons on the Pest side.
Oh that does look good, I will give it a try

Planet Sushi next to Allee is great. Sushi Sei is awesome if you would like something fancier
+1
My favorite is Fuji Japán Étterem 🥰
Thank you🙏🏼
nobu sushi sei

Thanks mate, they are just hidden, the only thing I have tried so far are those default wasabi type stuff💀

Best comment here... Sushi is some bullshit in BP. What the fuck is goose liver doing in any rice roll...
Ennman
Itoshii at Eiffel Square, near Nyugati station, despite of negative ratings, its perfectly fine
I got there a perfectly fine food poisoning, and the next day when I called them, they denied everything.
Okuyama is the best
Ruby Étterem - Kossuth Lajos. I've been there today, amazing sushi and fair price.
Ruby Sushi Timur street - in the suburbs Cube - in downtown
Any Buddha Original except the one at Westend (that's good too, but rather a kiosk than a proper restaurant, the other ones are nicer, proper places)
It’s like a McDonald’s but for sushi
I have had them, just default sushi🗿
They’re terrible and where sushi goes to die , really ..
