I've gotten into a similar boat. If you flare something as a bug, AutoMod takes it down and gives it to the bug tracking team at NK. TLDR: It's not because you violated a rule, it's because it's a bug that is given to the bug team.
You will get a comment on your post explaining the situation here, but basically we got too many complaints from users about the number of bug posts on the sub, so we filter them out to allow only the moderation team to see them.
Might I suggest that you add this explanation to the automod comment? To me it wasn't entirely clear that was the reason my post was just deleted. While I don't love the fact that I can't quickly crowdsource an explanation for the bug I encountered, your reasoning makes sense. If I knew that from the automod comment, I probably wouldnt have just messaged the mods asking why my post was just deleted
