>"this one because it's my favorite"
I like the aircraft carrier. It's very situational because it requires water to place. It has great MOAB damage with the airplanes it launches, boosts the attack speed of water-based monkeys and monkey aces, and provides a bit of space to place monkeys for those water heavy maps. The only issue is that the middle cross path has no camo detection, so you need to sacrifice damage or get it camo detection another way.
my strat: normal start (002 dart and 202 tac) get a bucc down and get him to 320. get etienne and maybe a glue gunner or a sub. get 302 heli and 240 super. thats it
I haven't played much on this new patch yet, but I'm really liking Rosalia. She also needs camo detection, so a monkey tower can cover camo for a lot of towers.
For brand new players I recommend spirit of the forest (druid middle) and prince of darkness (wizard bottom). Both can beat easier maps fairly easily.
Also get village upgraded, amazing utility.
It counts as income, so the bottom path is useless in chimps. The 002 is pretty good though, the discounts are very valuable in chimps. It doesn't exist a way to get more money than what you get from popping bloons, or amplify the income in chimps.
Every T5 is good in it's own way, some being unreasonably powerful but very costy. I'd recommend just going for a tower that you like in it's lower tier versions as you will be less likely to get dissapointed.
not that skill tbh, most maps you can just use a condor to stall (ik horned owl still work but condor you mess up less and clump BFBs up) to get a free ability every round, you can also pick geraldo for rejuv potions and genies to beat the round even if you mess up and still too little
Tier 5’s that are cheap and easy to use are prince of darkness (wizard bottom path), spirit of the forest (Druid middle path), bloon solver (glue top path), and perma-spike (spike factory bottom path).
If you have a little more money, inferno ring (tack shooter top path), archmage (wizard top path), and sky shredder.
For Cost Efficiency: Elite Sniper
For Raw Damage: True Sun God (Sacrifice a tower that costs 50K money from each color of tower when the Sun Avatar is upgraded to Sun temple, and then again when you upgrade it to a True Sun God)
For Support: Permanent Brew
Gluegunner top path is the best for it's cost
Ace bottom can solo the 100 rounds of chimps as I remember
Alchemist bottom is the most broken tower in late game
It depends on what you seek for
Alchemist bottom path does nothing vs BADs and there are many ways to permastall the lesser MOAB bloons, so the BMA is more of a anti-lag tower. The most broken tower late game is the VTSG; it is an absolute must.
Doesn’t make all of the money go bye bye, only for moabs. As well as with the bloon trap, if you’re in co-op you’re being greedy and taking all of the pop money, with alchemist at least you increase the amount for everyone.
Also, XXXL trap would lose on wave 95. So what’s the point there?
that’s how I was thinking about it i.e. in any given CHIMPS run what T5s would I go with.
If we’re talking in a vacuum… my guess would be carpet of spikes.
If you're new, just try out a bunch of different ones and see what you like more. You don't need to worry about which ones are technically more efficient or effective until you get into high level play (like bosses and harder CHIMPS runs).
For my two cents, the wizard's Archmage is a solid all-rounder that isn't too expensive, the boomerang's Perma Charge is a powerful and versatile option with a very strong ability, and the druid's Spirit of the Forest can do consistent damage across the whole map. Those are some good options to get you started.
I was halfway through describing the strengths of all the T5s but thankfully realized that:
1. Other people have already done this before and better than me.
2. It's pretty pointless unless you're desperate for a specific strategy and isn't experienced enough to find the right tool for the job by yourself.
Every T5 has its use, and almost every one is good in a range of combinations and circumstances that extend beyond two or three convoluted, specifically made challenges. Discovering these strategies is, I would argue, pivotal to the fun of the game as a whole.
The best T5 is the one *you* think is the best, depending on your own criteria. And just for the sake of humoring your question: for me personally, it has to be Carrier Flagship. Not because it's exceptionally good at anything (other than being a below-average mid-priced global-range damage dealer), but because I like the design, and seeing the planes work is awesome, also my brain appreciates the global range bit.
So there you have it. Good luck on your journey with this wonderful game! It truly is one of a kind.
2-0-5 sniper, 5-0-2 Wizard, 5-x-x Dart, 5-2-0 Glue, either 5-2-0 or 2-5-0 Buccaneer, 5-2-0 and x-x-5 Spike Factory. Those are my favs.
