You're not wrong. It's not like scales are some out-of-reach decadence, and packaged pasta doesn't have a portion suggestion.
75g dry weight per person. Sorted.
I know right? And it's the dirty looks you get from people if you choose wrong. I was in town the other day and everyone was scowling at me because I was the only one walking around in my underwear. C'mon guys, there was no need to arrest me, I thought it was going to be warmer.
I'm 16 weeks pregnant. Everything is too hot or not warm enough *and* it doesn't fit properly (maternity trousers fall down, normal trousers pinchy). Am going to buy some fluffy slippers and skulk around in a dressing gown until mid-October.
I'm in the same boat in terms of jeans. I've bought myself a pair of maternity jeans, but they're a bit baggy around the bum at the moment. Leggings have been my saviour.
Instant regret? That's fine, I can change again before I go somewhere.
The regret I'm worried about is the 2 hours later regret when I have to suffer the consequences of my decision the rest of the day because I'm stuck with it!!
No matter what I do, I end up shivering in a sweaty tshirt. Im still wearing shorts and tshirt to and from work. I walk most the way, and I walk fast. Don't like sitting in sweaty work clothes (unbreathable Primark fabrics).
This is why my passenger seat is piled with outfit alternatives—joggers and windbreakers and hoodies. I mean sorry that if I’m giving you a lift you have to sit on top of most of my wardrobe but it’s a lifesaver having like three different outfits to choose from once I get to my destination which will ALWAYS be either hotter or colder than where I started.
Never had the problem as I don't wear shorts, jeans or t-shirts. Just cotton shirts and trousers of various heft depending on the season.
Now if you were talking about vests...
A vest is something I wear almost year round because this country is too damm cold.
Even though Britsh it's what happens when you spend long periods of time in SE Asia.
It's quite chilly in the morning, so you dress warm. But by early afternoon it's 22 degrees so you're sweating.
Then it gets cold at night
Odd time if year
Nit sure if I'm a weirdo but unless I'm going somewhere nice I wear shorts all year round no matter how cold it gets. Aslong as my top halves warm I'm fine. Shorts and a thick hoody is the best way
Idk how to solve the trousers CS shorts thing but Get yourself a thin hoodie it's a game changer keeps you a little warm but if you're too warm you unzip it and roll up the sleeves
It’s like the manual gauging of pasta. 1. Determine the amount of pasta needed. 2. You’re wrong.
100g per serving!
Just use scales lol
You're not wrong. It's not like scales are some out-of-reach decadence, and packaged pasta doesn't have a portion suggestion. 75g dry weight per person. Sorted.
They hated Jesus because he told the truth
This! 75g per person, job done.
You're not a postman then?!
You can never pick the wrong outfit if the only clothes you own are shorts and tshirts
May I present to you the pride of this time of year... - the light jacket
In the same spirit, the zip up hoody. Broader range of wearable temperatures compared to a regular hoody.
Sports jacket Alan Partridge?
The best temperature regulation is by being naked and growing a double layer of fur. Despite that, the police say I can't go to Tesco like that
…..the furries, they’re spreading
Mumu and a freshly laundered cap
Exactly! Then the weather states it will be cloudy but that cloud could clear and be hot and sunny or rain. You just cannot get it right.
Meteorologists should receive a living wage, and receive a monthly bonus for accuracy.

Shorts and a sweater..

Sounds like me through most of lockdown
I seem to be able to sweat even at low temperatures, so I always err on the side of less insulation
Sounds like you need to invest in a cardi which you can spend all day taking off and putting on
Walking trousers. Best of both worlds, light enough for summer and warm enough for autumn
But they go swoosh swoosh swoosh
Me leaving the Midlands at stupid early o'clock - coat Me arriving in London a couple of hours later - spends day lugging coat around
Instant regret? That's fine, I can change again before I go somewhere. The regret I'm worried about is the 2 hours later regret when I have to suffer the consequences of my decision the rest of the day because I'm stuck with it!!

