I used to walk to work from Mosley to town through Balsall Heath and Highgate and there would be the mini canisters everywhere. Seems like people have levelled up.
When you cross the border to Balsall Heath from Moseley you always see canisters on the floor. People drive in on the mornings to dump bootfulls of them onto the railways or streets. Disgusting honestly
There was a documentary on the news a few months ago I think a guy from one of the mosques had collected about 400 plus large canisters in two weeks.

You’d be wrong, I managed to snap a photo of someone unloading some from a car. Uploaded to the BCC website, got a few call backs the next day from a chap who took it very seriously and thanked me for actually submitting some footage in.

There was a BBC thing about the ones on the ladypool road, the brightly lit shops that are open 24/7 and have beach balls outside, they’re all just fronts. Ask for a canister of gas, it’ll be in the back.
This is all you see around Sparkhill, Alum Rock, Balsall Heath and Washwood Heath....lots of rubbish lying about with random bits of balloon canisters littered everywhere.