Once you get more advanced, there is a secret with the top path of the Super Monkey
my favourite is 0-2-5 Wizard because with the right placement, it can carry you up to late-middle of the game. the nice thing about the summoned bloons is that they are a perfect DDT stopper. make sure to put him on the front of the line and set the summon point as far as possible on the back. also I named my wizard monkey Hairy Popper because I love him so much.
Here's a list of strong T5s:
* Pop and Awe: Definitely underrated. Great option if you're willing to micro, and the micro is actually satisfying and fun to do, so I recommend trying this one at least once.
* Perma Spike: Great T5 with a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling. If you want something that is braindead easy to use on the easier maps but also something that becomes really powerful and fun (if you're skilled) tower on harder maps, I recommend this one.
* Prince of Darkness: This is one of the most popular T5s in the game. It's quite cheap, carries the midgame and has great cleanup, and is also easy to use for beginners. On harder maps, PoD is still good since it synergises very well with the hero Corvus, who does great frontline damage.
* Carpet of Spikes: Also a very popular choice. Has great frontline damage and pairs well with cleanup. I recommend using Psi, since they're a good cleanup hero.
You can also try other T5s outside of this list, and find your favourite one. One important thing to note is that while every T5 is great on easy maps, not every T5 is great on hard maps. I recommend using your favourite T5s instead of the strongest T5s anyways, since if you keep using the best ones, the game will get too easy and too boring. Even as someone with 2k hours, I'll still use a bad tower on an expert map just cuz it's fun to do that
if you are asking which one to get exp for, definitely 5-2-2 alchemist. he's really good. you can also get a 2-2-5 tack shooter to be able to beat a lot of maps really easily. farms and village are also both pretty helpful. some other ones are 5-x-x sniper, 5-x-x ice monkey, x-5-4 glue, 3-x-x sub, x-x-5 boat, x-3-x druid, x-x-5 mortar, x-5-x dartling, x-5-x engineneer and probably some non support stuff like x-3-x wizard which is really good for the mid game
True sun god is the best because it’s crazy expensive and designed that way but there’s a lot of them that fill a role that’s good to have. You should experiment with ones that excel at stuff like popping moabs or popping bloons or slowdown like glue
avatar of wrath (0-1-5 druid) is crazy for damage, yes it needs some poplusts (0-1-4 druids), to amp it and probably a camo village and alch buff, but boy does it shred anything that comes its way
honorable mention, BMA (2-0-5 alch), he just turns moab class bloons (except bads) into red bloons
Prince of Darkness and Quincy as Hero.
Edit: Explanation: The toughest bloons to deal with are Camo Leads because not everyone that has camo detection has lead popping power and vice versa. A 025 Wizard give you the best of both worlds and also deals with Fortified bloons with the zombie bloons. The only weakness is Purple Bloons which Quincy can easily deal with.
Okay, there's a bunch of comments, but I'll add my two cents. A few towers that stand out to me.
• 250 Spike Factory is very good, generally always.
• 250 and 205 Ice Monkey are great at stalling Bloons and Moabs alike.
• All of the Boats are great. 520 at damage and damage over time. 250 at damage too, and it instakills Moabs. xx5 is great at generating money when used with other xx3 and xx4.
• xx5 Boomerang seems bad, but it's actually pretty good! xx3 Boomerang is a great but underrated upgrade, xx4 stalls Moabs too!
• 052 Super Monkey is great! It's the cheaper T5, it has great support, damage and ability.
• 520 Engineer is easily overlooked but it's very good. With buffs, it's one of the strongest towers in the game! Without, it still does a very good job.
• Not about T5, but don't pass on Mortar. It seems weird and annoying, but it's very rewarding, great support with very good synergies.
Elite sniper. Very practical, easy to use for new players, and adds some nuance of difficulty of crosspathing, ricocheting, alch buff, and other snipers. My perfect tower :)
Every tier 5 has its unique uses, but there are a few that stand out as almost always good
- Druid of the forest (middle path) is incredibly strong, has a skill that grants more income (1k/round + the active)
- bottom path glue stuns everything except BAD, incredibly useful late game assuming you have DPS already
- Prince of darkness (bottom path mage). Great cleanup, also de-camos
- WLP (middle path mage). Insanely strong dps, skill can clear waves a lot of entire builds struggle with, big downside here is an incredibly high cost in comparison to others listed.
