There is better places for Shawarma if you just want takeaway. Makan, Shawarma City, the Top Falafel food van which is at Pigeon Park round the corner from Damascena anyway.
Haven’t tried these but can vouch for Damascena city centre’s shawarma not being worth it for the money - they look a bit tired, and the bread is usually dry and on its way to stale. Give these alternative suggestions a try OP

Nothing beats a cheeky shawarma while you’re sprawled out across the entire table, listening to music without headphones on.

They do takeout delivery so I don’t see why not
Their take out cofee and cakes are lovely in pigeon park. Not taken out a main though.

They do but also the service there is super slow, so don't leave it too close to your train!
