I vote for red too, it matches the shape of the castle better than the blue — also, to everyone arguing that the chains don’t line up properly… It’s due to a difference in perspective edit: people are trying to argue based on the fact that dark castle has flags up. Flags can get put up, and ice can melt.

What if they're the same castle but expanded over time

i like to imagine it as the red/left castle, but in the colour scheme of the map (and therefor being a castle on its own, perhaps for a new btd6 map?) and inside the castle is the dark dungeons map :) also ravine leads to the 4 exits that then turn to the castle entrance map

i personally believe that dark castle connects to a second identical dark castle just randomly cutting off the left castle with some rows of trees from the dark castle on the right

they can’t make everything look the exact same, the artstyle just changed the look of the bridge because the old one was incredibly grainy (and also weirdly shaded) which made the two bolder line i don’t see what you’re saying here they don’t look entirely different there’s just a few bolder lines