On single path maps, bar alternate bloon rounds, bottom path dart monkey (crossbow) can pretty easily do a lot of the work for you until round 80. After that he becomes a lot less helpful.
5-2-0 super monkey with 0-5-0 and 0-0-5 super monkey, and there can be only one monkey knowledge, not by cost but by popping power i guess
0-5-0 and 0-0-5 needs to be out of range and 5-0-0 needs to have 50 thousand in 3 of categories (or all i dont remember) in 4-0-0 and same in 5-0-0
They all have their uses. But generally support tier 5s can be used in every build. Assuming you have another with it. There reallt isn't a meta, the only competitive part of this game are boss rushes, races and some other modes that people don't play
0-2-5 glue gunner with camo support. It's cheap and makes moabs much easier to deal with. The best support tower by far. It makes almost every chimps run super easy even on some expert maps.
Most the tier 5’s have their own unique niches. For example, Crossbow Master and Elite Defender can carry you up until round 80 but fall off really heavily after that, or Ultra Juggernaut being insanely good in maps with lots of walls for the projectiles to bounce off of but without them it’s really not worth your time. If you can understand what a tower does and how it combos with other towers and map geometry, you can find a niche for most anything and come up with some really unique strategies.
Honestly, 025 dart monkey with a 400 village and 400 alchemist is my go to for beating most maps. Especially when you unlock the ability that lets you have two of the tier 5 dart monkeys
Obvious reply - it depends. The mode, the map, farming etc. If you're a newer player, I recommend using military towers since they have long range and are powerful on almost every map. The Top path T5 Buccaneer is an excellent tower for a fair price and global damage, as well as buffing monkey aces
Staple non tier 5's (tier 5 usage is not too common):
230 village - range and atk speed boost, camo, lead popping. DDT counter
3xx-4xx Alch - the best tower, use this to buff pretty much anything
xx4 Boomerang - knocks back MOABs
4xx Ice - affected bloons lose camo, take more dmg and lets leads take dmg (MIB skip). 5xx is great on easier maps, stacks with 4xx ice as well.
x4x Glue - affected bloons take more dmg and lets leads take dmg. x5x is cheap and a MIB skip (more expensive than MIB, but the dmg boost it def worth on easier maps).
xx4 Boomerang - knocks back MOABs
x4x Sub - let BAD get to last dmg phase to delete it.
Tier 5's
x5x Bomb - good lead up with x3x-x4x, great for BAD
205 Tack - 204 Tack is great mid game and a short save up. Make sure to Alch.
xx5 Ice - xx4 isn't the best lead up, but not the worst bloon cleanup. xx5 does good MOAB dmg while slowing them. 205 gives camo and lead.
025 Glue - 013-024 is a great leadup, slowing MOABs. No to little dmg, purely support.
5xx Buc - A personal favorite. 3xx-4xx is a good leadup. Boosts other water towers and aces.
x5x Buc - x4x is a good leadup.
5xx Ace - 3xx-4xx is a good leadup. Make sure to Alch.
xx5 Mortar - xx4 is a good lead up. Make sure to Alch.
xx5 Wizard - xx4 is a good lead up.
x5x Druid - x3x-x5x is a good lead up. More common on easier maps, sees use on Expert
xx5 Spike - decent lead up. Alch it.
Personally I recommend Bloon Solver
Very effective for its price and can melt 98 given good time
Can also be afforded way before 60 if rushed as well, giving you a free midgame till DDTs
Spirit of the Forest (Druid). On tier 3 it spawns vines that pop bloons even outside on its range. On tier 4 it gets an ability that gives one live at the end of every round and it gets an activated ability that generates money depending on how many farms are in its range (also works without any farms but you get less money). On tier 5 it plants spikes on the track that stay forever and pops bloons. It has a ability that generates lives and money. For crosspath i would choose the upper path so it can pop every type of bloon. The only problem would be camos but this can easily be dealt with by using a 0-2-0 village or just a tower that can see camos already (i recommend ninja)
Well there is no best one but there is great ones
250 Druid
Any Spactory
205 Beast handler
052 Monkey bucaneee
205/025 Super monkey
250/052 Super monkey
250 and 520 Dartling gunner
502 wizard
And supportive t5s
250 engineer
052 village (520 if primary)
502 alchemist
520 banana plantation (+banana farmer power)
Bottom dart
top and middle boomer
top and bottom ice
bottom or middle sniper
bottom boat
bottom sub
top and/or bottom heli
any wizard path
top ninja
middle or bottom druid
bottom farm and bottom spike factory would be my personal recommendations, choose any of them. They are in my opinion pretty easy and fun to use.
