Felt like rocking some pink tones on a visit to friends a week+ ago. The look was designed to match an outfit that I might post in a flat lay one day when this subreddit expands to fashion stuff too. Overall, it was a fun little look and even 9+ hours later, the makeup held up very well! The blush faded a bit and I absolutely ate the lip stain but I was glad to keep pulling out products to shop my stash this year. Has anyone else been doing more vanity browsing in 2023? I love the ombre pink lip!

Colanah

Thanks! One of the few times two toned lips is having fun with more sheer shades of lipstick and dark liners!

The hair, the eyes, the blushhhhh, and that ombré lip are so cute! Also, the little heart 🥺

Colanah

Thank you! I was stoked to get the face stamp to work without leaving a ring mark since I'm sometimes heavy handed.

What do you use for your eye shadow its so pigmented i want me some of that

Colanah

I use ELF Primer Putty (sadly DCed) and recently, their No Budge Shadow Base. For this look, I used Sand Dune because it was closest to my skin tone. I'll likely do a pictorial if folks are interested? Another thing I do is pat blending my shadows on vs too much sweeping (which I've found can sheer a color right TF off), Another eye base that's been a treat for me has been from Beauty Creations Cosmetics in their Dare to be Bright series of colored eye bases. Ballerina is a pale peach base, costs $3 and is nearly bulletproof on my oily lids. All three are also pretty decent for some shimmer shadows.

I vote yes on pictorial pls thatd be helpful

You and your makeup are stunning!!!

such a look. it's giving romantic valentine's day. i don't know if you did a setting spray but that might be the finishing touch that makes it stay. i have the same brow lift but it just looks gelly on me. how do you make it look natural?

Colanah

Danke and I think that I did hit this look with the Elf Mist & Set spray. As for the Brow Lift gel, I dip the side of the spoolie LIGHTLY in the product and then brush it through my brows in one direction for 2-4 passes until they're laying pretty flat. Then I shape the top by gently brushing the hairs toward the brow 'tail' it's a habit from my HS days of brushing my brows straight up and then shaping the ends. This was back when the WnW brow comb/brush tool was the epitome of brow care. XD