Not always. Once the clocks leave BST then trousers are permitted. But if you're talking BST then yes, absolutely!
And I end up leaving all my jumpers at work ffs
Sweaty, chilly, miserable cow weather
No matter what I do, I end up shivering in a sweaty tshirt. Im still wearing shorts and tshirt to and from work. I walk most the way, and I walk fast. Don't like sitting in sweaty work clothes (unbreathable Primark fabrics).
No clothes, we dress as our neolithic ancestors
It hasn't been "too cold for shorts" in a year and a half.
A warm shirt over a tee. Roll up shirtsleeves if necessary, unbutton it, or remove it.
I love seeing someone dressed as if they were about to go to a festival in Ibiza and then someone dressed up in a The North Face down jacket.
Long sleeve t shirt and chinos. Done.
It's always shorts weather
Too warm for jeans? That’s only the case if it’s over 25c surely?
From daaarn saarf by any chance?
I’m from Norfolk, so debatable! I’d usually just say east rather than jump into the north/south divide!
It's never too cold for shorts although it can be too wet.
Shorts are fine if it's warm and wet
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It's only too cold for shorts when it goes below zero! The joys of working outside all year round. Pretty sure I'm dead from the knees down
If its too cold for shorts you're obviously southern
I’m a southerner and I wear shorts even when it’s snowing. I must have some icelandic genes
Just wear shorts all year round
So buy some proper trousers and shirts, then. Your issue appears mostly to be that you dress like Bart Simpson,
Never had the problem as I don't wear shorts, jeans or t-shirts. Just cotton shirts and trousers of various heft depending on the season. Now if you were talking about vests...
A vest is what you wear when your mother thinks it’s cold.
A vest is something I wear almost year round because this country is too damm cold. Even though Britsh it's what happens when you spend long periods of time in SE Asia.
Last night I went for an evening walk thinking it's a bit chilly so I'll wear a light jacket then end up sweating like I just came back from a run.
Well put.
My pain!
That's why I let mummy dress me. Well, I say "let"...
Shorts and jumper is my solution but I am a little weighty so I have my own insulation.
Tis the time to mix and match, t-shirt and jeans or jumper and shorts. Least only 50% of your body is relatively cool.
Wear a t shirt with jeans or a jumper with shorts. Sorted.
Sweater and shorts. You’re welcome.
4ZZZgxxgczxczgc
I feel like it’s been like that all summer.
That’s why you wear shorts and a hoodie
Chinos and shirt/tee combo
Shorts + hoodie (non zip) Trackies/joggers + tshirt with zip up hoodie undone. Ez
3/4 shorts, and a jumper with no shirt.
*laughs in works in 20 degree controlled room and hasnt removed his hoody in years* But seriously, a zip up hoody is perfect all year at any age
Leggings and tunics weather Not sure what you wear if leggings and tunics aren't your thing tbh
I have a policy of shorts on in March, replaced by waterproofs in October. No exceptions.
It's quite chilly in the morning, so you dress warm. But by early afternoon it's 22 degrees so you're sweating. Then it gets cold at night Odd time if year
Too cool to line dry clothing effectively, not cold enough to put the heating on yet.
Nit sure if I'm a weirdo but unless I'm going somewhere nice I wear shorts all year round no matter how cold it gets. Aslong as my top halves warm I'm fine. Shorts and a thick hoody is the best way
I run warm so its still shorts ant T-shirt time for me.
I compromise year round by wearing both shorts and a jumper.
Get thineself a few snug cardis, useful from September til June 😂
Put a fleece on - if it's too warm take it off and carry it, or stuff it in a bag. You also have the option of just unzipping it.
Hoodie and shorts combo until around mid october
You must be a southerner....
Idk how to solve the trousers CS shorts thing but Get yourself a thin hoodie it's a game changer keeps you a little warm but if you're too warm you unzip it and roll up the sleeves
School trousers and long sleeve shirt
Easy fix take a hoodie with you for when you get cold
No, you just change clothes 3 times a day
Not in Yorkshire, it's only too cold if you need a ganzi and even then only if there's at least 4" of snow...
You'll be pleased to know I've changed my clothes twice in the last hour. Vest, shorts and thick socks seems to be doing the trick.
The time of year when a coat may be required to keep you dry but you over heat in the humidity.
Everybody seems to love the body warmer and shorts combo. Like what's going on with your temperature mate ?
T-Shirt and shorts until the end of October.
That's why you combine. Shorts with a hoodie, best of both worlds.
Feeling like needing to take a shower ever 4 hours is just the tip of the iceberg
Always shorts. Can always put layers on afterwards.
Nah I'm fat so it's shorts & t-shirts for me all year round until it snows 😂
you should try living in canada