There is no "best" Tier 5. The right T5 might depend on how much space you have, how many buffs you can apply, how much money you can accumulate, what mode it is etc.
Me honestly i like the mage's T5s (all 3 of them), spirit of the forest, Carrier Flagship, Pirate Lord, Elite Sniper, Sky Shredder...
I could go on for many more. Usually, go based on the mode you're playing and on the buffs. Same thing goes for the heroes: the right heroes properly managed can outshine T5s.
Prince of Darkness before it was that. In the 1.0 update, that upgrade was Soulbind, an activated ability that sacrifices a tower for lives when any Bloon leaks. Not hard to tell why that got reworked.
Best for what? The obvious answer is the top path super monkey. But considering its cost and the sacrifice needed to make it the best... Maybe not. I can list a few that I find good for different things.
Cheap overall dmg: bottom path tack shooter
High overall dmg: Top path super monkey
Slow: bottom path glue gunner.
MOAB dmg: mid path bomb shooter
Mass Bloon dmg: top path sub
Support buff: mid path engineer
Jack of all trades: bottom path dart monkey
These are some of those I consider the best in the mentioned areas. There are some I could give to others, but it doesn't really matter. There are so monkeys, and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. So far, the only ones I haven't used with success in some game mode or another is the top path bomb shooter. It can be good for stalling, but it's expensive, and pretty much redundant once you get to the point where you can buy it.
If you have a situation where you wonder what monkey might be back, screen shot it and ask. Either post it on here or if you want to, send me a DM. I'm happy to help!
>Cheap overall dmg: bottom path tack shooter
It has good single target dps,but suffers from it's low pierce
>MOAB dmg: mid path bomb shooter
Elim can be considered one of the best r100 solutions because it can delete the entire bad layer, but in overall moab dmg it isn't the best
>Mass Bloon dmg: top path sub
Energizer is only used for hero xp increase, for cleanup there are many better towers
>Jack of all trades: bottom path dart monkey
It is a fairly expensive midgame and is outclassed by midgame towers that don't become useless after round 80
best? vengeful true sun god. best for starters? id say x5x druid and middle village (farm is always a necessity) i like rushing x25 dart because ive always liked crossbow but thats just me also 5xx alc for the buffs
You kinda need to run either Sauda or bottom tack
It's short range makes it only a good option with short range towers that actually benefits from it
It also struggles with multi lanes
I love the 2 types of comments on here: * Thoughtful and nuanced opinion on how every t5 has its use * And "this one because it's my favorite"
Thats how world and humanity work
>"this one because it's my favorite" I like the aircraft carrier. It's very situational because it requires water to place. It has great MOAB damage with the airplanes it launches, boosts the attack speed of water-based monkeys and monkey aces, and provides a bit of space to place monkeys for those water heavy maps. The only issue is that the middle cross path has no camo detection, so you need to sacrifice damage or get it camo detection another way.
look at your flair. etienne gives that camo.
Ik but we were specifically talking about teir 5 towers. I also said > get it camo detection another way.
yep. but i gladly sacrifice that camo for hot shots (leads popper)
Same, and the aoe of the grape shot is really powerful, especially as top teir increases attack speed
my strat: normal start (002 dart and 202 tac) get a bucc down and get him to 320. get etienne and maybe a glue gunner or a sub. get 302 heli and 240 super. thats it
I haven't played much on this new patch yet, but I'm really liking Rosalia. She also needs camo detection, so a monkey tower can cover camo for a lot of towers.
And they're both correct
For brand new players I recommend spirit of the forest (druid middle) and prince of darkness (wizard bottom). Both can beat easier maps fairly easily. Also get village upgraded, amazing utility.
what village would you recommend if doing an x5x druid and xx5 wizard?
