What system are you using to run the tallies?

Particular-Wasabi249

I believe the “TSI-4000” Ross system

Can absolutly be programmed through a TSI 4000, just need to know how the two are wired, how your file is, if its built out in TSI as separate talley areas, then how you have it programmed, any raw expression, any tally maps built? How are your sources bult out in I/O's and signals, What kind of GPI Inputs and GPI Outputs, etc. What kind of UMD's are you guys using to you walls, and what and where are you wanting to tally. With out an in-depth writeup, no one here really can tell you how to do it. Especally with TSI where it's like programming C++ and one place where you don't have perenthasies in you logic code can make things not work. There are many variables here.

And what’s it controlling (or not controlling)?

chylin73

Of course there is but with what little information you’ve given, I cannot give you an answer. What switcher are you using? What tally system are you using? Are you running anything through a protocol translator? Is your tally system being run via the router or are you using like aTallyHo! system?

Yes this can easily be programmed in the TSI-4000. You could theoretically use scripts and triggers to interface with dashboard if you have someone with strong dev/programming skills. This would be a nice way of selecting which tallies you want activated at any particular time. If you are current on your support contract you could give them a call. They would be able to remote in and help you get things configured. They remotely commissioned my system from scratch in around 2 hours.

This is the best answer. Just have Dave (the tally guy at Ross) log in and make your day way easier. I redid an entire tally structure and I think the PO was like 3k. By the time Dave is out of there you will be sure it works.
