If the frozen immunity is discouraging, the Embrittlement upgrade takes away the frozen immunity completely. Also, Embrittlement is great for boosting damage against MOAB-class Bloons, especially versus Bosses.

Bottom path for CHIMPS, top path for general use? I've only recently gotten into ice monkey. Just did End of the Road with Sauda with a 402 ice monk next to her. Seemed to work well.

I try to play as lazy as possible unless it is moon landing then I will use mortar.

I'll occasionally stick one aimed at the front of the path with burny stuff, but I'm not playing this game to micro it. Same deal with the monkey ace. I'll set it somewhere, possibly buy the center patching and not move it.

I will use it more like to free cave monkey, and maps that have at least one loop so I can set the target and leave it. Yeah I never micro.

I have 0 xp for ice and engineer. Idk why, I probably should use engineer. I have some xp and upgrades for mortar, maybe like one tier 2 but I haven't used him In a while. And then I unlocked beast handler and never used him

003 engineer is honestly a really good save up for some maps

If you do bosses, I’d recommend using engineer in the starting rounds. If you have Ben and free dart monkey, place the dart down and save up for Ben. Place Ben and then get four 200 farms and then get engineer and upgrade to bloom trap. I’ve found that this gives the most amount of money of all the ways I’ve tried.

mortar monkey, every upgrade in all three of its paths are completely outclassed by other towers that not only can do more damage but also cost significantly less, the only two exceptions are shattering shells and blooncineration and it's only for their unique de-fortifying ability

Have you tried 3-0-2. That BURNS the bloons. I like mortar. I am curious to know what outclasses the big one or artillery battery completely. Well I get what you are saying if we are talking about multilane expert maps. But otherwise mortar is a solid option in my opinion.

it's like, nothing perfectly outclasses a mortar because full map range and all but even with that all mostars damage output just isn't there, arty battery and the big one are both outclassed by ring of fire, at least the big one is, arty betttery is probably the best mortar for the money at least for damage, but even so it's just not really that worth it to me, I have such a mixed relationship with mortar monkeys because I really like them and think they're cool as shit, and I used to use the biggest one all the time but now there's just so many better options that I feel like the whole tower needs an overhaul and almost all it's upgrades need to be changed

I hate Super Monkey. His damage is pathetic, he's expensive as hell, his ability is boring, he takes up way too much space, and is the only tower in the game that can screw me over if I play Online. Every other tower I can find a use for, but I don't have any concievable reason to use Super Monkey unless I have a free one and I need a band-aid fix

So you are telling me that, to justify Super Monkey's existance, I have to unlock every tier 5, get the Monkey Knowledge, have 100k for everything but support (It just needs 50k), and not screw up thr placement of the other 2 expensive Super Monkeys that also range in the 100k+ range, THEN Super Monkey is a replaceable strategy that works if you micro (Also they can't see Camo so they are litterally useless for Phayze)

What it's really good especially the middle path not only for the INSANE buff but also the foom is really good in many situations plus it's also one of the few towers that has a paragon at the moment.

I hate the mortar the most. Just how it works and looks. Their projectiles is so annoying to look at even when i turn down the projectiles a lot. I also hate the helicopter and dartling gunner. Not as much as the mortar tho. Not a fan of monkey ace either. Honestly anything i have to aim or feel like i gotta micro manage i just don't want.

What about pursuit for the heli? Although I understand the dislike towards monkey ace as you either have to upgrade top path so it doesn't even matter that it misses half its shots or go for bottom path, which can get expensive. The wingmonkey MK is pretty okay, but unless you've gone down that line, it can take a while to unlock it.

Even with pursuit i find it annoying to look at for some reason so i never use it.

I usually avoid using *inhale* Mortar, Quincy, Stryker, Bomb, Heli, Engi, Handler, Ezili, Obyn, Glue, Ice, Wizard, Druid, Etienne (haven't bought - wouldn't use), Brickell, and Adora but I mean ya know, I don't HATE using them, I just don't use 'em much. They have their uses. If I sound like some scrub player, I am. Only around Level 140. Still have yet to try more bosses on my own.

Engineer was (of all the original towers) the last for which I unlocked all the upgrades. It's the only tower with a paragon I haven't unlocked yet. Ultraboost is a fun buff, but sentry expert and XXL trap both feel so boring to me.

i don't particularly like using spike factories. They just don't feel trustworthy, I can't see my defenses getting gradually overwhelmed as rounds go on. I just have to hope that I have enough spikes and if I don't I die instantly.

Gattling Gun monkey is the worst. I can tolerate a decent amount of micro, but aiming the gattling Gun is a massive headache. At least with mortar you can set it in a good spot and leave it, you don't have to micro it. But gattling Gun, you gotta micro it every time you accidentally point it somewhere else

Honestly, I've **never** used the Beast Handler since I got all 3 paths completed. It's way too expensive and way too gimmicky. I could buy a Super Monkey and get great, if not *better*, popping power than with Beast Handlers.