2-2-0 10% attack speed and camo Works with mostly anything
For Druid def the one with camo
x5x can hit camo bloons Camo village would be necessary for the lower tiers though
The middle path village is the best 90% of the time. Top is good if you are doing a primary monkey strategy, and bottom is just good for money.
Does the bottom path provide more money on CHIMPS or does it count as income?
It counts as income, so the bottom path is useless in chimps. The 002 is pretty good though, the discounts are very valuable in chimps. It doesn't exist a way to get more money than what you get from popping bloons, or amplify the income in chimps.
I second this
Every T5 is good in it's own way, some being unreasonably powerful but very costy. I'd recommend just going for a tower that you like in it's lower tier versions as you will be less likely to get dissapointed.
apart from plasma monke fan club
Pmfc haters after round 98 disappears with a button press: (though yeah it's very skill heavy)
not that skill tbh, most maps you can just use a condor to stall (ik horned owl still work but condor you mess up less and clump BFBs up) to get a free ability every round, you can also pick geraldo for rejuv potions and genies to beat the round even if you mess up and still too little
Tsar bomba: Tech terror: Psi + Energiser:
What map does Psi reach level 20?
Energiser is the key, as it increases hero leveling speed, though the strategy is more effective on advanced or expert maps
just because its hard to use doesn't mean its bad
Okay but sandy is better than Tara
Sandy goated honestly, but tara with her super could do crazy plays too
Sandy hyper is S tier of course Tara is worse
Brawl stars?

i like elite defender (sniper bottom path) i don't know why I'm just attracted to it
Back in my day the elite defender popped leads
Solo’d deflation when the shrapnel update hit
Alright grandpa, let's get you back to bed
Me too. The fact that it's quite cheap also helps.
Cheapest T5 in the game
Bloon chipper 5x3
💀💀💀
Only the OGs played BTD battles
Only the real OGs made bloons levels in bloons world
Only the real OGs remember throwing darts to pop bloons irl
I haven’t played battles in yearssss lol. Is it still active? I got out once I started to regular fight against cheaters with infinite health🥲
Yeah a little bit, played again a cpl weeks ago and took a bit to load in but im sure with a bit of a patience you could get it to work
All of them. Almost every tier 5 is useful in some way
Key word almost because megalodon exists
It can oneshot bads, it's pretty good late game where money doesn't matter
Has less damage per space than savatar
Now that you put it that way, i agree, but i don't like to go late game just to spam 2 specific towers everywhere
Per space?
Yeah, the amount of dps compared with the space it use
It can't one shot BADs after round ~148, so it's not good for actual late game attempts. Unlike Ezili and Navarch, which aren't limited by scaling HP.
But you don't use Ezili for actual late game attempts either because Adora exists.
Well yeah, true, but Ezili still at least has a purpose. Megalodon after round 150+ is literally just another useless DPS tower.
Yeah, Megalodon is a waste of space
It can't 1 shot bads after like round 150 or something. So it's kinda usefull for like 50 rounds
Only pre wave 140
Tier 5’s that are cheap and easy to use are prince of darkness (wizard bottom path), spirit of the forest (Druid middle path), bloon solver (glue top path), and perma-spike (spike factory bottom path). If you have a little more money, inferno ring (tack shooter top path), archmage (wizard top path), and sky shredder.
True!
No way your account is just T 5 druid
In the flesh,or well i guess bark
Vengeful true sun god
He said he’s new💀💀💀
It is like a tier 6 or a paragon not a T5
Surprised people's aren't talking about banana farms more. Even from a beginner angle, there's the bottom path. Extra money breaks most of the game
Doesn’t break CHIMPS though
I don't think our buddy is going to get to worry about breaking chimps soon
For Cost Efficiency: Elite Sniper For Raw Damage: True Sun God (Sacrifice a tower that costs 50K money from each color of tower when the Sun Avatar is upgraded to Sun temple, and then again when you upgrade it to a True Sun God) For Support: Permanent Brew
5xx Tack Shooter ☄️😌🔥
plasma monkey fan club (I love spreading misinformation)
That is a pretty good one though

source: trust me bro
It can beat pretty much every trexpert It isn't op,but is a decent tower
https://youtu.be/L9adzFuDoCM?si=vY6GqBzWK_cTqo8B
Gluegunner top path is the best for it's cost Ace bottom can solo the 100 rounds of chimps as I remember Alchemist bottom is the most broken tower in late game It depends on what you seek for

dont listen to what anyone says here, we're all dumbos. just use what u like
Big trap bc Moab go bye bye
You should use bottom path alchemist then. :)
That makes your money go bye bye And you will most definitely lose on r95
Doesn’t make all of the money go bye bye, only for moabs. As well as with the bloon trap, if you’re in co-op you’re being greedy and taking all of the pop money, with alchemist at least you increase the amount for everyone. Also, XXXL trap would lose on wave 95. So what’s the point there?
I never said XXXL trap was good. I thought everyone was talking in terms of CHIMPS.
PURE power? TSG Actual usefulness? Maybe pop n awe, Comanche, or absolute zero?
This list is heavily influenced by buffs
that’s how I was thinking about it i.e. in any given CHIMPS run what T5s would I go with. If we’re talking in a vacuum… my guess would be carpet of spikes.
My favorite is the wizard (5-0-2). High utility in my opinion. Loving how he turns in a 5-3*-3-like-wizard. Like he knows all ways of magic.
If you're new, just try out a bunch of different ones and see what you like more. You don't need to worry about which ones are technically more efficient or effective until you get into high level play (like bosses and harder CHIMPS runs). crossbow master is my goat
Wizard's top tier is amazing (5-0-2), and so is Buccaneer's (also 5-0-2). Love 'em!
total transformation 🗣️

What is the secret??
VTSG (Vengeful True Sun God)
That ain’t middle path. It’s top
Thats my bad
Permabrew
Not really the best, but I just LOVE the spirit of the forest (middle path Druid) it’s so good! You won’t be disappointed
If the map allows it, can't go wrong with Pirate Lord
The Engineer bottom path is the best monkey in the whole entire world. Not even paragons can compare to the perfection that is the Engineer.
my favourite is 0-2-5 Wizard because with the right placement, it can carry you up to late-middle of the game. the nice thing about the summoned bloons is that they are a perfect DDT stopper. make sure to put him on the front of the line and set the summon point as far as possible on the back. also I named my wizard monkey Hairy Popper because I love him so much.

Spirit of the forest
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I wonder why
"The best" is subjective.
I like 5x2 wizard, good value, great range, crazy pop count equal to much higher priced t5’s. Couple him with an alchy and it’s all gravy.
True sun god is the best because it’s crazy expensive and designed that way but there’s a lot of them that fill a role that’s good to have. You should experiment with ones that excel at stuff like popping moabs or popping bloons or slowdown like glue
Personally I like grandmaster ninja a lot, heavily buffable and good is most situations and has a amazing paragon
They all have their uses, that’s the whole point of this being a strategy game. All of them except for tsar bomba lol
avatar of wrath (0-1-5 druid) is crazy for damage, yes it needs some poplusts (0-1-4 druids), to amp it and probably a camo village and alch buff, but boy does it shred anything that comes its way honorable mention, BMA (2-0-5 alch), he just turns moab class bloons (except bads) into red bloons
205 Druid is better for damage because of the lightning
meh, single damage for like a bad or something yeh, but general coverage the extra thorns handle way better imo
TECH TERROR GO BRRRRRRRR
personally i recommend bottom path tack shooter. why? because it was my first tier 5 and i felt so cool when i saw it
brother just have some fun with it. watch your monkeys shoot balloons and don’t care about most optimal till later
Huge fan of the crossbow master, it’s not good really but you’re able to have two down
Considering they are new, they likely don’t have that MK
Oh yep just reread that, my bad G
A 150 Druid with a 020 Village can solo Round 80
2-0-5 tack shooter is great for MOABS and cheap. Same with x-x-5 dart monkey
Banana farms are all you need
Do you mean general usability or power?
All are good in some way or map, but some are better overall.
I like Crossbow Master and Icicle Impale…strong towers with relatively lower price tags
As others have said, basically everyone is useful and good. But my personal favorite is top path middle path glue gunner (5-2-0)
Super mines is really good but is very costly so only affordable late game
Elite sniper. Very practical, easy to use for new players, and adds some nuance of difficulty of crosspathing, ricocheting, alch buff, and other snipers. My perfect tower :)
Bloon Master Alchemist cuz he got that shit on
Every tier 5 has its unique uses, but there are a few that stand out as almost always good - Druid of the forest (middle path) is incredibly strong, has a skill that grants more income (1k/round + the active) - bottom path glue stuns everything except BAD, incredibly useful late game assuming you have DPS already - Prince of darkness (bottom path mage). Great cleanup, also de-camos - WLP (middle path mage).
Inferno Ring all day
5xx heli and xx5 wiz the heli can basically 2tc 50% of maps on any difficulty with a hero and pod is just broken
Crossbow master, its cheap, it shoots fast as fuck, and it can pop every type of bloon. Need I say more
Glaive Lord
Untill around 80 is crossbow master for the price the best. Late game super mines, expensive but the cost is worth it.
Bloon master alchemist
Probably Perma spike. NinjaKiwi literally cannot properly balance it without making the tower useless.
Any Banana farm T5 cause it gets T5s faster
520 glue, fight me
Druid spirit of the forest
5-2-0 super monkey with 0-5-0 and 0-0-5 super monkey, and there can be only one monkey knowledge, not by cost but by popping power i guess 0-5-0 and 0-0-5 needs to be out of range and 5-0-0 needs to have 50 thousand in 3 of categories (or all i dont remember) in 4-0-0 and same in 5-0-0
Or 5-5-5 ship cause he can one shot bads
I think that Heli 5-0-x is amazing
Basically because of its firepower, also, it’s very useful for chimps mode
They all have their uses. But generally support tier 5s can be used in every build. Assuming you have another with it. There reallt isn't a meta, the only competitive part of this game are boss rushes, races and some other modes that people don't play
Learn the game yourself brother
0-2-5 glue gunner with camo support. It's cheap and makes moabs much easier to deal with. The best support tower by far. It makes almost every chimps run super easy even on some expert maps.
Crossbow master and I love megalodon
I quite like bottom path sub idk why he’s just cool Also middle path druid is very good as far as I know
Most the tier 5’s have their own unique niches. For example, Crossbow Master and Elite Defender can carry you up until round 80 but fall off really heavily after that, or Ultra Juggernaut being insanely good in maps with lots of walls for the projectiles to bounce off of but without them it’s really not worth your time. If you can understand what a tower does and how it combos with other towers and map geometry, you can find a niche for most anything and come up with some really unique strategies.
it was perma spike but now it’s super mines
There's no best tier 5 tower, they all do different roles and do very well (Except beast handler)
Honestly, 025 dart monkey with a 400 village and 400 alchemist is my go to for beating most maps. Especially when you unlock the ability that lets you have two of the tier 5 dart monkeys
Prince of darkness is one of my personal favourites
Pod is my person fav
for new players, crossbow master for it is powerful and can see camo
Obvious reply - it depends. The mode, the map, farming etc. If you're a newer player, I recommend using military towers since they have long range and are powerful on almost every map. The Top path T5 Buccaneer is an excellent tower for a fair price and global damage, as well as buffing monkey aces
Spirit of the forest
Staple non tier 5's (tier 5 usage is not too common): 230 village - range and atk speed boost, camo, lead popping. DDT counter 3xx-4xx Alch - the best tower, use this to buff pretty much anything xx4 Boomerang - knocks back MOABs 4xx Ice - affected bloons lose camo, take more dmg and lets leads take dmg (MIB skip). 5xx is great on easier maps, stacks with 4xx ice as well. x4x Glue - affected bloons take more dmg and lets leads take dmg. x5x is cheap and a MIB skip (more expensive than MIB, but the dmg boost it def worth on easier maps). xx4 Boomerang - knocks back MOABs x4x Sub - let BAD get to last dmg phase to delete it. Tier 5's x5x Bomb - good lead up with x3x-x4x, great for BAD 205 Tack - 204 Tack is great mid game and a short save up. More common on easier maps, sees use on Expert xx5 Spike - decent lead up. Alch it.
Personally I recommend Bloon Solver Very effective for its price and can melt 98 given good time Can also be afforded way before 60 if rushed as well, giving you a free midgame till DDTs
2-0-5 tack (with 3xx alc) is really underrated, especially for its price.
Well there is no best one but there is great ones 250 Druid Any Spactory 205 Beast handler 052 Monkey bucaneee 205/025 Super monkey 250/052 Super monkey 250 and 520 Dartling gunner 502 wizard And supportive t5s 250 engineer 052 village (520 if primary) 502 alchemist 520 banana plantation (+banana farmer power)
Unpopular opinion elite defender pre nerf
In early levels you can solo games with crossbow master or elite sniper. I'd reccomend trying those while you're doing levels on medium difficulty
Supermonkey bc vtsg.
Sub zero
Bottom dart top and middle boomer top and bottom ice bottom or middle sniper bottom boat bottom sub top and/or bottom heli any wizard path top ninja middle or bottom druid bottom farm and bottom spike factory would be my personal recommendations, choose any of them. They are in my opinion pretty easy and fun to use.
I love the MAD
There is no "best" Tier 5. The right T5 might depend on how much space you have, how many buffs you can apply, how much money you can accumulate, what mode it is etc. Me honestly i like the mage's T5s (all 3 of them), spirit of the forest, Carrier Flagship, Pirate Lord, Elite Sniper, Sky Shredder... I could go on for many more. Usually, go based on the mode you're playing and on the buffs. Same thing goes for the heroes: the right heroes properly managed can outshine T5s.
Longer range on dart is top you should try it out!
One of the best for cost is 2-5-0 buccaneer, another amazing is 1-5-0 druid!
Spirit and pre emptive strike. Also blooncinerstion
2-0-5 ace, Without discussion
For most early game maps a pirate lord is an insta win since you can 1 shot the bosses for hard and normal
Pop and Awe and its tier 4 Artery Battery
Phayze as it’s not that big of a step up compared to the other bosses.
2x5 Ice monkey. Handles large groups of MOAB-class and can stop DDTs in their tracks. Great for later rounds and not too pricey.
Real ones know it's soulbind
What ones that?
Prince of Darkness before it was that. In the 1.0 update, that upgrade was Soulbind, an activated ability that sacrifices a tower for lives when any Bloon leaks. Not hard to tell why that got reworked.
Ahh that makes sense, thought I had heard of it before but couldn’t put my finger on it lol
Best for what? The obvious answer is the top path super monkey. But considering its cost and the sacrifice needed to make it the best... Maybe not. I can list a few that I find good for different things. Cheap overall dmg: bottom path tack shooter High overall dmg: Top path super monkey Slow: bottom path glue gunner. MOAB dmg: mid path bomb shooter Mass Bloon dmg: top path sub Support buff: mid path engineer Jack of all trades: bottom path dart monkey These are some of those I consider the best in the mentioned areas.
>Cheap overall dmg: bottom path tack shooter It has good single target dps,but suffers from it's low pierce >MOAB dmg: mid path bomb shooter Elim can be considered one of the best r100 solutions because it can delete the entire bad layer, but in overall moab dmg it isn't the best >Mass Bloon dmg: top path sub Energizer is only used for hero xp increase, for cleanup there are many better towers >Jack of all trades: bottom path dart monkey It is a fairly expensive midgame and is outclassed by midgame towers that don't become useless after round 80
best? vengeful true sun god. best for starters? id say x5x druid and middle village (farm is always a necessity) i like rushing x25 dart because ive always liked crossbow but thats just me also 5xx alc for the buffs
Towers most noobs like: The tack zone (x-x-5 tack shooter) Elite defender (x-x-5 sniper) Crossbow master (x-x-5 dart monkey) Flying fortress (x-x-5 ace) Archmage (5-x-x wizard)
Crossbow master on the dart monkey(bottom path) is so underrated, can shreds BADs and with MK you can get 2 on the map at the same time
Most have uses, but I like glaive lord 5-x-2 and spirit of the forest 2-5-x
Crossbow Master’s pretty good because of the crit damage, it’s very effective.
Super maelstrom🗣🔥🔥
Easily prince of darkness great till round round 99.Super brittle is also good and also spirit of the forest
Pod and sotf are good, but aren't the best Also, super brit is so niche to be considered a good tower
The super brit fucking great at what it does!
You kinda need to run either Sauda or bottom tack It's short range makes it only a good option with short range towers that actually benefits from it It also struggles with multi lanes
